Cardiff Kook joins millions in nationwide anti-Trump protests

  1. Maybe it is time we end our kook-phobia and try to be more inclusive.

While on the subject of kooks... should Marco and/or Meyer be allowed to attend HEU meetings with pending litigations?

Did I hear correctly that we actually built more low income housing than many coastal cities that have certified plans and are much larger?

  2. Here's a question you might want to ask about the kook, how much cash does the kook generate for Cardiff mainstreet?? And where do those monies go?? They have no fixed location, no staff. Seems they generate monies w/o expenses..... who gets what?? And why??

    1. Here's one image that won't go on a future Cardiff Kook calendar considering the guy who makes them voted for Trump.

  3. How much does the Cardiff Mainstreet group make off of OUR Kook? Where do those monies go?

They settled recently with the Kook Run promoter after suing him and trying to extract a quarter million bucks in the process from an event that gave back profits to charitable entities.

They couldn't have come off worse if they had tried. What a bunch of petty, petulant infants.

They are partially funded by the city and should have been castigated by the city for this selfish, self-centered move.

I am well aware the Cardiff group raised the funds for the statue and the city paid for the installation. They have never owned the Kook moniker. That was created by some creative local citizens commenting on the design that this same Cardiff Mainstream city funded group approved of. Kooks indeed.

In the end they all came to an agreement and some charities will benefit from the generated profits, which can only a good thing. Lets hope this group learned a lesson that won't be repeated.

Why did the city not weigh in on their misbehaving stepchild?

    1. Because one hand washes the other. Cardiff Main Street folks were only too happy to oppose Prop A, support Measure T, and push for the Leucadia Streetscape.

The Cardiff Main Streeters and the city need one another. The city has the same incestuous relationship with the other town groups.

    2. The Main Street Associations are chambers of commerce in disguise. The city gives Cardiff and Encinitas MS $20K each and Leucadia MS $30K of taxpayer money per year. Total is $70K.

      Disgraceful.

  4. HERE it is, clean proof that this blog is in fact operated by separate individuals. WC Varones is a psuedonym and it's pretty obvious that this blog was passed on to a new 'thought controller' a few months back with all this 'chatty Cathy' commentary by the new blog owner. JUST like the Encinitas Taxpayers Association, this 'institution' has been subverted by Cultural Marxists. Mark my words as you see the owner or manager of this blog start swinging left but it's not really about left or right, it's about a land of the free or a land controlled by socialism and Cultural Marxists. Last but not least. Socially engineered forced low income housing it the most socialist/Cultural Marxist move in our state why are none of you ever questioning the origins and 'state legislator-mandated edict? Understand 'Agenda 21' and that all of the City Council members are helping to create this 'environmental fascist and private property-destroying' UN control. Read smart and find the belly fire that has been programmed out of you to speak up, speak loudly and start helping Americans see the subversion that is rotting it from within. 1. 9:54, clarification: these are "alternative facts," right?

    2. Protip: when you use a make believe phrase like "cultural Marxism," don't expect to be taken seriously.

    3. Whew, 9:54 needs a new tinfoil hat. The old one is getting too loose.

  5. 9:54am. Thomas Roger Ogden cannot help himself from interjecting his right wing, tea party ignorance on our local blog from his Hillcrest or Normal Heights or some such San Diego neighborhood.

Clear proof? That is laughable, coming from one who has interminably spouted his hate on our local blog . Roger Ogden wouldn't know a clear truth, if it slapped him upside his head.

Why is he posting here? Does he post on any other local city blogs or is it just us that gets his attention?

Roger Ogden, there is nothing for you here. Go away, Stay away.

    1. hahahahaha...I knew this post would get a rise out of The Juice Man, but then he's easily pleased, isn't he? BTW if WC is a pseudonym, why do you post Anonymously, Juice Man? And while you're at it, buy a dictionary.

    2. Unless you're in agreement with him, 12:10, stop using his stupid code words. Call him by his name and what he is: Roger Ogden, whack job.

  6. When the botanical society commissioned the work, they failed to include the copywrite. The artist retained the copyright, which he gifted to the Cardiff Mainstreet group.

Like it or not, they own the copyright. You cannot use an image or likeness of The Kook to promote your business, calendar, tee shirt, race, etc. without securing a license from the rightful owner.

    1. That was NOT my question. My question was, where does all the revenue generated by the kook go?? Cardiff mainstreet has almost no expenses....Where's the money??

  7. Since the Mainstreet Org's are city sponsored and partly or mostly funded by the city, how does the city not have a say over what any one of these groups does or how badly they behave?

    1. It's collusion. The city and the orgs have the same goals.

  9. Its the kooks in the KLCC that keep the Leucadia freeway and surrounding areas from getting needed safety and infrastructure improvements.

Crazy Cameron, Marrs (says it all), and Fictionman have their mission -

Now take the oath - "I solemnly swear, that will serve the KLCC and say everything that pops into my head against any improvement to safety or aesthetics in Leucadia. Above all else, I will protect the high speed unsafe road conditions, and plant goatheads and other weeds and kill what others perceive as good plants in Leucadia like trees and flowers "

  13. Obvious proof that this blog has been taken over by a hardcore cuck libtard. The older libertarian that used to run it (as late as last year) is long gone. The kike you very much.

  14. 11:37am Thomas Roger Ogden , why do you bother us here in Encinitas with your hate filled life?

Go away. There is nothing and no one for you here.
