This issue with Hoebeck's racism and general assholery meeting live city council reminds me of some family's dynamics when a child molester or incest is exposed. They can get angry at the victim for creating a situation where reprehensible behavior and the adults that "didn't know" are confronted with reality in a way they can no longer pretend to ignore.
He's a racist because he made racist comments, doubled down on them (with the help of the admin of Encinitas Insider) then offered a joke of an apology when he realized he wasn't gonna slither out of what the two of them created unscathed.

The collision was reported just after 1 p.m. in the area of Chesterfield Drive at San Elijo Avenue, Lt. Joe Berry said.
The person died at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office’s Railroad Enforcement Unit is investigating the incident.
The family wants to ask North County transit disaster for all the pain and suffering. 🙏
