An Encinitas man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murdering his older brother Sunday night by hitting him with his truck after they got into an argument, according to homicide investigators with the San Diego County Sheriffs Department.And the suspected stabber and getaway driver in the D Street Bar & Grill stabbing were also named:
Encinitas resident Camilo Perez-Ruiz, 37, is believed to have killed his older brother Joaquin Perez-Ruiz, 44 and also an Encinitas resident, after the two got into a heated argument at a friend’s house nearby, said investigators.
Jose Villanueva, 34, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the knife, Stevenson said. Jacqueline Albrecht, 23, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the vehicle, Stevenson said.The suspects were reportedly arrested at the Olivenhain mansion of Susan D. Albrecht, apparently Jacqueline's mother, on three acres on Wiegand Street. The Albrechts have owned the property since Jacqueline was middle-school age.
The assault with a deadly weapon charge against Jacqueline will likely be dropped or pleaded down to something much less. Police tend to over-charge in cases like this, and prosecutors tend to under-prosecute. It will be very difficult to prove that Jacqueline intended to assault anyone rather than just get away, especially because she didn't hit anyone.

ReplyDeleteDeputy District Attorney Tracy Prior said Camilo Perez got into an argument with his brother over having someone cover a job in Mexico and were about to fight when a third person intervened. She said Joaquin Perez then left to walk home, and the defendant got in his truck and drove alongside the victim.
“Ultimately, the defendant, angry with his brother over the earlier argument, drove up on the sidewalk and ran over his brother, went into reverse and dragged him 15 feet, taking off part of his scalp,” Prior said.
Damn. I still strongly suspect both these guys are/were lowlife scum, but I have to admit I do hope there was some unforeseen psychological snap or a meth overdose involved. Otherwise, it's almost cartel-type behavior -- very unsettling.

first off, the case will not be filed by the D.A's office and yet once again, jose juarez villanueva,aka pepe from pomona,ca has walked away with no consequence to his actions.he was just released from jail about less than a year ago for facing assult and mayhem charges on another person he had an argument with at woody's bar located, in escondido,ca and was given 2 year and served only 5 1/2 months.so what's next,is he going to kill some one then be given a slap on the wrist and sent back to his girlfriends mothers SUSAN DENISE ALBRECHT mansion
