Is you is or is you ain't Trump's baby?

June 7: Video of Kristin Gaspar apparently on election night:
I cast a vote for Trump today.  I think that it's important that we have someone that moves forward with Republican principles, and that's why I cast the vote the way that I did.

June 9: Logan Jenkins:
Gaspar is well-schooled in the notion that Republicans, in order to succeed in an increasingly progressive region, cannot be ideological bullies.

“Trump is the polar opposite of me,” she said.

UPDATED to include better quality video found on Facebook.

    2. she seems smart and articulate to me. I would love to see you give a public presentation.

All you are is a web troll. Get out and do something positive with your life like Kristen is doing.

    3. 7:10 AM Doesn't take much to impress you, does it? Gaspar is a parrot - repetitive droll for saps like you to drool over. She is a sell out to developers and their accompanying counter-parts. Seems you are a hypocrite too - as you play the troll yourself. Gaspar is lining her own pockets and that of her supporters - you are either one of them or too stupid to notice or care.

    1. I always enjoy it when Pam wears some of the clothes her husband took with him when he left his first wife. And, absolutely hysterical when Dave Roberts compares Pammie the Commie with a moderate Republican like Kristin. Roberts should be forced to reveal the deal he made with Slater-Price in order for him to be hand-chosen by her to oppose Steve Danon; the deal?

Whomever Pam picked for her replacement had to agree to keep the staff in tact for one-year; you can almost circle a date in a calendar of the post-agreement flight of Robert's inherited staff.

      Gotta love it!

  5. Let's see, Hillary Clinton and her husband have sold American taxpayers to the saudi's the chinese, Soros and any globalist banking entity willing to pay them. Hillary oversaw the destabalization of the middle east as Secretary of state and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands, and the organized and planNed Islamic invasion of europe, as well as Benghazi. Let's see Hillary lied blaming a video, and then lied about her state secrets illegally stored on her private server.

Trump has stated his policy of not squandering taxpayer dollars or lives on horrible foreign policy. Hillary supports giving taxpayer money to illegqlw, Trump wants to give taxpayer money back to legal US citizens. Hillary wants to sell the Whitehouse to globalist, Trump's wants to give the Whitehouse back to American familes.

    1. She was interviewed on PBS radio - she parrots the character issue. It apparently worked so far, so that will be the ongoing script. What else does she have? Roberts' campaign needs to review her history of inconsistencies and association with the Lincoln Club, chock full of developers and other people with vested interests in having their shill on the Board of Supervisors.

You just need to get it all in before the trolls catch on...... For the most part those who actually contribute something are pretty good at ignoring the flamers & trolls. 2. Those are hilarious observations - can't handle satire, can you? When you are in the public arena, you are subject to barbs of all sorts. Looks are part of it - descriptive profiles may be exaggerations of the general characteristics of an individual, therefore they are fair game. Even the anti-Jew person should be allowed his forum.

      Delete
    3. The anti-Jew person should not be allowed his forum. Hate speech is not welcome here. You might dig it, 7:22, but most of us don't. That's why only the racist and folks like you want WC to leave his posts up. There's something wrong with that.

Ridiculing someone's appearance is not good satire. It's the easiest of pickings when you think you're being clever (news flash: you aren't). Thinking comments on someone's appearance is "fair game" and mistaking them for true wit and satire is a commentary on the mental abilities of the writer.

      Delete
    4. "Ridiculing someone's appearance is not good satire." No one said it was satire.

Just the facts, ma'am; just the facts.

      Delete
    5. 8:56 PM You're just a thin-skinned whiner. Political cartoons exaggerate peoples' countenances; verbal satire obviously takes liberty to do the same - nothing personal.
Regarding "hate speech", that's all in the eye of the beholder. 'Extremism' reflects and sheds light on the writer and therefore is part of the "credibility" of an argument - if it is too much for you, go read the newspaper. This is not condoning any particular method of presentation, as people should have the liberty to make fools of themselves unless deemed potentially physically harmful.

      Delete
    6. Beg pardon, 9:14, but 7:22 used the word "satire."

What was that you were saying about facts?

      Delete
    7. 8:16 - seems WC agrees. He's got a lot of supporters on this one. Something tells me you're in a very tiny minority in your inability to recognize hate speech.

I don't get the "credibility" established in calling Jewish people "dirty." If that forms the basis of an argument for you, then...gosh, I really don't know where to start.

      Delete
    8. 9:18 AM You can't see the forest for the trees. What tells you about "hate speech" - the little bird? The context of "credibility" here was used as a relative term - neither for or against. You obviously have missed the point. As I said, the contributor adds to or detracts from a point of view by the particular use of language - to scream for censorship per se is an inability to allow a general forum to prevail. This blog has been tolerant of all opinions and thus is the most pertinent forum for local views. Look what censorhip did to the Leucadia Blog - it is the cricket outpost now.

Find out what appealed to them and promise the same. Tell them that Gaspar will neglect the inland regions and cater to the developers, who are densifying the coast. Plus, her lack of consistency can be an issue too - she is a shill.

  16. Muir is paid in retirement what the active Governor of California is currently paid. Other ex-Administrators get even more! For a town of less than 100,000 people, this is highway robbery!

  17. This town also started out with 116 full time employees and is up to over 200 full timers, while the population has increased by about 3,000 people. Are all of these people going to have pensions someday? How will we afford it? BTW, these numbers do not include Sheriff or Fire Dept. This is not Gaspar's fault. This goes way back to Stocks and Bond, if not further.Having said that, I will still vote for Roberts, but I'm happy she made the runoff. She will at least not be on our Council/

  18. The city government is a bloated monster, over-staffed and under-worked. The pensions will break the back of this town, as these parasites suck the coffers dry. Limit pensions to 50% of the salary after 30 years - that is more than generous.
