Please be aware there will be no COASTER or Amtrak rail service between Oceanside and San Diego this weekend, Jan. 28-29. This is a scheduled shutdown, one of several planned throughout the year to give crews safe access to do work that’s needed along the rail line.
It’s gonna be a good good weekend without all of that diesel cancer causing pollution from the empty death train.
Seems out of date and make it pollutes quite a bit…. The the federal government just issue a bunch of information to the public about how diesel causes cancer in children?
Why is the coaster so slow? and when I take itIt takes two hours to get anywhere close to the stations?
I would love to take the Coaster, but I hate polluting, and I hate spending all day trying to get somewhere that I could actually walk to faster than taking the train. Can you tell me how we can speed up the travel times of the coaster?
We all see no one is riding the coaster it’s empty . Can you tell me how the coaster could actually be a viable transportation alternative?
Tell that to NCTD, they are burning over one million gallons of dirty diesel over year on a ghost train with no riders but literally tons of air and massive DB heath destroying pollution.
OK. I guess if you don’t mind polluting and spewing diesel fumes all overc children, it’s a great alternative. Oh yeah and that’s if you don’t mind taking all day to go about 20 miles.
I think I’d rather walk. I’ll probably get there much faster than taking that slow diesel burning old technology and I get to be out in the sunshine instead of been some virus spreading piece of shit.
Youth development studies have shown that students need safe and healthy school environments to learn and thrive. This includes the way they get to school: school buses safely transport more than 25 million children every day across America. However, diesel exhaust from buses produces particulate matter and other pollutants that can cause lung damage and aggravate asthma and other health problems in children. In addition, diesel exhaust exposure has been linked to increased school absences. Moreover, many schools rely on outdated heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that may pose health risks to students and teachers. Studies also show that poor air quality inside classrooms hinders student concentration and performance, and can also increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission in schools, which can threaten the in-person learning experience for students. Reducing this pollution will provide better health and educational outcomes — particularly in low-income communities and communities of color that have long faced the highest burdens of pollution and underinvestment.
Nice! Clean cancer! Isn’t that what VW was pushing?
This is great, no need for solar, EV, and zero emissions vehicles…. Low grade Diesel is North County Transit Districts Future!

The opposite of the pollution known as the Coaster…. And that’s why no one is using it….
It will go away, it’s just a question of how how many hundreds of millions of tax dollars, and how much damage from the pullution will occur
Don’t engage stupid. Don’t ask it to look at the pollution rates on his “clean trains in Asia “. He is a few countries off on the mag lev trains in already very healthy countries. Maybe he is referring to N. Korea. Def use trains. Well dear leader uses 4 just to be safe. Train guy I think is train Karen. A man can’t actually be that “illuminated” about one subject? Right?
The un-informed bozo thinks electricity for the population is 50 percent generated by the sun???? "What planet is the bozo living on" The bozo no doubt thinks "man made global warming is real". The great thing about thinkers such as this is, it give the rest of us something to laugh at.
I love taking the Coaster downtown. You can have a day or night out on the town without dealing w/traffic, cars, congestion, the huge hike in gas prices by our current idiot politicians. Plus you don’t have to deal with the bad parking down there. You can shop, and eat stress free. You can have a couple drinks with out worrying about driving. Do you love the pollution and cancer causing diesel being inhaled by our children as the pollution if coaster blows by Cardiff Elementary and Paul Ecke Central 30 times a day?
Glad you like the pollution and damage to mother earth.
Has anybody ever seen a sheriff in Encinitas other than dealing with all the drunks that come to Tony Kranz‘s vibrant drunkfest downtown?
I think councils direction has been to send whatever a few sheriffs we have to patrol downtown to try and maintain order due to drunks causing havoc and drug rape in the downtown area.
Yo Marco take a break from your embarrassingly juvenile fight with the 3 in 1 poster on Encinitas Uncensored. Check yer kid riding several abreast across an entire lane holding hands with his buddies holding up traffic by your street. Helmets unbuckled to boot. Priorities.
