  1. Bang your pots!! Bring your pots and pans to city hall and bang your pots. Don't think it makes any difference, ask the mothers of the disappeared of Argentina. Pot banging brought down the military junta in Argentina and it can bring down Muir and co.

    BANG YOUR POTS!!!

  3. Well your little protest didn't add up to a hill of beans. What's wrong with you guys?? Can't remember how to protest?? You never should have allowed ANY member to leave their car and enter the council chambers, least of all MUIR. You should have surrounded his car and not allowed him to walk inside city hall. Shit!! No wonder the city has no respect for the citizens...they don't fear you!!!

  4. The only public speaker to make comments in support of Muir was involved in the building industry. This comment came from Greg Barth, whose name appears as a supporter of Dan Dalager on 2010 reelection mailers, and who clarified that he is “no relation to Teresa Barth.” But that he were so lucky!

Greg Barth’s point that we live in ‘a republic’ only provides another level of support to Ehlers’ and Meiche’s position that for Muir to be ‘appointed’ as a City employee, rather than for him to retire and get ‘elected’ to the position, communicates an impression of a three-way quid pro quo. If voters would have placed Muir into Council, it would be different.

While we were paying Muir Bond and Stocks and their Rotary buddy Phil Cotton turn a blind eye as Muir uses of City email and city time to support their elections, in conflict of Encinitas own code of conduct, Muir was moving up through the ranks. Muir and his wife also sponsored fundraising events for Bond, which is a blatant display of cronyism since the Fire Chief is supposed to non-political and serve ALL Encinitas residents—not just those who can promote him in exchange for campaign work.

Since Muir has lied about his leadership role in different PAC’s involved in electing Bond and Stocks--seemingly in exchange for promotion, and since his wife Mo is the treasurer of at least 1 PAC, I would suggest that Mrs. Muir start a conversation with Duke Cunningham’s wife Nancy Cunningham. Nancy Cunningham also served as Treasurer for a non-profit that her husband managed.
