  9. People getting un down on the roads and people getting creamed by the NCTD board that doesn’t give a shit

They allow empty trains to decimate the community and waste all kinds of freaking life, and the huge cost involved in the responses for the mismanagement from this board. What the fuck Jim OHarra get your shit together and get that fucked up coaster program ended.

Retired of all the deaths the families destroyed and the gigantic hundreds of millions of dollars wasted, and they huge delays in our community caused by that piece of shit nonfunctioning train service.

And then at the city council meetings, they just ramble on about senseless wasteful bullshit.

This city is so fucked up.

    1. 8:33 are you also the plane guy? If not would you be open to a steel cage wrestling match with him? I'm thinking it would make for a great Cyclovia half-time show.

    2. 8:57- I sure do hate people that make fun of people that die.

I’m not laughing at all considering how many people die in Encinitas because of incompetence.

    3. 8:57......nope, I'm a plain guy under the name of plane guy. I'm a fan of trains so I'll never complain about them.
And by the by. I took a bullet for everyone in Encinitas concerning private planes flying in circles/back and forth as many as 40 times from clubs and flying schools out of Montgomery Field. Notice it has been reduced by 85 percent.........and I'm not done.
Don't get me started on how the Sheriffs Department lied about me and placed me behind bars.
That.......is a tale of unbelievable stories you couldn't make up. So far they have gotten away with it......
      But NOT FOR LONG

  10. As people die on our streets and in our community being run down by the empty train, the city Council lives on and on and on about sense of shit.,

So disappointing and amazing that this city is sooooo bad.

Ehlers has Blakespear’s city manager running g thing as the drug addict homeless take over the city. 👎🏿

  11. That Shitler woman is one entitled SOB. Did she design that shit show on Santa Fe? Up there lying about what people think, f her. Nobody, and I mean nobody, likes or is comfortable with that mess. You may find a few people that are indifferent that don’t live there but everyone single person that lives in that area absolutely hates the design. All this traffic calming BS does is push traffic into neighborhoods. Those neighborhood streets are effectively one lane because not supplying parking is encouraged by developer cartel code. Traffic calming should be called what it is…future developer making it easier to pass traffic studies, that all it is. Or maybe call it fuck your safety we got developers to make rich. Or perhaps call it annoy driver and force them into neighborhood scape. Street scape, Pedestrian Scrape, OKC in 6.

    2. The city has tons of revenue. You should review the cities budget and long-term financial plan.

Oh, that’s right. They are not doing any long-term financial planning. It’s because Bruce supports Blakespears’s Kranzinitas City management team, and they are completely incompetent.

If they weren’t wasting all of the gigantic revenue from our tax dollars on ridiculous programs where they talk forever like at last night’s council meeting, There would be massive amounts of money for infrastructure, maintenance, and rebuilding deadly intersections like the one that was a result of Emery’s death.

30% of City staff are assigned to useless programs. A real city management team needs to come in and eliminate 30 to 40 full-time paperpusher talking heads positions use that money for needed infrastructure maintenance.

  16. “The Railroads for National Defense Program (RND) ensures the readiness capability of the national railroad network to support defense deployment and peacetime needs. The program integrates defense rail needs into civil sector planning. Rail is a vital mode of transportation for the DOD due to the size, weight and amount of military cargo required to deploy to seaports of embarkation in a timely manner.

    STRACNET
The RND program, in conjunction with the US Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), established the Strategic Rail Corridor Network (STRACNET) to ensure DOD’s minimum rail needs are identified and coordinated with appropriate transportation authorities. The STRACNET is an interconnected and continuous rail line network consisting of over 41,300 miles of track serving 141 defense sites. It is not intended to be a routing guide as military cargo may also travel over non-STRACNET lines. It is currently assessed and updated for sufficiency on a 5-year cycle, with the most recent update published in July 2023.“

If you think the DOD is cool with the home port of the Pacific Fleet not having rail access during a moment in time when one of the most foreseeable conflicts we need to prepare for is an invasion of Taiwan in the Pacific, then you are dumber than dumb.

    1. 👆🏽 Big deal

This has nothing to do with stopping the deadly and wasteful programs with Amtrak and NCTD.

Put the military railroad track out along Miramar to I-15 up through Camp Pendleton. That makes much more sense and is much more efficient better for defense, lower, long-term maintenance costs and much better for the communities and environment.

