Lorri then joined in a conversation on Progressive Unity where she taunted people about deleting them in real time, despite the fact that they were not actively part of any recent conversation on EV.
Then over the course of several weeks, she made several vague posts about the changes coming soon, that they would be huge and people might not like them.
The changes NEVER HAPPENED.
She does this periodically. Gets excited, flails her arms about and hollers "changes are coming!"
No changes.
I suspect her age has something to do with it and I mean no disrespect when I say that. She often does not understand why some of her own posts are in all caps, her responses to people's comments are sometimes off the mark and show that she did not fully grasp their point.
Lorri clings to EV as a source of her identity and thinks that that group provides a service to the community. In her delusion, she is blinded by what she thinks is good in the group while failing to see the toxicity she enables, the favoritism she employs, the inconsistency in moderation, the lack of rule enforcement, and the proliferation of unsubstantiated claims she allows to be posted.
In a word, EV is a cesspool.
Lorri has been convicted of shoplifting, lost her license due to an inappropriate relationship with a client, and chooses to spend her days obsessing over a very negative echo chamber that creates further division on our community.
Who cares. It's her page. You dislike a page with people who disagree with you. What else is new? Got a problem with old people too? If you don't like it, don't read it! In Cardiff they have ruined the once pristine views of the surf and sent 30 cyclists to the pavement since their installation in 2020 on what was once among the safest and most pleasant routes for bicycling. Once committed to the "bike traps" cyclists have nowhere to go when encountering pedestrians, dog walkers, and contraflow cruiser riders, often riding electric bicycles in the wrong direction. They must control lane 2 of the Coast Highway. Drivers wonder why they aren't using the dangerous infrastructure that was ostensibly built for them, but which makes cycling there far more dangerous than before. Riding alone while controlling lane 2 invites abusive behavior by aggressive drivers and is a nervous and unpleasant experience.
The latest mishap that required an ambulance to transport a hapless cyclist to hospital occurred on a Saturday afternoon in August when a northbound cyclist was unable to leave the lane to overtake an illegal dog walker in the bike trap and clipped an orange plastic delineator with his left handlebar, sending him to the pavement.
For the first time in my life, I will be voting for a Republican. Moderate GOP candidate Gunderson has my vote this time. Hopefully the next mayor and city council in Encinitas will restore the Coast Highway in Cardiff to its previous configuration by removing the concrete wheel stops and plastic delineators. Both cyclists and drivers will be grateful.

Newsflash to the Cremona Cronies: Jeff was ahead of Cindy until the very end when Cindy pulled her manipulative b.s., which put them neck to neck. So for the low IQ Cremona crazies: Jeff’s plus Cindy’s percentage of the vote adds up to 46.6% of the vote. If we add in Blobe, we’re now up to 49.2%. Either way, it’s below the 50.8% Kranz got. So Kranz would’ve won no matter what. Those NYC schools must really suck, and so do you Cindy.
