City's expert report will recommend keeping the Surfing Madonna.
Meanwhile, Jerome Stocks still thinks it's all about him.
“That just furthers my argument that a big part of this particular piece of guerrilla art was to put the establishment or the administration in a difficult place,” Encinitas Councilman Jerome Stocks said Tuesday.
Stocks, a former cartoonist [and current cartoon], has said that while he likes the piece, a religious symbol on public property invites lawsuits and creates a legal defense for graffiti.
At time of this post, Mr. Stocks' alleged cartoon artwork could not be located. However, the cartoon character "Eric Cartman" on South Park is reportedly based on Mr. Stocks.
Idiot.
ReplyDeleteha ha ha;)
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't Stocks go run for council in East Poodunk? Doesn't he realize we have been fighting the establishment and the administration since we were born? Ugh...he is like that creepy guy, the one who knew it all and how to be all moral and such, what was his name....oh yeah, McCarthy
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at how Mr. Stocks loves to
ReplyDeleteextrapolate about all of the possibilitites of the City being sued when he simply doesn't like something, yet the scientifically proven risks of situations like dangerous residual chemicals in greenhouse properties, or the impact of I-5 on views is something that he mocks. The one thing we can say is that every decision that he makes is predicated on how it will affect him personally.
As a follow up--I forgot to mention that they already wasted $80,000 simply by not turning over the documents that Kevin Cummins and Tony Kranz have been requesting for years. Also, could someone explain to me how this would "prevent staff from doing their jobs?"
ReplyDeleteEven after the judge told them to turn documents over, they are going to appeal this decision and pay Glenn Sabine more of our money to lose the case a second time.
What incentive does Glenn have to actually win a case when the system of rewards is for him to lose as many times as they will pay for him to appeal cases? This qualifies as a, "Duhhh!"
Sabine and $tock$ need to ride the same rail out of town - permanently!
