Surfing Madonna reappears at Surfy Surfy

J.P., you are the luckiest guy in town.

And to think you owe it all to Jerome Stocks for banishing the Lady from her original home.

  1. Finally. Now Mr.Patterson can get down to doing what the Madonna was and is all about...making money. Interestingly it's no where near the ocean as Mr.Patterson always said he wanted. But then Moonlight beach isn't paying him.

    1. Exsqueeze me? What the hell are you talking about? Patterson wanted to leave it as an anonymous gift to the city, which he made at significant expense to himself and never would have seen a dime from.

Only Stocks and Bond throwing a hissy fit caused Patterson's name to even be known.

      You are way off base.

    2. "Patterson wanted to leave it as an anonymous gift to the city", right... that's why he SIGNED HIS NAME TO IT, so it would be an anonymous gift. Don't be naive nor stupid. It was only after other people started to exploit the Madonna that Mr.Patterson came out of the wood work. His arrival had nothing to do with the removal nor the preservation of the mosaic.

Has it finally found a home?? Let's hope so.
Will the new group of homeless in Leucadia leave it in peace?? The drunks that pour out of Dukes after 2 AM?? Time will tell, only 1 month ago vandals destroyed signs and window all up and down the 101.

Anonymous gift to the city...lolol. I got a bridge in Brooklyn for you to buy also...lolol.

    3. Wrong, in fact. Patterson's name was hidden from the public and was only seen in part when consultants came in to try to figure out how to take the mosaic down.

    Thank-you J.P. and Mark Patterson,

That might not be fair to Mr Paterson, the artist He has not ever indicated that money was a motivation. And there have been people making money on the image.
Not him. Same with the kook.

  4. Meanwhile all this is going on, the COE council approves a million dollar fire station for Olivenhain. Not that any of you care that your tax dollars are being wasted. And the fire chief says that the new station is needed to provide the staff with a "break" room. If that ain't a waste of money then nothing else is ever.
