Adrenochrome is a subject of several far right conspiracy theories, such as QAnon and Pizzagate,[19][20][21] with the chemical helping the theories play a similar role to earlier blood libel and Satanic ritual abuse stories.[22] The theories commonly state that a cabal of Satanists rape and murder children, and "harvest" adrenochrome from their victims' blood as a drug[23][24] or as an elixir of youth.[25] In reality, adrenochrome is synthesized by biotechnology companies, solely for research purposes, and has no medical uses.”

  23. Does anyone’s else see that big ship off of Encinitas with tons of black smoke coming out? Is that ship solar or are they burning diesel or even worse bunker fuel?

is that diesel fuel it’s using let it or unleaded? Do those engines have clearance from the clean air resource board?

How many tons of pollutants are they pumping into the air?

How much carbon is being released?

is this good or bad for the environment?

Doesn’t Pumping out tons of greenhouse gases, contribute to global warming, and sea level, rise,?

it seems like this might be converting crude oil into sand for the beaches…. Seems kind of hypocritical that the city seems so focused on reducing carbon yet they prove spending $30 million to burn and pollute the Earth for moving sand, a relatively short distance, for a relatively short period of time,

Sand for both sites is being dredged onto a hopper barge from a borrow pit 35 to 55 feet deep in the ocean about 3,500 feet offshore from the San Dieguito River outlet at Del Mar. The barge then heads north and anchors offshore from the delivery site to pump the material ashore.

Prevailing ocean currents flow south and are likely to eventually carry at least some of the borrowed sand back to Del Mar and perhaps even to the offshore deposit where it was found, hence the term “borrow pit.”

Is the $30 million and all of this pollution that is contributing to sea level, rise we’re having a 50 fudge strip of sand on the beach for a season or two?

is there a better path forward like removing the impediments to the rivers that are stopping the sand from the natural process of creating beaches?

Why doesn’t the city focus on, addressing the underlying reason why the sand disappeared?

Why doesn’t the city Bridge over the river mouth and open up the natural sand flows?

Were these questions asked by Mayor?
Answer- The last question is an easy one. we know our Mayor, The Town Dunce, can’t even get out of bed on his own and pick what clothes he’s going to wear for the day. 😒

Can someone please answer the other questions about is all of this pollution and is all the pollution worth it? How does the city addresses this issue in their climate action plan?

Why don’t they spend that $30 million to open up and bridge over the entire San Elijo Rivermouth to restore the natural sand flows?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Blackwell and the entire city council are a freaking joke. News 8 you can do better!

They say they are addressing global warming, but no one is addressing the underlying issues of why the sand is gone in the first place, and what are the costs for moving this Sand?

The Australian guy hits the nail on the head. Every action has a reaction. I think the city really needs to address how many millions of gallons of fuel are spent on this effort, and how much carbon is released into the air which actually causes global warming.

    https://www.cbs8.com/video/tech/science/environment/encinitas-wants-a-sandier-beach-heres-how-that-will-happen/509-ee2d9d28-6dda-4b7b-ae89-f41a0b6e4766

Blackwell and the city city Council consistently speak with Fork tongue,

How many millions of gallons did this operation take to get the contractor Madsen down and pump all of these 100 of thousand cubic yards of sand and then travel to their next destination?

I’m guessing that’s a lot of of fuel that’s being burned and releasing carbon and warming the climate and causing sea level rise. Can someone please ask these reasonable questions?

    4. Here’s your answer:

Removing flood controls from creek beds after we approved and built buildings on the floodplain is felony stupid. We should have prohibited development close to the waterways and let them flow naturally starting 150 years ago, but unfortunately we didn’t. So now we’re stuck with most flood controls that block sand.

Without the natural flow of sand to the beaches, and with sea level rise, we are left with three choices:

1.) Turn our beautiful and natural beaches into concrete bunkers destroying tourism and the property value of everyone living within five miles of the beach.

2.) Give a middle finger to property owners along the bluffs and let billions of real estate fall into the ocean.

3.) Pump sand onto the beaches to mitigate the withdrawal of natural sand flows and provide some protection of the bluff toe from direct wave erosion that accelerates bluff erosion and condemnation of private property.

Of the three options available, the third is the least bad option.

      And most voters support it.

      There’s your answer, dummy.