Awesome, teens being teens! I bet they were smiling and having fun too. The traffic is already horrific so I highly doubt seeing kids being kids made you lose much time. But yea, safety.
I have to agree w 7:56- cut teens some slack…. They were fucked for 3 years by Newsom and the whole woke community that shut down the schools for 2 years.
If anyone thinks our city or our local transit district can do anything about the train traffic, you are a moron. The FRA holds all the power over their property to do with as they see fit.
Mother Nature could be our only hope for relief. Railing on Tony or Jerome in the past, or Hinze now accomplishes nothing. They have no power. The FRA would never give up any power to run as many trains as they want with the new double tracking coming our way.
Our daily repetitive train guy is pissing into the wind and guess where that goes? All over him. A little reality from him would be a good thing for him, and for us too. I doubt he can grasp the reality this community has been in and will be in. Mother Nature is our only hope. The train guy is talking through his whatever. Nothing will change train guy and when it does, thee will be many more trains daily. Lower the tracks to end the division of our community. This will do nothing for the pollution unless there were some collectors of some sort like what underground garages have to provide. Practical? probably not. What else you got?
FRA has no control over the Coaster service. That service is 100% NCTD control.
Kranz as Chair promoted and approve 30% increased service/pollution/noise and led the fencing which was 100% NCTD. All while ridership was tanking and now only 1000 riders a day use the Coaster in all of north county. That is a pathetically low number. Subsidy per rider are greater than $50 per passenger. That’s right- it cost the taxpayers $50 plus for every passenger that takes the coaster. And the damage to the environment is large, considering the locomotives Burn cancer-causing diesel..
You must make your revenue tied to the diesel burning locomotives or something. On the weekend you’re probably one of those that ride the straight-pipe motorcycle too. some idiots love making noise but it’s funny that they then put ear plugs in.
No worries. We know we’re not going to convince you. We will just do what makes logical sense, stop the waist, and stop the pollution.
7:58- absolutely wrong. tracks on the beach do make sense and are not economically viable.
If there are going to be train tracks on the West Coast it’ll be more like in the alignment of the I 15 corridor, which is the tentative alignment for the high-speed rail.
Logical connection from the I 15 corridor will be at Miramar which has existing railroad tracks and then would follow the existing track to downtown San Diego.
It would bypass the highly eroding areas of Del Mar, Encinitas, and lagoons and the erosion issues in the San Onofre and San Clemente area.
Some of you train buffs do not know your head from a diesel exhaust pipe. Seems like maybe too much inhalation of diesel fumes. 😢
I pulled a gun on a trespasser last year. They contacted the Sheriffs Dept and the lads where here quickly. I was in the right. The trespasser, lucky to drive away.
Learn from SD mistakes. Encinitas must demand the Dunce give up his favorite Karens's Klub Finger Painting at PV and use the $30 million + millions in ongoing operations and maintenance costs for other needed infrastructure like fixing our streets. We will let Tony add his name on a plaque at our existing art center/community center building on Balour Street down at the homeless parking lot. That seems appropriate.
How about it June and Dianne? Speak some common sense into these idiots.
Street paving costs also rose sharply, from $430 million to $987 million. City officials said a key driver was inflation, with the city revising the estimated cost per mile of pavement overlay from $800,000 to $1.5 million.
Costs for stormwater projects, which include flood prevention and efforts to boost water quality, increased from $1.4 billion to $2.1 billion — the highest cost of any city infrastructure need.
This great news but puts a major twist in the whole - we need to build endless houses for developers profit, oh shit, did I say that..... I meant so we can build "affordable housing projects" because every one of those 8 billion people in the world have the right and should be your newest neighbors according to the Dunce.
San Diego’s median home price ends year almost $100K off its peak. There we go. Home prices are dropping off a cliff. They better change their mantra to something like,
Encinitas is too nice compared to other shitty areas of SD and the world. We must spit out cheap boxes and cram people together and block out natural sun light to help people lower there standards of loving nature and love staying in concrete towers more.
