The sidewalk around Modern Times and neighboring businesses downtown was taped off with crime scene tape and multiple police vehicles were on the scene this morning. Sirens were heard shortly after 8am. An abandoned shopping cart full of homeless posessions was left at the scene.
UPDATE:
So apparently the owner of Ironsmith coffee has been shot after an altercation outside of the coffee shop.
That must be the vibrancy tape. Our downtown has shamefully become PB north. We know who to thank for that. We know what to thank for that $$$$$$$$ Our specialness is gone. There is little comfort in remembering it when it was special.
ReplyDeleteAnother Blakespear legacy....
DeleteOwner of the coffee shop was shot according to a post on EV, at least we know it wasn’t a ghost gun, smh.
ReplyDeleteGeee, according to one pinhead leftist on this website, no one needs a gun to protect themselves. Whata' yu know.
ReplyDeleteThe owner shot himself.
DeleteDumb people with guns is a problem.
Arm yourselves, be it pepper spray, knife or a Byrna.
ReplyDeleteThink not? Ask the coffee shop owner. Put up with nothing from no one. And always remember...
"he who hesitates, is lost"
Maybe a gas powered leaf blower, what' ya' think moscow?
Somebody in the town you profess to love was shot today and your first thoughts are to take a pot shot at the mayor. You are a bunch of cunts. Plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteYes, because it may have been avoided and she is the source for why not. That's a fact, not a pot shot. You are an ignorant Kool-Aid drinker.
Deletehey genius...moscow isn't the mayor.
DeleteSorry 1:50. You’re a cunt. You are always going to be. Maybe you weren’t at one point. What will you have to say if reports of the victim being hurt by their own weapon? The correct thing to say would “I jumped to the wrong conclusion about our mayor being somehow the source of this incident.” But instead you are gonna say something to own the libs.
DeleteA man was asked to leave the coffee shop after causing a disturbance. A verbal argument followed in the back alley of the business then turned into a fight. During the altercation, the coffee shop owner produced a gun.
ReplyDeleteThe gun went off once during the struggle. The bullet grazed the coffee shop owner at the back of his neck. A bystander was also hit in the leg with shrapnel.
The suspect took hold of the gun so the owner ran to the Encinitas Fire Station in the 400 block of Second Street for help. Firefighters encountered the suspect with the gun and detained him.
The gun belonged to the coffee shop owner, supposedly. Pulled it out and ended up getting shot himself. If true, the owner is a dumbass and should not be allowed to own a gun. Pussies, those are the only ones the pull guns for little things and pussy dumbasses end up getting shot by their own gun. Imagine pulling a gun on somebody and getting shot yourself by the same gun. This is why republicant states have higher gun deaths, higher crime and shorter life spans. The right fails at everything, including self defense and offense in this case.
ReplyDeleteIs coffee shop owner a righter? Kind of belies the stereotype.
DeleteWho knows 4;44. He is a vet, pulled out a loaded gun and managed to shoot himself and an innocent bystander. Dumb like a righty. Lefties don’t feel a need to shoot people or even carry cause they dont live in fear for their lives all day every day.
DeleteFirst thing the neighborhood watch police advisors tell you is never to produce a weapon that could be turned against you.
ReplyDeletecorrect
DeleteShould have expected you to chime in with your typical paranoia that some bad guy is going to invade your home and you need high powered semi automatic weapons of war meant for the battlefield to defend yourself. Is your member that tiny or more likely it is your limited mental capacity. You are a waste of air. Once again you conflate a situation to suit your paranoia. At least this time it was not one of those war weapons that should be banned from public ownership. Aren't there enough of other types of guns to suit you and protect yourself from the imaginary bad guys? Assault weapons. There you go. Triggered so easy.
ReplyDeleteHey...all brains and no brains. No one has mentioned military weapons. Were you given a frontal lobe dissection lately? Really, what is wrong with you...
DeleteThere goes the "good guy with a gun" theory. I bet Thunder, Morris, Cremona, Blobe and the rest who cream their jeans vilifying the homeless are bummed the gun was owned by the business owner and not the crazy homeless guy.
ReplyDeleteManic Morris posted:
ReplyDeleteOWNER OF IRONSMITH SHOT IN THE FACE BY A TRANSIENT THIS MORNING...
Nobody who works on the 101 is safe anymore.
+Where was Cindy? Where was Kranz?
