Van Life Encinitas!

From the Inbox:
"Almost the friendliest van life town that I have been in in Southern California"

"Just full of stealth campers, van lifers"

"And they welcome it! They don't care that you spend the night here. There's one little area that there's a lot of people that sleep overnight in..."

If you don't have your own rig, you can always rent one.

We recall the council legalized camping in vehicles in order to start the Leichtag homeless parking lot. Did that apply to city streets as well?

  1. Put out fliers. directing them to Blakespear and Gonzales's neighborhoods for friendly parking accommodations. Speedy promises not to get a restraining order! And the Princess will register you to vote (for her). Quid pro quo is her middle name!

  2. Agreed. BIAspear and Kranz opened up, made it perfectly legal, advertised and encourages all the worlds homeless and van lifers to sleep in all the streets throughout Encinitas.

When you meet all of our wonderful new vanlifer neighbors tell them two spots that really love van lifer camps and provide free long term parking with no hassles in a really quiet setting.

Highest ranking spot for all Van Lifers and homeless - google - Rubenstein Drive, Cardiff, CA

If you love Leucadia and are tired of the beach scene in Cardiff head on over to sleepy stoned out old Leucadia - googlemap - Hygeia Avenue, Encinitas, CA. North of Leucadia Blvd.

Both places love the homeless. When your there, ask the neighbors for anything. They are the friendless to all and tell them the Mayor and Kranz sent you.

When can we start building 10 story buildings at Pacific View for the homeless from Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, LA, and Russia to start? We need to do more. Lets ask Mali - she seems to have all the answers on how we can provide affordable free housing to the world and keep all those racists out of here in RSF and not Encinitas. Whats next oh wonderful Mali?

    1. Oh equity equity. Mali only wants equity for her SEIU 'clients' at Scripps. She's all yelly about helping them but what about the people making the same dough on the 101 at the stores and restaurants. She doesn't give a rip about them because they don't have a union. SHAM artist

    2. Totally agree. All BS for her own personal $$$. Sad but true. Sham, Sham, Sham....

  3. Dang, she took the best online moniker out there. I wanted to be Space Monkey! So cool that she is in Encinitas and is telling everyone to come live here on our streets for free!

  4. Hell yeah - I can fit three RVs in front of my house. Time to collect some more rent! I may just park my mobile rental units up and down your street too. $$$$$. The one with the most units has the most $$$$$ and wins!

The housing options in Encinitas just exploded. The world's homeless problem is cured. Well done BIAspear and Kranz. You two are amazing!

  5. Hey now. Come on, there are just following the mayor's recommendation and welcoming message. Why the anger at our loving new neighbors?

I think you need to have a conversation with Mali. She will set you straight.

  6. * Come on. They are.....

  7. I see many Vlifers lining up along Vulcan Avenue where Kranz fenced of access to the coast and put up a free parking lot for homeless and all. Another win by our favorite Councilmember who is focused on destroying his district.

  8. Why does that woman have her tongue hanging out? Come to think of it, why do people do that? It looks absurd

  9. That's not her dad. It's her lover.

  10. Who is Colt Michael? No doubt patting himself on the back hard for coming up with a "one bedroom van rental." Friend of Kranz who told him yeah go make this city even more vibrant and don't worry about permits?

  11. Yes they can. They need their tires deflated.

  12. 4:24 - Ha, Ha... so good!

I say BIAspear and her lover, and Kranz and (well lets not go there).... can fuck off. They caused this mess.

    1. Tony's days may be numbered. Supposedly someone is throwing their hat into the mayoral ring who will cause all of these fauxgressive posers to suck wind.

    2. Good. Kranz has done immense harm to Leucadia with his focus on fencing off all coastal access, building parking lots for private properties along Vulcan Ave instead of a nice bike and pedestrian pathway like in Cardiff, and approving massive high density Section 8 housing in Leucadia.

Leucadia sure can pick them. Ha!

Kranzablabber needs to retire and go play checkers with Dalablabber.

  13. Circling downtown today no parking near everyone’s favorite bakery, none in lot behind Roxy, do businesses know how much they are losing with only the few spots available? Time for restaurants to give up half the street, otherwise this will be death to merchants.