Tony Kranz's New mantra - Lets lower Encinitas Quality of Life - Blight is more sustainable. Blight is Right! Encinitas.
The median home price was $756,000 in December, CoreLogic reported Thursday. That’s down from the record-high $850,000 reached in May. The median includes all single-family homes, townhouses, condos and is a mix of new and resale homes.
It’s not just prices that are declining. Sales are off, too.
Go Tony- Continue to destroy Encinitas and you will be helping everyone afford a home in Encinitas. Yes everyone of the 8 billion people in the world. You are a smart man. Do not listen to the citizens of Encinitas who saved money to buy a house in Encinitas. Now everyone should live here for free!
We are not in a recession. The media jumped on the red fear bandwagon that we were headed to or already in a recession. But the data (pesky facts) is that the economy continues to grow.
Does the image of vultures come to anyones mind when realtors are having a financial setback? It is tough to sympathize with these birds of prey in our midst.
7:36 In the over all scheme of things, it probably doesn’t matter, what her various name aliases are, as that’s the least of her crimes. The main topic someone introduced above in this current thread, is “Birds of Prey.” And Nut Bird was a name she was given awhile back by the EU community. So the reference seems quite fitting!
7:59- I'd be curious about Nut Birds crimes you mention. I know she lost her license, but the way you say it makes me wonder what crimes she has committed?
7:59 There is no “community,” there is just you, Garvin Walsh who loves making up juvenile names for people. The “Larri” bit is disgraced Jerome. No doubt you two have made fast friends.
I am no Garvin Lehman Brothers loser fan for sure. I can not stand anything I have ever heard from that tool. And he campaigned for Kranz. Major damage to Encinitas.
I wanted to say something, but now I forgot. Guess I had better let up on these gummies. But EU is really funny when stoned. Try it and see what I mean.
10:00- I wouldn't fuck Garvin if I was offered a million dollars. And it would take at least 2 million for me to even consider fucking the Town Dunce. How did we get so lucky to have Garvin move to our town? Was this the furthest he could get away from the East Coast where he has several complaints against him?
de train...de train !!!! as the mentally challenged diesel hating creatin awakes each morning, their mission is to derail the train. That same train that travels the 100 year old tracks that was there long before the creatin was born. You see, said creatin as it turns out, hates not only trains but diesel powered everything. Faming Tractors, the semi that brings food your grocer that feeds your children and construction equipment that makes access to broken pipes, fixing electric lines and all other heavy work. These, are the devil in disguise, out to kill you and everything you've worked for. Let the gawds protect you from the evil diesel.
OMG- Thats the best NCTD can do for an argument- to keep the old slow polluting technology that no-one is using?
...reference to a sitcom and talk of nostalgia about the better times of the past when you needed to go to the bank to cash c $5 checks, you didn't mind spending 3 hours to travel 15 miles, and you didn't have that nagging mobile phone in your pocket. Plus you could hang out by the bus stop and train station and suck in all that glorious black smoke and wonder why you always have cloud around your brain, and your children had red eyes.
Yeah. The good old times. Way to go NCTD. 😂
For the rest of us logical people we see a much better choice. 💯
....the Coaster experienced 6 years of ridership decline prior to the pandemic. Today, the 10-year NCTD forecast for the Coaster shows ridership levels in 2031 still down by over 80% from 2019 already-low levels. The 168,261 figure translates to just 460 riders per day. Remote/flex work trends and the move to autonomous vehicles and mass transit on the highways will present serious longer term challenges.
21 daily riders per mile of track is incredibly low Amtrak Surfliner ridership levels are even worse than the Coaster.
This line is 350 miles long, stretching from San Diego to San Luis Obispo. In 2019, it had 2,776,654 riders, down 6% from 2,946,239 in 2018. That is an average of only 7,607 daily riders for a 350 mile line. That translates to an astoundingly low rate of 21 riders per mile per day.