      Delete
    5. 7:12- i’m presuming you’re a young Lad or lad, and have not been quite educated on natural water courses. And more importantly, I think you’re still working on your reading comprehension. Good morning.

So the issue is not with flood control it’s with blocking the river mounts and damming up all of the natural sand migration.

“Removing flood controls from creek beds after we approved and built buildings on the floodplain is felony stupid. We should have prohibited development close to the waterways and let them flow naturally starting 150 years ago, but unfortunately we didn’t. So now we’re stuck with most flood controls that block sand“

My question to you is why are you talking about removing flood controls?

That was never suggested. What is needed, is to remove the berms and dams that are built across the river mountains, preventing the sand from reaching the beach.

So young in’, Would you care to try again?

      Delete
    6. Dummy,

The river mouths are only the last step. The sand comes to the river mouth from far upstream. The coastal range is eroding into sand.

The flood controls block the flow of sand from its source to the sea. Retention ponds collect the massive flow of monsoon storms and meter it out slowly so that downstream channels never get the full flood flow, which would destroy property. While the water sits still in the retention ponds, the sand drops out.

It’s the turbidity of violent and rapid flood waters that carry sand downstream en masse. It’s the flood controls along the whole length of our creek beds that block the natural flow of sand.

Just clearing the last 100 yds at the river mouth does nothing.

Lidar data shows that, contrary to most of the San Diego County shoreline, Cardiff State Beach has widened by 25 meters since 2002 and 15 meters since 2007, according to O'Reilly's work.

Apparently, they haven’t been down to Cardiff lately. Major major erosion along the beach and the parking lot is crumbling and closed.

The living shoreline is living all right- It’s running backwards quickly. So much has been eroded. it’s almost to the road.

Who is going to pay for all that Sand that got stripped from the Cardiff beaches? Is it going to be replaced with sand moved by solar equipment or is it going to be replaced with equipment that is currently being used that emits massive greenhouse gases furthering sea level rise and destruction of beaches around the world.

So we get to a 50 foot wide beach in Encinitas’s for a season or two, as the City’s actions accelerate the islands of the Maldives getting covered and thousands of lives ruined. Nice!

I really have only done one good thing in my life, and that was to marry a woman ( like a real one, born with a VJ) who takes care of me completely and we live in her mom’s house and pay nearly no taxes

Like the rest of my life, I continue to do stupid things . The funniest thing though is through teaming up with this loser from Lehman‘s brothers that seems to always pushing for higher density development and he came to me and volunteered to be my friend and he most be really smart cause she (loves wearing women’s cloths, etc… you know) carries a WSJ newspaper around a lot, anyway, and he manages my entire political portfolio from reading all of my emails to writing my newsletter and other great things . The craziest thing is that our relationship has since developed into this crazy sexual relationship. I never knew small morphed, things could provide so much pleasure…. Anyway digressing again,…

Sometimes I hear a lot of things about the harm I’ve caused by my bad decisions, but hey, I am a dunce, and you elected me….

Two of the things I’m really hearing about now are my actions that resulted in kids dying and destroying their mental and physical health, and approving moving a ton of sand with millions of gallons of diesel and causing greater global warming and sea level, rise, and flooding poor island nations… but again you elected me and we should have nice beaches for this upcoming summer….

I am so sore from last night, but that’s a whole Nother story that I probably should not tell you about… I can say is Starvin is one hot lover.

if you dare go down Vulcan Avenue, check out the awesome apartments that I approved with the great ocean views of Ponto that I gave to that developer and he’s givin me some big kudos and hugs but I’m gonna get a whole lot more.

    Tired and sore,

    You got em this time.

This is surely the election year issue that will be a winner. This is the Acme Iron Birdseed and Giant Magnet of political issues.

    Can’t lose.

    1. Good one Starvey! You stay on them… like you stayed on me all night long last night… I hope you’re not too sore. I needed to soak in a bath before I get up this morning. 😘

    1. How is Fletcher Gonzalez doing these days? how’s the latest hunt?

What are they doing with that $2 million of public funding?

How does City feel burning millions of gallons of diesel fuel in order to push sand around for a season to two while flooding disadvantage island nations?

Maybe Fletcher should get that $2 million to some of the nations that Encinitas is adding to flooding problems.