    1. New restaurants were opened, with no consideration for parking. Housing is being jam-packed in, with no consideration for grid-lock overload in neighborhoods and ajoining roadways. Water and electricity rates are rising, as that is the method to force conservation. Blakespear hopes to exit the mess she has made and go to the State Senate, where she has a cushy job for life and can try to push more of her cock-eyed schemes.

    2. Next time walk, ride, or take Uber. No need to drive your own car downtown.

  14. A lot of people want to support local business, but the 101 is such a mess and such a hassle, it isn't worth it.

    1. Not really. It's great to hang out and chill the fun shops and restaurants. Next time walk, ride, or take Uber. No need to drive your own car downtown.

  15. What is Blakespear’s address?
    We should sent them there.

  16. Mali claims she can't afford a house here AND is having one built - which is it? Perhaps instead a van life on the move would work best for her - and us.

  17. Does anyone think for a second that this is anything other than an intentional election year stunt to paint the current councilmembers in a bad light? No one in their right mind would advertise their illegal activity like these two without an ulterior motive.

    1. Ummmmmm...NO. The mayor declared us a welcoming city and this is a result. This couple clearly do not think anything is illegal, nor does our city enforce the code so why would they?

Wakey wakey 11:02 this is our "soft touch" (Hinze quote) on violators. Go complain to her and you won't have these folks out there showcasing how badly this council is failing its residents. In other words, go bark up the right tree. Sheesh.

    2. 11:02 as usual blakespear's virtue signaling backfires. you are definitely blaming the messenger here the source of her bad optics is blakespear herself. Figure it the F out.

      Delete
    3. @11:02 I agree with you. This couple apparently lives in San Clemente or close. This story comes off as fishy, especially since that couple seems past the age to want to sleep in a car 50 miles or less from home. It's a "influencer" promotion where someone paid these guys for something controversial.

      Delete
    4. Nope. Logical outcome of the welcome squad's red carpet. van lifers are all over the place and this couple are hardly alone. Everyone's welcome. But do keep making the mayor's excuses and maybe you'll convince yourself.

    5. 1:31, you wish. I've never seen a group of people so interested in promoting and sharing exactly what you supposedly are trying to avoid. My guess is propaganda fail.

      Delete
    6. You are selling a conspiracy theory and you know how the mayor feels about that.

      Delete
    7. The only thing fishy about this is that 11:02 am smells like MWD.

      Delete
  18. And that 1:29 is MWD agreeing with herself.

  19. 8:54 and 8:58 are both right - that post DOES sound like Mali Wood-Drake. Anyone else hear the rumor that she's "being asked" to run for mayor? I say bring her ON.

    1. If she throws her name in the ring, who will Blakespear end up supporting?

    2. Mali, natch! She's too useful to her not to install in the most influential spot possible. Someone has to carry on the "let them eat cake" legacy. Who better than Mali?

      Delete
  20. OMG - I would love Mali to run for Mayor. Go Mali, Go Mali!

Can you just imagine the Encinitas Guerrilla posts?

That would be the best two years of the blogs life. Endless fun!

Get speedy G to run too! Double pleasure!

  21. and away they go! You think inflation and gas prices are high now? Ha! You ain't seen nothing yet.

Not to worry Congress has your back. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/congress-passes-15-trillion-spending-bill-avert-government-shutdown-pr-rcna19608

They just created 1.5 trillion of cash from thin air. Why didn't they just make it $3 trillion or $10 trillion? It's not like it matters or like anyone is ever really going to to pay for it.

The current population of the US is about 333,000,000. I say have congress approve a $5 trillion ($5,000,000,000,000) dollar spending program and give every US citizen (and maybe some illegals?) $15,000 each. That aught to stimulate the economy.

Or they can just transfer in $50,000 into everyones checking account like they did during COVID. Why even work? Just have Congress approve more and more funding out of thin air.

I think some congressman and City Council members need to take some economics and free-enterprise courses as the local community college. Lets get this party started and lets watch the coming collapse of the US dollar! Yewwwww!!
