A 20-year-old Encinitas man is charged with setting three fires last fall at a church youth center, an administration building at a middle school near his home and at a preschool, according to a federal indictment unsealed Wednesday. When young adults commit crimes in Encinitas, we often wonder whether the perpetrator is a local trustafarian or a drifter. In this case, it looks more like a drifter.
Tyler Carender allegedly began his arson spree Oct. 22 by setting fire to the Friendship House Counseling and Youth Center, which is owned and operated by Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church on Balour Drive.

ReplyDeleteUh? "We", as in you and "often" as in never. Some people are so concerned with others money, or in this case the dudes parents. Get over it, people work hard and make enough to leave to their kids. Sorry yours did not but maybe you can leave your kids a blog.
Yet you read said blog.
DeleteAnd 9:42 makes no sense anyway.
DeleteAs the Saint Andrews Episcopal Church keeps handing out more and more freebies, more and more vagrants will be drawn to that part of Encinitas (there are three schools right there) and it's just a matter of time before one of the mentally disturbed vagrants follows someone's daughter or $90,000 Tesla home for trouble. It's just a matter of time before a Saint Andrews organic food handout receipeint commits ANOTHER crime on your property, Saint Andrew's shouldn't be allowed to serve organic food from their church on Thursday afternoon. Please drive by and look at the people in that line and then ask yourself if you want them loitering around your yard after dark
ReplyDeleteOh but for fortune can apply to you as well 2:36pm someday.