The only Amtrak line that is economical is the line in the northeast corridor, running from Washington D.C. to Boston. Amtrak, the NCTD, and SANDAG will often make statements about the San Diego-LA rail corridor, describing it as "the second busiest" in the country, with no other context. It may be the second busiest, but that is only because all but the northeast corridor suffer from incredibly low ridership numbers. The Surfliner and most Amtrak trains aren't fast or inexpensive. It takes 3 hours to go 120 miles from San Diego to LA (excluding time to get to and from station) and costs $35 one way.
The technological disruption has already occurred.
The Coaster is toast, as is should be, considering no-one is using it. Its merely just a matter of how many billions of dollars that taxpayers want to spend on an highly polluting service that is extremely damaging not only to the environment but also the publics efforts to provide equitable clean mobility options to its citizens.
Pleas consider supporting the below cause and get out into nature and enjoy the peacefulness today.
We have a powerful case to make. We are requesting the NCTD or SANDAG board to fund a comparative analysis of the tracks as a trail, with current usage shifted to the highway. Advocacy will focus on the board members of the NCTD and SANDAG, council members of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, County Supervisors, and our local representatives for state and national Congress. Let's do this!
Train brain is going to be bummed when he learns a lot of US manufacturing is moving from China to Mexico. A lot of those goods will be moving right through town, on both tracks.
The rail has major issues and 99.9% of all the humans and goods are transported through our highway system in San Diego n cleaner, more equitable, and more efficient ways.
10:08- please read the referenced link and get informed.
The rail has major issues and 99.9% of all the humans and goods are transported through our highway system in San Diego in cleaner, more equitable, and more efficient ways.
12:20 how in gawds creation do you think? Tax dollars? Huh? You probably believe in man made global warming and the lies algore has been telling for 4 decades. Wake up and die right.
Dear Train Guy, You seem to be the only one fighting the anti train fight. Why don’t you move to greener pastures, both physically and figuratively? I’m sure you’d be much happier. I don’t expect many people are on this blog. So you’re wasting valuable time and energy. Does anyone have any idea how many people actually read Encinitas Undercover?
12:08 - Many of us work at City Hall, and I can tell you over 90% of the staff and I bet 100% of the Councilmembers and Commissioners follow EU closely.
I'm not sure how many residents follow the blog, but rest assure from the comments I get from people that come in to City Hall its much greater than 8.
I have to say, its my go to for finding out the latest happening in Encinitas. Not always the most pleasant comments but some great information and occasional good humor.
11:41- I feel bad for you. May you find happiness in your life
There’s so many dark things in reading your comments. Why would you assume I’m a guy is beyond me. I reads like you are a misogynist and think women are not intelligent
I think you need to watch the conversations between Terry Gassyerland and your town dunce Tony Kranz. Terry is highly intelligent and educated. She speaks logical points and has logical recommendations.
Your Town dunce, not so much. He is actually rude and talks down to Terry Gaasterland.
I’m glad you think only 6 to 8 people are on this blog. Hence you can leave and not worry about it.
The rest of us will carry-on, and enjoy the blog.
Let’s connect in a year or two and see where we’re at with the Coaster, shall we?
If I was a betting woman, I would place the odds that the Coaster service will either be greatly reduce, or eliminate it within two years. The pollution and extreme waste of tax dollars is unsustainable.
Yet your town dunce continues to waste tax dollars every chance he gets.
Listen to the dunce shut down other board members comments when they are making common sense suggestions that Kranz does not appreciate, then watch probably the smartest Democrat in San Diego, Terry Gaasterdand absolutely school Kranz and point out what a complete fool he really is.
Watch 8 minutes of NCTD meeting Min 1:23:00 through 1:31.
• Kranz manages to explain that north county residents are entitled to their TRANSNET tax dollars, yet he then voted against his own comments earlier this month at SANDAG and completely against the smart logical comments from Terry Gaasterland.
• Kranz neglect his duties as chair and the brown act and rudely and unprofessionally shuts down other board members comments when they are making common sense suggestions that Kranz does not agree,
• then watch probably the smartest Democrat in San Diego, Terry Gaasterdand absolutely school Kranz and point out what a complete fool Encinitas Councilmember really is.
