Dennis Lees discovers that Carlsbad firm O'Day Consultants and its employees gave Mayor Stocks $2000 to pay off campaign debt after the firm received a $77,000 city contract.
Welcome to Bellcinitas.
If your local newspaper isn't covering this stuff, it's not a "Watchdog."
"Watchdog" no more. Now lap dog!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, caught red handed. Where are the cries of "Lisa did that!" and "Tony did that!" Watch your back carefully, Dennis, or you may have someone named "Al Geria" set you up, with the help of a fat guy with a white beard, (and I don't mean Santa).
ReplyDeleteThat fetid pile of right wing demagogy, the Union Tribune, has endorsed the crony crook trio of Stocks, Muir and Forrester for city council. It cites Stock's record as "keeping the city on a path of improved quality of life and fiscal responsibility". In what universe do the editorial clowns at the UT live in? These candidates are "pro-business', which leads to "economic vibrancy" according to this UT editorial fairy tale (more like nightmare before election day).
ReplyDeleteI used to use the UT to line the cat litter box - it now stinks worse than the box, so out it goes!
DUMP STOCKS! Fire Muir and forget Forrester!
