Letter from school:The suspect is reportedly a 16-year-old student at the school.Yesterday [Feb 1], the Sheriff’s Dept made an arrest in relation to the vandalism that occurred on our campus on New Year’s Day. We appreciate your support in respecting the integrity of our site-based investigation and the privacy of any individual(s) involved by quelling any rumors or student-specific discussion related to the matter.
I hope they have rock solid proof because that accusation in today's world will be a crushing blow to that student's future. After all, he is:
ReplyDelete"Only a lad. You really can't blame him."
"Only a lad. Society made him."
"Only a lad. He's our responsibility."
Oh, oh, oohh oh oh oh
"Only a lad. He really couldn't help it."
"Only a lad. He didn't want to do it."
"Only a lad. He's underprivileged and abused."
Perhaps a little bit confused?

I lost count how many times I saw Oingo Bongo. Top rate musicians with excellent timing. As for Elfman, talent far beyond the common man.
DeleteThank you Danny
As for the vandalism, I was not able to find what was done. Can someone lead me to the facts?
Mainly the "N" word and maybe a swastika were spray painted on the walls.
DeleteOut of consideration of how many thousands of times that the same thing has happened all over our country and throughout our history, wouldn't it have been better just to immediately paint it over and quietly make the arrest and announce it later? Nobody that I know supports the crime, but this situation could have been handled with more sensitivity.
ReplyDeleteSomething going on in that kid's home to get him to that point. Don't stop at investigating the "child."
DeleteYou can't hold the parents responsible, except for the costs of restoration of the property vandalized.