- this is why 53% of Encinitas are against this Dunce
Your comments prove you did not watch the video. You sound like a sniveling whiny little ignorant brat. Please stay in Leucadia we don’t want you in Cardiff. 🖕
I watched the video and I like what Terry said, and detest Town Dunce Tony. So we agree on that. But I don’t like you, the chronic Train complain-er. And since you don’t identify as Train “guy,” I think we’ll go w/another posters idea of ‘Train Brain. After all you have a one “track” mind/brain that often de “rails” off topics.
7:31- Then quit reading the posts, you slow polluting diesel train lover. And stop with your ridiculous repetitive posts.
The rest of us support projects that we would like our city to complete and the Coaster, NCTD, and SANDAG are using hundreds of millions of dollars on this polluting waste that is not available for other needs.
The sooner the Coaster is stopped, the sooner these other needed projects can happen.
- Please be a local hero and cut Tony’s fence and restore ancient historic pathways.
I watch the video link and loved everything that councilmember Gaasterland said and felt sad for the Encinitas residents, listening to their babbling Kranz who is appropriately labeled as the Dunce. She’s appropriately schooled that fool.
Also went to the web link for the Costa Real trail project. Absolutely amazing. 💯👍
1:59pm. If you were a betting man/woman? The Coaster train will be history in a couple of years? Only if the tracks spectacularly fail would you be even close. Mother Nature is the only way you could be on the right track.
Anyone take the bet that the railroad makes money whether or not they lose ridership in the next two years?
There is such a thing as federal government subsidies that keep them smiling all the way to the bank. Poor train guy. Your tax dollars are supporting the same trains that you abhor every freaking day. Ain't life grand?
6:30 p.m. It’s apparent that train guy/girl (6:58) doesn’t have a reasonable train of thought. He/his/him, she/hers/her,😂 has seven trains on 4 tracks that narrowly avoid each other when the paths cross and all the conductors are screaming.
11:40 Agreed. The fact he only came out just now, after a few months of being called ‘train guy’ and only now says he’s “not a guy” doesn’t jive. When some switched to ‘Train Girl,’ he still complained! Since he thinks that’s so bad, we should come up with an ‘actual bad name’ and give him something legitimate to whine about!
Well, good morning EU….
ReplyDeleteI see you finally woke up out of your stupor.

DeleteYup… big time polluting and cancer causing the White House administration publishes facts on this all the time.
DeleteWhite House ???? where the brain buffoon biden lives?

Stop the inequity and fight for social justice. Stop the pollution, known as the Coaster.

DeleteWe do not travel from US to Asia via steamship for a reason a technological disruption call jet travel change human travel behavior….
People do not use horse and buggy, or train to go across the US, same technology disruption - jets and cars.
Diesel fix rail slow commuter trains are not a desirable alternative obviously. Ridership has been tanking since 2015 because it does not work.
Less than 1% of commuters use that outdated polluting slow option yet it causes major damage and wastes precious tax dollars.
We can do better. Contact your Councilmember today and tell them to support stopping the pollution called the Coaster.
10:40...should we get rid of diesel trucks? how bout' tractors for farming? You clown

DeleteI have to agree w 7:56- cut teens some slack…. They were fucked for 3 years by Newsom and the whole woke community that shut down the schools for 2 years.
DeleteIf anyone thinks our city or our local transit district can do anything about the train traffic, you are a moron. The FRA holds all the power over their property to do with as they see fit.
ReplyDeleteMother Nature could be our only hope for relief.
Wrong. You prove you’re a complete idiot.
DeleteFRA has no control over the Coaster service.
We will stop the wasteful and polluting Coaster.
guys get a room you're wasting valuable electrons
Delete5:24- weird comment. You’re kind of a freak. No thank you
Delete4pm nails it. You're going to see more trains on this route, not less, Coaster or no Coaster....
Delete7:58- absolutely wrong. tracks on the beach do make sense and are not economically viable.
