Carlsbad residents submitted a petition for an election instead of the Carlsbad council deciding on someone to replace one of the councilmembers.
Encinitas can do the same thing for any replacement on the Encinitas council.

Contractor trailers, access plates and other components of the Portalet project are moving forward but to the north, it is just more cutting of the existing trees. I guess to build the "canopy" - just wish one could find some shade along the 101 north of Leucadia blvd.

He ignores the systematic public and private sector underinvestment in education, in employment, in infrastructure, in healthcare, in recreation.
He ignores that things were done in his name, and using his tax dollars that created a multigenerational spiral of despair, hopelessness and anger.
Today he will see violence in Washington DC by a bunch of butt hurt cultists who lost an election fair and square, and he will make excuses. But he will not extend the smallest measure of that generosity to a class of people with hundreds of years of systematic oppression and racism that continues to the present day.
