The point being made is that some on the political right assume the poor receiving government aid are undeserving and should be treated with the indignity of having to prove work and drug testing to qualify for aid. But when it comes to white farmers from Iowa receiving aid, they don’t suffer the same indignity. There is an assumption that these are good people hard done by.

It isn't because of JFS and their exec salaries. Rescue Missions is 1/4th the size of JFS and their CEO makes $300,000. San Diego YMCA gets tens of millions in public money and their CEO almost a million a year while dozens of their execs make over $300,000. It isn't because JFS spends most of the safe parking money on salaries. That's what they're contracted to do as a service organization. San Diego Rescue Missions also spends the majority of the money on their salaries but they only work M-F, 8-5. Meanwhile JFS was at the safe parking lot every single night, every weekend and every holiday. While you celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with your MAGA friends and family, JFS is with the lot residents trying to give them the best holiday they can. It isn't because JFS is so expensive. San Diego Rescue Missions is charging the city $350,000 for a seven month contract. For y'all slow on the math, that's over $600,000 per year for 2 full timers working business hours to do outreach. It isn't because JFS didn't provide the services they were contracted to. Unless you believe the dumbasses who spread lies like the lot was always empty or there were only 3 cars there last month.