DeleteIf there are going to be train tracks on the West Coast it’ll be more like in the alignment of the I 15 corridor, which is the tentative alignment for the high-speed rail.
Get a room.
Delete10:56- Get an education.
DeleteEducate yourself that your repetitiveness has become annoying. Figure it out.
DeleteYou always say that. You must make $$$ on the polluting Coaster.
DeleteFor the rest of us tax paying north county residents this is a big deal.
Millions of mismanaged tax dollars, literally tons and tons of pollution, and it’s killing our children and damaging are public health.
It’s not a small issue.
I pulled a gun on a trespasser last year. They contacted the Sheriffs Dept and the lads where here quickly.
ReplyDeleteI was in the right. The trespasser, lucky to drive away.
6:16 Yaa, really! TraIn guy tries to take over and dominate every thread he can. It’s exhausting! Way worse than any “exhaust” from diesel fuel!
ReplyDeleteAre you gonna say the same thing like 100 more times?
DeleteYou are so repetitive.
ReplyDeletePlease lGet training in solar or something besides polluting the world..
My God, the same thing.
ReplyDelete6:53- figures. Because you’re an idiot, that’s probably making money on diesel burning locomotives.
ReplyDeleteLearn from SD mistakes.
ReplyDeleteHow about it June and Dianne? Speak some common sense into these idiots.
Street paving costs also rose sharply, from $430 million to $987 million. City officials said a key driver was inflation, with the city revising the estimated cost per mile of pavement overlay from $800,000 to $1.5 million.
Costs for stormwater projects, which include flood prevention and efforts to boost water quality, increased from $1.4 billion to $2.1 billion — the highest cost of any city infrastructure need.
https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/politics/story/2023-01-27/san-diego-infrastructure-funding-gap-surges-past-5-billion
This great news but puts a major twist in the whole - we need to build endless houses for developers profit, oh shit, did I say that..... I meant so we can build "affordable housing projects" because every one of those 8 billion people in the world have the right and should be your newest neighbors according to the Dunce.
ReplyDeleteSan Diego’s median home price ends year almost $100K off its peak.
Now everyone should live here for free!
https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/business/story/2023-01-26/san-diegos-median-home-price-has-nearly-dropped-100k-in-8-months
Wow home prices are falling off the cliff. Down 13% and this is just the beginning..
ReplyDeleteJust imagine how low they’re gonna go in 2 to 3 years. I’m predicting 34% correction from the high in May 2022.
So they called the last recession, the great recession…. What is this one’s going to be called?
They’re really really great recession?
Affordable housing, great recession?
How about the sustainable, smart, great recession?
No matter what you call it, a rose is a 🌹, or a depression is a depression.
Hold on folks. This next decade it’s going to be a doozy.
We are not in a recession. The media jumped on the red fear bandwagon that we were headed to or already in a recession. But the data (pesky facts) is that the economy continues to grow.
ReplyDeleteOK. Keep telling yourself that. I got a great idea go out and buy a house today for asking price maybe at Fox point. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Delete2:02 buys investments and real estate that can only ever go up.
DeleteIf anything declines in value—even temporarily—then someone else is to blame, because 2:02 is a victim.
But Kim Morris just told me it’s a great time to buy. Who should I believe?
DeleteFor sure, the penguin is solid!!
DeleteThe new paint job on the Leucadia 101 asphalt is very distracting and confusing.
ReplyDeleteI love the gravel and debris filled bike lanes.
DeleteCan the City do anymore to get sued?
Has anyone called the City on this. It’s a mess. I don’t live in Leucadia but if I did I’d get a phone bank going and call every half hour.
DeleteIt is so peaceful and quiet out today.
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome when the Coaster does not run. The city should end the polluting noise racket known as the empty Coaster.
Everything in life is better when the Coaster is not running. Thank you City for the peaceful weekend. ❤️🙏
Cyclovia was so amazing I came twice. Once at the event in my spandex. And then again when I got home to a picture of Tony’s feet.