JEFF YOU WERE JOHNNY ON THE SPOT BECAUSE YO HAD YOUR POLICE SCANNERS CLAPPED ON YOUR HEAD OVER YOUR TINFOIL HAT?
They do NOT care, and their "actions" prove it. I've been on the streets for 3 years keeping Encinitas in the loop.
JEFF EVERYONE BUT YOU AND YOUR CRAZIES KNOW YOUR "WORK" PRODUCED HAS PRODUCED ZERO RESULTS.
I predicted this 3 years ago, I was right, all naysayers were wrong,
HEY THERE'S A PALM READER DOWN IN P.B. LOOKING FOR A SEER. TAKE THE JOB.
Cindy is another outsider New Yorker looking out ONLY for her street.
CREMONA HAS LIVED IN ENCINITAS MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND NORTH COUNTY AT LEAST 20. THE REAL OUTSIDER IS YOU, HERE FOR A LONG TIME AND ONLY RECENTLY CRAWLING OUT FROM UNDER A ROCK. WASSUP. WHERE WERE YOU ALL THAT TIME?
I dedicated 3 years of my life to protecting my town and I know more than all of the candidates combined on how to fix the damage Tony Kranz has done to Encinitas.
3 YEARS IS NOTHING YET YOU WHIP IT OUT EVERY TWO MINUTES. YOU ARE EMBARRASSING YOURSELF, JUST STOP. YOU DO NOT KNOW MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE. JUST. STOP.
And what did he actually accomplish down there? Absolutely nothing. Same as usual. 3 years of boasting and bragging and NOTHING to show for it.
Delete2:49- and apparently, cosmetic surgery business that Morris was a part of 20 years ago or more , was a penis enlargement joint! Dovetails nicely with his endorsement by the gun owners. You can't make this shit up.
ReplyDeleteSurprised this didn't come out earlier
DeleteMaybe he’ll RISE to the occasion!
DeleteLet me "try" and educate you folks. If, you plan on pulling a gun on anyone, DO NOT be close to the opposition. Things can go wrong. This, if true, is the perfect example.
ReplyDeleteTrain, train and more training. Run scenarios thru you mind over and over. That way, you are always at the ready.
2:49- apparently, the cosmetic surgery business Morris said he was the owner of,in his lie filled interview with Leucadia Now, was a penis enlargement clinic! Dovetails nicely with his endorsement by the the San Diego gun owners assoc. Seriously, you can't make this shit up.
ReplyDelete3:33 there is nothing you can say about Morris that will shock people anymore. There is no lie he won't tell, there is no bottom for him or his wife. His assault with a deadly weapon charge he feared would come to light has come to light.
DeleteI heard the homeless guy was showing the gun owner how to work the safety switch.
ReplyDeleteBottom line, aggressive homeless people of personage are involved in incidents involving guns. Doesn't really matter who the owner of said gun is.
didn't realize it had been established it was a homeless person. do you have a link or is your source mendacious morris?
DeletePure smack talk BS.

Back to Morris and his own personal assault with a deadly weapon and battery charges, for those interested it was filed by Dumanis' office against him. Case #C336588.
ReplyDeleteCase search on that comes back as a 2013 case in East County against a Michelle Tonks.

Jeff Morrises assault with a deadly weapon case # should read, CT No. CN336588
DeleteDismissed morons!
DeleteCare to say why? Nothing to do with Morris’ innocence. Try again.
DeleteCoffee boy shot himself, and Morris4Maui is aligned with nutters who want dipshits like this to have guns.
ReplyDeleteMorris had better not make a peep about this “assault” started by the coffee house owner considering what is coming to light about his actual attack on another. Call it Jeff’s personal October surprise.
Delete"assault" started by the coffee house owner? You might want to get your facts straight.
DeleteRead the police report and paper not manic morris’ version of the truth. There’s nothing he won’t lie about it. Don’t be his tool and fool.
DeleteYup as expected Morris has turned this into the homeless guy making the assault.
ReplyDeleteJeffro you want to explain YOUR assault with a deadly weapon? Time to come clean Mr transparency.
The correct case # for Jeff's assault with a deadly weapon case is CN336588
ReplyDeleteWow, two charges against Jeff Morris assault with a deadly weapon AND battery. These are not charges a normal person has on their record. Given his countless threats recently, he needs to have his guns taken away and receive mandatory psych evaluation immediately.
DeleteDidn’t he recently claim this charge was a lie? Wait, didn’t Jeff I cannot tell a lie Morris, just lie? Where is the Moron? I want to hear him spin this!
