Taco Bell bites the dust
It's the Circle of Life. Haggo's begins, Taco Bell ends.
I suppose Taco Bell was doomed the moment Chipotle came in. I don't know how it outlived the Baja Fresh. And how does that Smell Crotcho by the freeway stay open?
It's completely baffling how Taco Bell existed there for so long with so many worthwhile burrito shops nearby. The only people who like it have no taste and no clue what Mexican food is.
The Del Taco site by the freeway is a perfect for an In-n-Out Burger. I guarantee that In-n-Out would take that site in a heartbeat if it were to became available.

ReplyDeleteEncinitas needs a haggis stand.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was the revelation that Taco Bell uses meat other than from cows that finally put the bat in the belfry - or in the deep fryer!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Dan Dalager can begin his new career now - as a fast food skip jack! Watch your wallet though...
ReplyDeleteThe Taco Bell has a ten year lease and is being completely rebuilt and should be open for business by tax day 2011.
ReplyDelete@11:02 that's the most depressing thing i've heard all day.

ReplyDeleteLike most Taco Bells around the county they are being torn down and rebuilt! This may take some time but will look much nicer!