ReplyDeleteOoooo Cylcoviaaaaa
DeleteWas Tony wearing spandex? 😍
And did he actually show his amazing toes👅…. Tummies…
Yummieeeee
DeleteLOL…. The humor on the site is getting so good.. 🫶🏾
DeleteDoes the image of vultures come to anyones mind when realtors are having a financial setback? It is tough to sympathize with these birds of prey in our midst.
ReplyDeleteBut alas, the worst ‘Bird of Prey’ of All, is ‘Nutbird Lorri Green.’
ReplyDelete🤣
DeleteIs it Nutbird Lorri Green or Nutbird Larri Green?
Deleteand Does it really matter?
7:36 In the over all scheme of things, it probably doesn’t matter, what her various name aliases are, as that’s the least of her crimes. The main topic someone introduced above in this current thread, is “Birds of Prey.” And Nut Bird was a name she was given awhile back by the EU community. So the reference seems quite fitting!
ReplyDeleteTouché …. Very well played.👊
Delete7:59- I'd be curious about Nut Birds crimes you mention. I know she lost her license, but the way you say it makes me wonder what crimes she has committed?
Delete9:19 Thank You😉😊
ReplyDelete7:59 There is no “community,” there is just you, Garvin Walsh who loves making up juvenile names for people. The “Larri” bit is disgraced Jerome. No doubt you two have made fast friends.
ReplyDeleteOK. Whatever your mind wants to think is fine in Anon land.
DeleteHave at it.... I personally like the current fresh trends (truth) and humor happening on EU. 👏🏽
Oh also 9:50 -
DeleteI am no Garvin Lehman Brothers loser fan for sure. I can not stand anything I have ever heard from that tool. And he campaigned for Kranz. Major damage to Encinitas.
Fuck Garvin.
I wanted to say something, but now I forgot. Guess I had better let up on these gummies. But EU is really funny when stoned. Try it and see what I mean.
Delete10:00- I wouldn't fuck Garvin if I was offered a million dollars. And it would take at least 2 million for me to even consider fucking the Town Dunce. How did we get so lucky to have Garvin move to our town? Was this the furthest he could get away from the East Coast where he has several complaints against him?
DeleteGarvin + Julie = Kranz
Delete4:23 = Truth = Encinitas got 🔨☠️
Deletede train...de train !!!! as the mentally challenged diesel hating creatin awakes each morning, their mission is to derail the train.
ReplyDeleteThat same train that travels the 100 year old tracks that was there long before the creatin was born.
Delete...reference to a sitcom and talk of nostalgia about the better times of the past when you needed to go to the bank to cash c $5 checks, you didn't mind spending 3 hours to travel 15 miles, and you didn't have that nagging mobile phone in your pocket.
21 daily riders per mile of track is incredibly low
Amtrak Surfliner ridership levels are even worse than the Coaster.

ReplyDelete10:08- please referenced link and get informed.
DeleteThe rail has major issues and 99.9% of all the humans and goods are transported through our highway system in San Diego n cleaner, more equitable, and more efficient ways.
Ignorance is no excuse.
Cleaning up a few typos:
ReplyDelete10:08- please read the referenced link and get informed.
The rail has major issues and 99.9% of all the humans and goods are transported through our highway system in San Diego in cleaner, more equitable, and more efficient ways.
Sorry. Ignorance is no excuse. 😌
10:16 like diesel powered trucks?????
Delete10:41- I hope you find bliss in your ignorance.
DeleteThe rest of us are blessed as we evolve and do something much more positive for the Earth with the tax dollars.
12:20 how in gawds creation do you think? Tax dollars?
DeleteHuh? You probably believe in man made global warming and the lies algore has been telling for 4 decades. Wake up and die right.
As usual Train Guy de ’Rail’ ed us again!
ReplyDelete11:05 - Freaking misogynist. Get a life, and you jokes suck like you.
