Target of Olivenhain SWAT raid sentenced to counseling on misdemeanor charges

San Diego Reader:
On the day set for her misdemeanor trial, Anastasia Kirkeby, 50, a woman plagued by multiple drug-related arrests at her home in Encinitas, made a plea deal and was ordered to get counseling. That hearing was on November 10.

[...]

[Prosecutor Melissa] Ocampo had charged Kirkeby with two misdemeanors: under the influence of meth, and resisting, delaying, and obstructing a police officer.

Papers found in the court file suggest that Ocampo was having trouble coming up with “material witnesses.”
Kirkeby's house was the subject of a spectacular SWAT raid last December, and later was severely damaged in a fatal fire.

  1. Drug-induced amnesia, how convenient. I'm curious as to why the SD Reader only posted a pix of the DA. A pix of the criminal would certainly let us citizens know to offer a wide berth if we see this woman.

    1. Twice on the radio I heard of a man up in LA who stabbed a buddy in the stomach for diddling his girlfriend. The man is still at large. Twice the reports called him "the man" instead of name or describe him. Someone must not want to find him very badly.

  5. What a bunch of maroons in this town, they put up starfish lights on the streetlights at Christmas but can't put up flower pots in the spring and summer.....DEMA= Idiots. Meanwhile the road on 101 is falling apart.....

  6. Actually, this city puts starfish lights up on the "Holidays" cause they're too PC to acknowledge Christmas. It might hurt someone's feelings somewhere. DEMA tried flower pots. They needed constant watering (in our desert) which didn't happen. They looked nice for a few days but it was a huge feelgood liberal waste of money and a precious resource. The expense would have escalated into a worse negative cash flow if they had created a new job for someone watering them perpetually. What part of 101 is falling apart? The city resurfaced the north part and it is in fine shape.

    1. The $100K/yr City Art Facilitator could have watered the pots. I'm pretty certain that job can't take more than about 8 hours to accomplish its entire agenda for the month. Maybe he is in charge of the City Hall coffee room décor? This city has too much fluff in the employment sector. Has the new City Manager made any changes of consequence?

    2. The north part of 101 was just resealed and is not ok. It has waves and bumps galore. The roads will cost more as they continue to crumble.

    1. Yes, those are Starfush. We are a beach community, that's why the mainstreets put symbols of the ocean and surfing on all the SDGE transformer boxes....like at 101 and Enc Blvd. You know, where the elephant is pissing and shooting urine from his trunk.

  12. Still no evidence Steven Leacock was drinking at Union.

EU said wait, so I guess we're still waiting (even though the court has disposed of the case).

I guess we're in the Trump age. Make stuff up, and never correct the record.

  13. Oh wow, the COE is fixing the road on El Camino Real.....of course that road is DAMN good compared to Glenmanor, Santa Fe dr. or any part of 101. Way to go COE, next you'll buy a run down POS school that needs millions of dollars in repairs, oh wait you already did.