The current NCD program and alignment is completely destructive on the community, economy, and public health.

Bruce Ehlers and Jim O’Hara get your act together. You are supposed to be representing us on this issue.

      Then we’ll talk.

      Good luck to you!

  19. At 10:10a.m a private plane out of Montgomery Field was flying at 300 ft over Encinitas. What these jerks do is get a 1200 flight number so their tail number cannot be viewed on radar.
That is 700' below Federal Aviation elevaton of 1000ft
The FAA has been informed. Now let us see "if they do anything"

    1. Hi dynamic Kranz comeback duo. Now F off.

      Delete
    2. Squawk code never has anything t to do with the tail number.

It’s assigned randomly by air traffic controllers so they can identify which plane is which on their screen. A 1200 code just means that plane is flying under visual flight rules in uncontrolled airspace without being actively managed by air traffic control.

    3. ON Webtrak it hides the number with a 1200. I have filed a criminal complaint with the FAA. This is considered terrorist activity by the Feds. I hope they hang this jerk and I would love to help.

A couple months in the excitement turned into .... Well I guess they’re still better than the last crew. Now we're six months in, and honestly, other than the hardcore fans, all I hear is regret. Luke's seen as a clueless, unstable clown. And Jim? Totally living up to his reputation as an arrogant dickhead who thinks he's WAY smarter than he actually is. It's also become obvious to all that they're just doing the bidding of a small group that are basically the worst people in town. On the upside, more folks seem to be warming up to Bruce. 41. 9:56- 💯 spot on!

Unfortunately Bruce has many weaknesses that we are seeing. He blew it with an amazing opportunity to hire an amazing City Manager 6 months ago, and here we are paying for his mistake, but there is hope.

As we watch at every Council Meeting, we have new talking heads up on the dias. Yet, its the same old problems because its still the Blakespear Kranzinitas team leading the call for the PB bar scene in downtown Encinitas,

We have our Kranzinitas City endorsed program promoting massive THC (and other drugs) at the 4 City endorsed Pot/Wastoid stores pumping drugs into our community and school chidren, open call to the world's Fenti / Crack whores which are streaming in from LA, San Diego, Oside, Carlsbad, and everywhere with the Magnet of CRC promising free room and board living at the beach. You can also borrow (steal) anything you like from the residents because they love Fenti-Zombies and Meth addicts, make sure you jack off while staring in the eyes of little Kayla(I’m sure her parents love that), and then you have,

The Blakespear/Gimp/Schindler/Abe/Bankston/Campbell road design team implementing amazing disasters leading to endless death, pain, suffering, and lawsuits, RIP to:

-Deaths and pain of family like .

    and then,

Lack of maintenance of infrastructure.... same incompetent Blakespear/Kranzinitas team,

No feasibility study or long term plan for the City's Second Senior Center at Pacific View that consumed and consumes huge amount of tax funds to maintain and operate in addition to the $30 million, debt, and long term maintenance costs, yet it remaining empty 90% of the time because its not need or high priority for the resident. - Same Blakespear/Kranzinitas City Hall team

Beach access destruction and closures, the same Blakespear City Hall team

Massive death and lack of action on the quiet zone along the NCTD railroad , same Blakespear/Kranzinitas team

Bruce Ehlers caused this lack of addressing the root cause of the problem and the other City Council members gave there endorsement because they were all new and had no clue what they were doing.

That was 6 month ago, and same problems, death and destruction continue because it the exact same team from Blakespear / Kranz.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Here is our suggestion. Let not do the same thing.

Lets not continue with the Blakespear/Kranzinitas/Campbell team.

Lets get a real City Manager.

Luke- You are the natural leader on the City Council, it shows.

We all see the situation clear as day. We see you

The current insanity is not working and will not work (see above definition of insane).

Please act and get the City of Encinitas a real City Manager to start the needed change. The City of Encinitas needs a functional competent City Hall

It’s great that you took numbers and plugged them into PowerPoint.

But then you put the name of the fake group that is just you and your wife and put it at the bottom of the PowerPoint as though you are the source of the data. You aren’t. You didn’t fund any project to collect data.

When people tag a source on their charts, they are identifying who created the dataset—not who typed them into PowerPoint like any monkey could do.

