NO. Cardiff and Leucadia will not get better treated by the city if they keep quiet. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Olivenhain gets better roads than C and L because the city leaders live there, but that will soon change as several city leaders will soon be wearing prison stripes....if we are lucky.
Note to Cardiff and Leucadia leaders....If you want any esthetic changes to your communities you will have to do them yourselves, with your own monies. Plant your own flowers, trees and brickabrack. The City of Encinitas has abandoned you. Plant your own flowers, trees, etc. Make it an oasis of beauty. Just don't expect any help from the council, they hate you.
Good question. I noticed the two craters just east of 5 on Leu Blvd were filled the other day, but drove down Hygeia & nearly fell off the road. Like driving in the Bahamas in the 80s.
That is the question I asked that got me started down the road to the road schedule lawsuit. Check it out on the Encinitas taxpayers blog.
The city engineers decided against making a map of the roads conditions and time to repaving, even though they spend godzillions on GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Want to bet if they mapped the conditions some people would be unhappy.
NO.

How does Public Works prioritize street repair? There should be a stated protocol..
