Coast News letters:
Recent events in social justice demonstrate that the powerful shall eventually be held to task. Ghislaine Maxwell, Harvey Weinstein, even Ellen DeGeneres’ show what we discover when we listen to victims.
The mayor of Encinitas, Catherine Blakespear, should be held to the same standards of scrutinization.
A lawsuit filed against City of Encinitas alleges that Fire Marshal Anita Pupping was dismissed in September 2019 because she stood by concerns that “Streetscape” — the $50 million debt-driven plan to turn Highway 101 through Leucadia into a pedestrian zone — threatens public safety to the community that surrounds it.
Here's the lawsuit.
Would you be surprised if I told you that sometimes claims in lawsuit filings are not found to be true?
ReplyDeleteWould it surprise you if I told you that the legal complaint EU linked to doesn’t seem to contain the word “Blakespear?”
Whatever you say, Marco.
DeleteMarco,

Up
You're interests blow where ghe cash flows and you have zero integrity.
We call them chumps in the old hood.
In the old hood if chumps didn't repent their faces were smashed.
Just sayin
Would it surprise you that Marco is earning his retainer fee?
ReplyDeletemarco trying thug intimidation posting plaintiff's pic on EV. such a sad, sad tool. the mayor must be very proud of their uhhh association.
ReplyDelete5:26 - lol but the dude cannot for the life of him stfu. it's a disorder.
It really makes you wonder what unsuspecting client accounts Marco (allegedly) pads with the hours he spends coming to the defense of Blakespear and her cabal.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see if Thunder and Turney, er I mean "Encinitas Undercover" will post the story behind Encinitas Forward. On one hand it's just the sort of bullshit drama their campaign is based upon, on the other hand it will further expose Thunder as being a Republican. Oh what to do, what to do!
ReplyDeleteI don't care if Thunder and Turney are french (wink wink), I'll still vote for them in a split second. It's astonishing that some of these posters (hi Marco) think the use of these "gotcha" outing tactics matter to voters. Hold the intelligence of voters in contempt and you'll find yourself living in an Encinitas with an effective council majority absent the feckless incumbents.
DeleteHe holds anyone in contempt who disagrees with him. His arguments flip between not too coherent and full-on bloviate. Certain EV posters seem to enjoy poking and it's almost always good entertainment.
DeletePolo.
DeleteIt's not a "gotcha" tactic. Thunder is actively trying to pretend she's not a Republican. She's LYING. People need to know.
DeletePOLO!
ReplyDelete(“Marco” isn’t a cogent argument.)
Yes, Blakespear should be held to the same standards of scrutiny.
ReplyDeleteMARCO GONZALES is a CLOWN!
ReplyDeleteA money grubber, who is a camp dog - whoever has the meat on the grill. Marco is their lap dog.
DeletePolo.
DeleteI would love to see the City's response to this complaint. If any part of it is true, then City get out your checkbook and find a new Fire Chief. Good Luck Mrs. Pudding.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to wait until the trial documents when they bring in all the personnell stuff.
ReplyDeleteM'okay I thought MG would just tell us all the inside dope right here right now. Why wait?
DeleteIt will all come out at trial...
DeleteIf this woman was treated so badly...then why was hired for the position in the first place? Somethin' doesn't add up.
ReplyDeleteOf course once lawyers get involved all of a sudden the world is falling apart. Nothing new for the drama queens of law school
In my opinion, Marco Gonzales has loss all credibility!
ReplyDeleteHe continues to implode over on EV, which reminds me it's time to buy more popcorn.
DeletePolo!
DeleteAngry feminist and lesbian starts a war against single family homes. Sen. President Pro Tem Toni Atkins, (San Diego), introduced a bill forcing forcing duplexes into single-family neighborhoods that can be rented or sold.
ReplyDeleteThe bill allows investors to subdivide their property in single-family neighborhoods and build duplexes “as long as the units meet existing community standards,” Atkins said at a committee hearing.
orientation has nothing to do with it unless you mean love for the greenbacks. the wife has a finger in the stack n'pack pie, too. it's a family business!!
DeleteOT -
ReplyDeleteLet's make no mistake what is at stake in this local election.
what is at stake is that if you continue to vote in marxists and fascists like Ms. Blakespear and her cohorts your beautiful pricey beach town of Encinitas will become much like what we are seeing in Kenosha WI.
You don't believe this?
OK suit yourself but the facts are all around you beginning with but not limited to this Mayor not only approving but leading and encouraging these violent destructive types from out of town to have their protests in your city hall parking lot.
Mostly peaceful protests will undoubtedly become full streets being burned to the ground in and around city hall and other nice locations.
Go ahead and doubt it.
You'll regret the day you cast your vote the day your property is ashes
Can you be both a marxist and a facist? The outfits don't match...
ReplyDelete^^underrated comment.
DeletePeople throw around terms they don't understand to scare people who also don't understand them...
DeleteMostly peaceful protests
ReplyDeleteIN response to 8:24, Blakespear has hired Atkins wife Jennifer LeSar to do the Homeless Action Plan. There are ample articles online going back for years about this conflict of interest presented by Atkins and LeSar. Blakespear is using OUR tax funds to hire someone in hopes of garnering a favor later on. Disgusting!
ReplyDelete"Angry feminist and lesbian starts a war against single family homes. Sen. President Pro Tem Toni Atkins, (San Diego), introduced a bill forcing forcing duplexes into single-family neighborhoods that can be rented or sold."
atkins backing nearly all-male war declaration. knock off the gender crap and you might get through to people.
DeleteWhatever you say, Margo.
DeleteBlakespears far left cohorts: Burn that sh*t down!
ReplyDeleteBlakespears followers: No, no no - she said let's go burn one
If you think you can politely stop Leftism in its current form, you are so naive that you’re a danger to yourself and others.
City installing art at Santa Fe underpass. The usual nonsense, a surfer, a palm tree, a beach scene, a skateboarder, etc, etc. IT'S ALL BEEN DONE A THOUSAND TIMES!!
ReplyDeleteBlakespear you spend money on CRAP ART bur NO MONEY ON THE STREETS. FIX THE STREETS!!
I’M MAD ABOUT ART!!!!!!!!
Delete2:50-Go burn something you'll feel better.
Delete6:44am Thanks for resurrecting the "margo" appellation. It so fits. Any reference to this piece of work should use this from now on.
ReplyDeleteWe can thank the Enc. Guerrilla for the perfect take off on our local black knight loudmouth.
Hey Margo, you earned coverage by our Enc. Guerrilla. Too bad it won't serve to change your behavior.
Pogo!
DeleteHahaha, clever.
DeleteAnother lawsuit against the city - the families of the 3 women killed late last year when the bluff in Leucadia collapsed on them.
ReplyDeleteThey are suing everyone but God (they couldn't serve him the summons).
Hey as long as it's not developers suing the mayor is one happy girl.
DeleteThe way the lawsuit is stated, all of the coastline is susceptible to the same limitations. It cites drainage, irrigation, development, non-native plant species, awareness of potential of slippage, etc. It is so wide reaching, the only way to avoid being sued is to have the land totally untouched by man and have no ownership.
DeleteThis is silly.
DeleteI’m sorry for their loss. It was a tragic accident. Emphasis on accident.
If they got hit by lightning, they’d die because the city hasn’t installed a dome of lightning rods with a copper mesh over the city.
Personal responsibility and freak accidents are dead concepts if this isn’t tossed out.
Welcome to legal-land, where it’s always somebody else’s fault, and you always deserve millions.