DeleteLet’s see…who do we believe: the DA or Mendacious Morris? Even his advisors Jerome Stocks and wily sidekick Garvin Walsh can’t spin him out of this one.
DeleteGarvin Walsh is Tony Kranz’s advisor. Please don’t vote for Tony Kranz or Catherine Blakespear.
DeleteWalsh has his fingers in Thunder’s dyke too.
DeleteThey’re all tied together to help Tony win.
Thunder needs to come clean on her Kranz, Walsh & Morris affiliations because right now it’s getting very stinky.
Garvin Walsh's own daughter filed a restraining order against him back east, he's a real piece of work, we are so lucky to have him here looking out for us.
DeleteHey dipshits. The charges were dismissed.
DeleteLearn to read
Thanks Mayor Blakespear and council for ruining our once great town.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, Mayor Blakespear had nothing to do with any of this. Maybe she gave the cafe owner some pandemic relief money in 2020 to keep him afloat? Should look into that.
Delete9:26...bakesphere didn't have anything to do with this?
DeleteYa' right. Bums in encinitas...wake up
Kranz. Welcoming open city to all. He supports bringing more and more homeless in. Supports more train noise, supports fencing off the coastline, supports increased massive density in an arid desert, and supports taxing you all a lot lot more for paying for these homeless benefit
ReplyDeleteCN336588 What's the URL?
ReplyDeleteURL? It's a case at the Vista Superior Court. Go check it out, a number of people have.
DeleteI’m an attorney, make sure you read the whole thing. It was dismissed and a 5 year restraining order was granted to Mr Morris against the man because the person was unstable that filed the assault. The case shows that the person who filed the assault was actually the one who assaulted Mr Morris. Hence the reason for the dismissal.
DeleteThank you, counselor.
DeleteAs I read these "nut jobs" posting on here, it reminds me of the old saying "going off halfcocked". If more of these responders had a hobby perhaps they would focus on that instead of making fools of themselves.
Nothing in there about a restraining order. Let’s face it, Morris is an unstable figure. It comes glaring through on every public post of his and in every interview.
DeleteHe’s divisive & delusional. Sees conspiracies everywhere. Has no solutions for anything including homelessness. Obviously has problems with women, especially women he sees as threatening.
Is anyone surprised at this charge?
This will do as a URL:
Deletehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1aDDaX2mM9mQ-eSyQF8wnxmL-F0FIX_tt/view
Why send people on a wild goose chase looking for the case? Post the source ID!
8:15- Well , if you say your an attorney, it must be true. By the way, I'm a Supreme Court judge, and I see nothing in these documents about a restraining order against the plaintiff. Morris clearly did the crimes for which he was charged by the district attorney. He cut a deal with Mr. Toro, which resulted in the charges being dismissed, but he definitely committed assault with a deadly weapon, and battery as well.
DeleteIf these leftists hate Morris so much, there must be something very good about him. Ever notice how angry the left is, all the time. Ever met a happy person on the left? Me neither.
ReplyDeleteIt's like listening to the alzheimers biden claiming there is no inflation. Whatever the left states, think the opposite
Call your mom.
DeleteHey, guess what. Lefties and righties. You both suck, and you are the problem with this whole country.
DeleteMan protects his business from a loser, "it's the fault of a gun"
ReplyDeleteBan guns you say, "THEN WHAT?" Come on, tell us all how anyone is supposed to protect their families?
You stupid friggin' morons. Too much college and no sense, equals a friggin' fool
As usual your paranoia is showing again. Imagining living with the constant thought that some bad guys will attack your family is a sad state of affairs to live with every day. Little wonder you are exhibiting ptsd with every inane post.
ReplyDeletehey genius...law enforcement carries sidearms.
DeleteI reckon you think they are paranoid as well.
So be it, but be advised, if you or your other bizzarro chums get in a pickle, don't call an officer.
They're paranoid, remember.
Is that all you got? You can extrapolate false equivocations until your end time comes. You must be another one of those stable genius' we hear about. The quality of your life and my life will never find a way to come together and that is a shame. That is your shame, not mine. I don't live every day fearing the bad guys. You do, and it is causing irreparable brain damage of what ever cognitive abilities you may still have. PTSD. Get some professional help, if not for you, then for your family and friends and this community.
ReplyDeleteBig words and not a lick of sense. Remember, never call for help when you need it. Why? you are much too smart.
DeleteYou prove my point. Thanks.
