Blakespear receives threatening text message

Coast News:
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a threat made against Encinitas Mayor Catherine Blakespear the evening of July 2, The Coast News has learned.

Blakespear reported the threat July 3 to sheriff’s investigators.

  1. Maybe it's the same guy who went batsh*t on Mayor Houlihan several years ago. He's the kind of guy that would feel empowered in the current political climate (cough cough Trump era).

    1. I had the same thought. Believe a certain D.Meyer was discovered behind the Maggie sh*t.

    2. 8:58- you mean the same type of empowerment that gave Kathy Griffin the right to chop off the head of the President and carry it in a bucket?? That type of empowerment?? Sure you do....

    3. Griffin apologized. Meyer/Andreen never did and no doubt continue to chuckle over their freakish stalking of Houlihan.

    4. 3:39 PM

So you're basically saying it's okay for Trump and his followers but not when the other side does it. What Griffin did was disgusting and stupid but Trump led us down that path way before Griffin.

    5. 3:39 - are you really holding the POTUS to Kathy Griffin's standards? Just how low will you set the bar? It appears that there is no bottom.

    7. No comparison with Kathy Griffin and the Blakespeare cyber-stalker. Griffin is a comedian that got a political gag wrong; this stalker is a nascent criminal making direct personal threats. Very different in context and purpose! If you can't see that 3:39, then I'm sorry.

    8. It's not ok to harass anyone in this manner ever, and I'm referring to Blakespeare. The maggie thing was also wrong. People who try and apologize for this kind of behavior by bringing up something done by a so called celebrity are more than a little clueless.

  3. Whomever did it is obviously a frequent anonymous poster here. It would be interesting to compare the writing style of the text and compare to the many angry and psychotic post that appear on Encinitas Undercover regularly.

    2. Oh heck, never mind actual proof, let's just get our pitchforks and cellphones and gang stalk some random person in true Encinitas style mob justice. After all we're just patriots trying to the right thing!