DeleteDear Train Guy,
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be the only one fighting the anti train fight. Why don’t you move to greener pastures, both physically and figuratively? I’m sure you’d be much happier. I don’t expect many people are on this blog. So you’re wasting valuable time and energy. Does anyone have any idea how many people actually read Encinitas Undercover?
6-8, at most
Delete11:14- You’re so off. You’re a sad joke.
Delete12:08 - Many of us work at City Hall, and I can tell you over 90% of the staff and I bet 100% of the Councilmembers and Commissioners follow EU closely.
DeleteI'm not sure how many residents follow the blog, but rest assure from the comments I get from people that come in to City Hall its much greater than 8.
I have to say, its my go to for finding out the latest happening in Encinitas. Not always the most pleasant comments but some great information and occasional good humor.
12:08, Hard to imagine that it’s only 6-8 people?! If true, that means we’re ALL wasting our breath! 😲. Where did you come up with that number?
ReplyDeleteThe whole point of this site is to waste a lot of breath. No once cares what happens here.
Delete1:33- I can’t say we’re gonna miss your useless comments.
Delete11:41- I feel bad for you. May you find happiness in your life
ReplyDeleteThere’s so many dark things in reading your comments.
Watch 8 minutes of NCTD meeting Min 1:23:00 through 1:31.
https://www.youtube.com/live/FhuaLlaxfeA?feature=share&t=4959
DeleteLOL
Absolutely. And the world is flat.
ReplyDeleteI watched the video and I like what Terry said, and detest Town Dunce Tony. So we agree on that. But I don’t like you, the chronic Train complain-er. And since you don’t identify as Train “guy,” I think we’ll go w/another posters idea of ‘Train Brain. After all you have a one “track” mind/brain that often de “rails” off topics.
ReplyDelete7:31- Then quit reading the posts, you slow polluting diesel train lover. And stop with your ridiculous repetitive posts.
DeleteThe rest of us support projects that we would like our city to complete and the Coaster, NCTD, and SANDAG are using hundreds of millions of dollars on this polluting waste that is not available for other needs.
The sooner the Coaster is stopped, the sooner these other needed projects can happen.
- Please be a local hero and cut Tony’s fence and restore ancient historic pathways.
The Coaster is countywide, genius.
DeleteI watch the video link and loved everything that councilmember Gaasterland said and felt sad for the Encinitas residents, listening to their babbling Kranz who is appropriately labeled as the Dunce. She’s appropriately schooled that fool.
ReplyDeleteAlso went to the web link for the Costa Real trail project. Absolutely amazing. 💯👍
https://coaster-rail-to-trail.org/
Please help us spread the word! 🙏
Wacky Dan "I live by the Railroad in Del Mar" Quirk in the house!!!!
ReplyDelete1:59pm. If you were a betting man/woman? The Coaster train will be history in a couple of years? Only if the tracks spectacularly fail would you be even close. Mother Nature is the only way you could be on the right track.
ReplyDeleteAnyone take the bet that the railroad makes money whether or not they lose ridership in the next two years?
There is such a thing as federal government subsidies that keep them smiling all the way to the bank. Poor train guy. Your tax dollars are supporting the same trains that you abhor every freaking day. Ain't life grand?
11:43 Yep! Train Brain Guy/Gal or whatever he identifies as, is clearly confused. His brain is off the Rail. He, she, it, is a complete Rail Fail!
ReplyDelete4:40- Ok. 1st grader… you get a D on your first try to bully.
ReplyDeleteFace it, you’re a big pussy. 💯
6:58pm Is that bullying? My, my how sensitive you are. Aren't you special?
ReplyDelete6:30 p.m. It’s apparent that train guy/girl (6:58) doesn’t have a reasonable train of thought. He/his/him, she/hers/her,😂 has seven trains on 4 tracks that narrowly avoid each other when the paths cross and all the conductors are screaming.
ReplyDeleteTrue dat. His train mania indicates more than the train is to blame for his declining mental abilities.
ReplyDeleteThere is an aggressive component to the train persons ravings that sound more testosterone than estrogen derived.
ReplyDelete11:40 Agreed.
ReplyDelete
