    6. Win or lose, Trump is the end of the Republican Party in its current incarnation.

You cannot demonize and estrange all the groups with projected population growth in the decades to come and win. National elections will go first, then it will be harder and harder to hold Senate seats in statewide elections. All that will be left are gerrymandered house districts. Eventually, the Democrats will have enough power to redraw the house districts to break up Republican "safe seats."

Smart establishment Republicans won't wait for that to play out. Look for them to form a new party under a new name. The Republican Party will split in two, with the greed wing on one side, and Trump will be the leader of the ignorance wing on the other. The greed wing will eventually win the battle under a new name.

In 2036, no one alive will ever admit that they supported Trump.

Perhaps you have been distracted. Mr. Trump has black supporters, like the Detroit congregation that supported his policies and welcomed his speech have last week. Mr. Trump has homosexual supporters like Twinks for Trump, Milo's Yianopulis and the operator of the Gateway Pundit, Trump has Latino supporters who held a rally for him in Irvine last week. His campaign leaders include woman and Ivannka runs his businesses.

It seems you are the one filled with hate and intolerance. Have you alone decided that Trump supporters are not the right kind of black Hispanic, gay, Latino or female person?

Last night in her effort to divide the country Hillary demonized Trump supporters, are they not also americans? Maybe Hillary should stop speaking to donors and start speaking with regular americans.

Gerrymandering? Debbie Wasserman Shultz, the DNC and the Media colluded to rig the primary to benefit Hillary over Bernie. Hillary is crooked, guilty of the very activity you note ! Open your eyes.

Very few admit they supported obama, I did. He is a loser. I also supported Bush, he too is a loser.

What do Bush, Obama and Hillary have in common? They are globalist and put themselves and cronies first, and American familes last.

You can't fixed a rigged system by electing the people who rigged it.

    9. If you think Trump is doing as well or better with minorities than the losing campaigns of Romney or McCain, then your reality distortion field is very strong.

      Google Republican demographic problem.

      Delete
    10. Trump is taking votes in all demographics. Bill Clinton said America should bring in "10,000 Muslim Syrians" to re-build Detroit. All of these immigrants would require tax payer money for housing. Education and health care.

One week later Trump spoke before a predominantly black congregation asking why should taxpayer money be spent to pay Syrian immigrants? Trump made a lot of sense for many. There is no denying Chicago, Baltimore and Detroit have been led by Democrats and they are all failed cities.

Trump's message to homosexuals has resonated. Hillary took $30 million from Saudi and she led the
Fall of Libya resulting in ISIS throwing gays of roofs. Trump's message to better screen immigrants from Jihadi's countries to put Americas gay community first is resonating.

Trump has 5,000-15,000 people lining up to go to his rallies. Hillary had about 300 the other day at a Baptist convention, they had to close the curtains to make it look better- fake optics.

You may have missed it, but Google's algorithms for search are anti-Trump. Google is open borders supporters and in bed financially with the Clinton Foundation and Obama white house. You might think of getting factual news from other sources.

      Delete
    11. Facts are anti-Trump.

But that's okay, because he's going to come up with beautiful new facts--the best facts anyone has ever seen. Many people are saying Obama has had the worst facts in the history of America--terrible facts.

Trump facts will be the best, but we can't talk about them right now, because our enemies can't know what our facts will be.

I have no fear for I speak the truth. Perhaps you are blind to current day realities. I encourage you to stop living in the past and join us here in the present.

The Islamic colonization of Europe is underway. It is led by forces seeking to destroy Europe and nations and change the cultural, historical, religious and racial make up of each nation. This is a forced effort.

Hillary and Obama are the latest tools. The take over of Libya by Islamic jihadi's has enable Tripoli to be a launching point to flood Europe. This is forced on the Italians, Greeks, Swedes, French, Dane's and Brits.

You ignore each fact presented as to what is going on in Europe. Native citizens are afraid and angry. Merkel just lost an election in her hometown. Marie LA Penne is on the rise in France. Why? Because their countries are being invaded by Muslim Men age 18-30. They have no skills, no jobs, no money and no desire to integrate. Who sent them? How did they get the money to come?

The facts are these. Sweden is now the rape capital of the world and the government is telling blonde woman to die their hair brunette and not to wear skirts or heels- to placate the muslim jihadi's.

In Germany hundreds of woman were raped and molested on New Years Eve by the invaders. In German towns Mayors are telling residents to integrate to Islam. They are directing woman not to make eye contact with the "culture enrichers", to wear sneakers to run away to prevent against rape.

Throughout Europe there are no go zones controlled by Islamic Jihadis.

