That was 4/5 of our council selling this community out by settling the BIA case. Their initial support to stand for us against DB was just a temporary ploy. Disgusting. Murphy and McSweeny were so chummy a couple of weeks ago in the chambers that this surprise was not a big one.
Couldn't they have at least waited until the Cal. Supreme Court rules on the BIA appeal with San Jose later this summer? The fix was in and we got screwed by a council that will not be there after the next election. That time cannot come too soon.