    2. Scott, it matters because no one is going to “just trust me, bro” with data.

Sourcing is important because you may have actually exposed something interesting that someone would want to look into. When that happens, they will want to go look at the primary source to make sure you represented it properly, that you didn’t make a mistake typing it into PowerPoint, and they may want to know the methodology used to collect the data, and whether that methodology has changed when making comparisons to previous years.

They can’t do any of that if you don’t point them to the primary source data. And if they can’t do that, there’s a 0% chance you’ll have any impact.

Congratulations. You just wasted your time, council’s time, and the time of everyone in the room.

How about on a spot on the 9 acres of open space at FPF? The homeless can transition to the LI units spandex-grovie built on the Agri Land in Perpetuity? 59. That's so dumb. A "dangerous road" did not kill Emery. A dangerous driver did. Someone made an illegal or unsafe turn, or someone ran a red light. One car hit another and that vehicle careened through the intersection, tragically striking beautiful, young Emery in the crosswalk. It's sad. It's tragic beyond words. But none of that makes it criminal. The impact that killed Emery was secondary to the vehicular collision, so it's likely that no one will be held responsible, or culpable for her accidental death. That's not to say that there won't be a civil suit, there certainly will be.

Developer employed AZ Joy needs to resign and quit making horrible decisions for Encinitas.

The unwarranted stop sign on La Costa Avenue and Sheraton did not help anything. It was a terrible decision that will result in serous injuries. It could likely get a kid killed in the future due to this City’s propensity to install unwarranted stop signs.

Actions always speak louder than words and this City actions have sent strong message thorough CA if not the world. In Encinitas, we embrace and promote :

    1. Unbridled high density developer profit driven growth from the employers of Councilwomen AZ Joy.

    2. Bars and Ganja drug Huts pumping out massive amounts of mind altering drugs into community’s tourists and drivers every day.

    3. Unwarranted stop signs that harm public safety while giving the false sense of security that people will actually stop even though we all see with our own eyes most people do not stop because they know they are unenforceable and will be thrown out. In court.

    4. No traffic enforcement because the current Blakespear City Hall leaders are busy hiring more paper pushing talking heads to consume all the budget (high salary and pensions in perpetuity) while traffic cops and maintenance and safety improvements of our roads remain non-existent.

Listen to the illogical comments from Mayor Ehlers to support this unsafe action. He state he knows many people regularly run stop signs and the numbers drunks an other higher than kite distracted drivers on the road will not even slow down and have limited judgment on seeing pedestrians or children crossing the road.

These actions from City Council will make our roads more unsafe, more children will die, more pain and suffering in our community, more sad testimony by families and friends of the deceased and more law suits taking money that could have been used to improve road safety and giving to the plaintiffs for good reason. The City tis liable for its bad decisions.

Mr. Oharra an ill thought out, non warranted stop sign is not a cheaper alternative that a roundabout when you consider the results. The City is responsible for its actions. Do I need to remind you of:

I am what some call an ambulance chaser, and other families call me a hero for making responsible parties pay for their actions.

I have already downloaded and saved this City Council’s public records and videos. I wish I could thank you City Council, but in my heart I honestly just want less children to die.

I simply ask the City to take you actions seriously and think of the outcomes. You are liable.

Mr. Shaffer- You commented, “Forward thinking”. Please think about your forward thinking actions because the City will be held liable.

So on record here - The simplifies actions is to bring back a resolution for the unwarranted all way stop, with crosswalks recommended by the Cardiff Gimp, Shyndler, and other Blakespear City Hall Engineering team.

Someday, the City of Encinitas will get a City Council that makes better decision than at a 11:30pm during a 9 Minute conversation with no public present after a 5 hour meeting and the Council explaining they wanted to go home.

  67. What is really alarming is that the city is still allowing the traffic engineers to continue with their deadly road designs. The intersection where Brodie was killed was on a "BACKLOG" to be replaced with a safe crosswalk. Had that safe infrastructure been completed as scheduled, Brodie would still be alive today. But, No, to this day, the engineering dept. has not done any of the planned infrastructure replacement to make that intersection safer. Additionally, the engineering dept. put a lower speed limit sign on ECR heading North, AFTER The Santa Fe Dr. traffic light, instead of putting it BEFORE the traffic light. The cars are still speeding up to the traffic light on Santa Fe Dr. at 55mph, just like the speeding van that killed Brodie. Are they insane - what is so difficult to understand that the lower speed limit and WARNING signs along ECR, need to be installed BEFORE the SFD stop light starting at Manchester.