In the UK muslim jihadi's were at last arrested but not before they spent nearly 10 years grooming white English teen age girls to become sex slaves. The Koran says these actions are not only permissble, they are encouraged- for the way to enslave the indigenous infidel is to take their woman and emasculate the men. This is fact, and it is happening in Europe as we speak-

  8. I used to like attending the Cardiff forums, when they were run by the Cardiff Chamber of Commerce. You used to be able to ask candidates questions, directly, if called upon. But last time I attended, we were told to ask yes or no questions!

I, and many others think all the 101 Mainstreet Associations are basically sell-outs, because their boards of directors all lobbied against Prop A. They are all subsidized by the City, and therefore lose much of their objectivity.

The League of Women Voters isn't all that objective in my opinion, either. I don't like their support of polices to destroy public documents, when computer storage systems, such as the Cloud, should allow us to preserve many of the public documents scheduled for disposal.

You know what would be great? The City could call for a Special Meeting, where all the candidates could be heard. It could be noticed, with an agenda calling for public discussion in the form of questions and answers. Council members wouldn't have to be up on the dais for this special meeting, or rather, all candidates could be up on the dais. Lisa Shaffer could sit in the audience.

The meeting would have to conform to noticing requirements of the Brown Act. The City Clerk could draw questions out of a "hat" or members of the public could ask questions, directly, from the speaker's dais.

The City does need to be careful with these forums, because City business will be discussed, and there will be a quorum of Council Members present.

    1. Government is run by the few with personal agendas, mainly because of electorate apathy. If there are troublesome activists, then structure the process to minimize or stifle their access to the process. Run your own stooges for office, who have sold out for the crumbs they will get from the tables of the elite (Gaspars). Encinitas is a prime example of a powerful clique running the show.

    3. Someone may have the former Cardiff Chamber of Commerce confused with the Cardiff Town Council? In Leucadia/Encinitas, Leucadia Town Council goes along with the agenda of the Mainstreet Associations.

Residents, including long time residents and concerned local activists are not given the same treatment, do not have the same standing, as so-called "stakeholders," many of which have "stakes" in several overlapping and inbred organizations, commissions, committees, town councils and/or associations.

  9. I am also kind of bummed that the Cardiff forum will be like all of the others. At least we could ask direct questions. Barbara Cobb is no longer president, so this is not her doing. The new president is a nice enough guy but last year he couldn't control the crowd, so he picked a safer forum mainly so he didn't have to try and reign the crowd in. You all do realize that the Cardiff Town Council is not the same as the MainStreet organizations? They get no money from the City, but they also have no meetings and no one, except the president and maybe a few others, even know how many members there are. it is a strange group of people.

No questions about the unsafe walking conditions on roads and highways, those idiots at Paul Ecke celebrate the addition of the pick up/drop off lane, something that should have accomplished 30 years ago. Nonsense!!! Anyone if you want to ask why the city is borrowing $3M for the new lifeguard tower when we already borrowed $3M for the lifeguard tower?? No one knows?? Really?? Wow!! It's you that is pathetic.

      Delete
  12. 11:38- Here is the problem as I see it. You may be right, but there are not many candidates. Why is that? Personally, I think it is because of the scrutiny that people who engage in running for Council get. Tasha, for example, has been in this country a lot longer than you think. Catherine is an attorney, and she did change her mind on the rail trail, only to have them seriously trash her because she changed up the list of who was going to be on the committee. However, after realizing her mistake, she asked the first person. Now about 6 people have totally turned on her and are supporting Muir, Gaspar, and Graham. Gaspar, as it turns out was in on the NoRail Trial from the beginning, although no one was made aware of this when they signed the petition. He has been a "silent partner' so to speak. My point in this is he backdoor deals seem OK with him. I have no issue with Muir. And Graham I don't know, except he has aligned himself with Gaspar and Muir. And Kranz, who was for Prop.A is now against it. He betrayed his base which is not cool.I think that is all there is to chose from. If someone who cares, like Cameron, tried to run, she would get so much grief it would not be worth it. There are others who thought about running, but they don't want to hassle of this B.S. that goes on in our community. If we could have civil discourse, over the issues, and not trash someone because they are fat, ugly, talk too much, etc. perhaps we could have some decent candidates.

Shaffer - retired, was when she ran
Blakespear - mom covers while she does City business
Muir - retired, was when he ran

Even though we don't get to actually personally ask candidates, we can submit questions to the League of Women Voters who convinced the new President of the Cardiff Town Council that this was a good idea. I think it sucks, but nevertheless, come anyway and see how it plays out. There will be people sharing why Measure T is B.S. and others will be there sharing, even though they will not be asking candidates anything. Could prove to be very interesting.
