Just because you don't like Steve and he happens to be white doesn't mean he's a racist.
I knew nothing about Steve before all of this came up. I recognize his name but I was not familiar with his donations, comments, positions, etc. I did see his post when it first went up by coincidence. In my opinion it was clearly racist. Not just an ignorant mistake, but mocking people. Multiple people asked him to take it down and asked the admin to remove it. Neither were willing to.

ReplyDeleteWasn't it just a couple weeks ago that Bruce was ranting about his firm belief in free speech and freedom of expression? He went on about that's why he'd never do something stupid like jazz hands to limit how people participate. Now he's threatening to eject people for standing silently at their seats?
ReplyDeleteWhen and how did Bruce instruct the IT staff to overly zoom the camera on the speakers podium to avoid showing the residents supporting them? I've watched just about every council meeting for the last couple decades and I've never seen such blatant and intentional suppression. Hopefully people are already on the FOI requests. Can you imagine if Catherine pulled a stunt like this?
It was awesome for Luke to prove again what everyone already knows. Luke, Jim, Bruce and Marco see residents who don't agree with them and want to hold them accountable as enemies. Who knows if Luke is so fucking dumb that he doesn't realize that his description fit perfectly to describe his puppetmasters and donors for the past 6 years. Since he had no political involvement until his election he genuinely may not know.....or he's just as clueless and lacking in self awareness as they are. Most importantly though, Luke made it loud and clear that he regrets nothing about his road rage attack, believes he did nothing wrong and its the residents to blame.
Then there's Jim. Watchdork Jim. WHATEVER bullshit he was even referring to...THAT was the most vile thing you've seen???? After all those Watchdork years and the absolutely despicable and often times frightening garbage directed at the previous councils and anyone who supported them. Who do you think was responsible for all that insane bullshit? The very people who paid for your election and do your dirty work. Just goes to show how absolutely clueless these clowns are.
