I am no fan of Gaspar's, but you can't disagree with the points she discusses. To qualify it, she is finding fault with other municipal organizations, while avoiding her own omissions as a political entity. Typical strategic posturing.
I thought it was an excellent interview, and that Kristin brought up relevant, important points about misplaced priorities and lack of divergence of opinion on the School Board.
Gaspar is branching out, as criticizing Robert's staffing scandal is a one trick pony and may go lame by November. This shows that she is aware of other issues and questions their feasibility. Her handlers are doing their job - making a political novice appear informed.
She's got three kids in Encinitas Uncion School District.
Baird is shady, conflicted, and a bully enabled by a rubber-stamp staff and Board of Trustees. Mo Muir was the only trustee capable of thinking for herself, and she's now on the San Dieguito school board.
I was impressed by the points she made. She doesn't need to be "spoon-fed." She's got three young children in the district. She can also get her information from the Coast News, or other local sources, just as we do.
There is no substance to your constant criticism, on a personal level. She makes good points on behalf of all the children, and their parents, as well as all of us taxpayers supporting them through the School District bond money, property taxes, in general, and the recent overpriced purchase of Pacific View.

DeleteIf it looks like an airhead and sounds like an airhead, it is an airhead!
ReplyDeleteAnd here we have a conversation between two airheads.

Delete4:16. MS. Gaspar unfortunately is a likeable fraud.
Delete1. Supported ex city manager getting an Xtra paycheck.
2. Sat by while city manager Vina spent 1 MILLION ON MIG
3. Voted and signed her name to untruths on the Prop A ballot statement.
4. Voted to raid $ 7 million from funded projects with no plan to pay it back.
5. Has left the road and infrastructure of Encinitas city streets failing.
She is not good for Encinitas or the county
4:44 I'll second that.
Delete4:44 PM What politicians hate - an informed citizen with a keen memory.
DeleteRobert's screwed himself with his past actions with staff. He should learn how to manage himself before ever holding a public office.
ReplyDeleteOnce a smiling twerpy Napoleon, always a twerpy Napoleon.
Roberts deserves the pounding he will take in November from Gaspar.
Go girl. Kick Napoleon's butt.
Won't happen.
DeleteGASpar has an uphill climb.
DeleteIf we don't challenge ourselves with some steep grades, we'll never build strength.
DeleteEven an oxygen mask wouldn't help Gaspar at those altitudes.
DeleteGaspar is on auto-pilot. She's battery-powered and remote-controlled.
ReplyDeleteA drone...
