Hit-and-run suspect may be son of TV attorney Larry H. Parker

LA Times archives, 1995:
Larry H. Parker got me $2.1 million . . .Yeah, but woe be the pro team that has to negotiate for his son's services. Junior pitcher Justin Parker was 7-2 with a 1.34 earned-run average for Santa Margarita this season.

So coming soon to daytime TV:

Dad got me $2.1 million . . .
Hit-and-run suspect Justin Parker's work bio refers to playing college baseball, which would have been in the late 90's.

  1. Larry H. Parker takes a dive under the bed. The son will do jail time primarily for trying to evade responsibility; and probably now be culpable for some or all of the injured woman's medical costs, as she was uninsured.
I wonder if Larry is "mad as hell"? (See his commercials)

  2. Justin Parker turned himself in after he was informed that he'd be arrested. It was a courtesy gesture to probably save the family from embarrassment. He has young kids and that would be traumatic for them to see Daddy hauled away in chains. He'll make his plea in court tomorrow apparently.

    1. You shouldn't talk about people you don't know like this. I personally know their oldest daughter and they are a nice family. Justin would never do anything like this on purpose. He was scared. And also why would you need their home adress?

    2. I'm not the above poster, but I personally knew Justin from McAuliffe Middle school in Los Alamitos from 1989 to 1992. He was one of the worst, terrible bullies who had nothing better to do but make life hell for me and some of my friends. I had hoped that he would have grown up, matured, and become a better person but his selfishness, his actions that night, and later making fun of his victim are just more of what I remember of that monster from middle school.

  3. no happy ending anywhere here...

    1. If the family of the victim takes that $3M house and other assets, it will help care for the victim, and raise her daughters.

Maybe not a happy ending, but better than what they were facing a few days ago.

    2. $3 million dollar home?

    3. Correction: $2M

    4. What's the address?

    5. You’re on your own there. That would cross a line.

    6. "Cross a line" - give me a break. Like it's privy information.

    7. Then find it yourself. There's this thing they invented called the internet. Don't be so lazy, 3:49 and 6:08.

    8. 5:11 this is not crossing a line. The info is on whitepages, see below.

  6. Parker plead not guilty to the felony charges of hit and run. I suspect the defense will try to plea bargain a deal, as I cannot see how he can evade responsibility for the incident. The attempted evasion hangs around his neck like a millstone. I assume the multi-millionaire father will be secretly involved in the background.

    1. Not guilty? No moral compass...a real pillar of the community, isn't he.

  7. He apparently owns a Bentley. Unless he has a very good umbrella policy, I would kiss that goodbye.

    1. He has a number of client complaints lodged against him involing his career as a financial advisor. Running from the scene is one thing, but then the concerted attempt to evade detection is another - he deserves prison time. I suspect his neighbors noticed the suspect's truck "missing" and given the description of a bald guy in his 40's being the driver, clinchéd his exposure.

  8. City placing porta potty at Leucadia Roadside park. Council trying to stem tide of HepA that doesn't exist in Encinitas. Staff bringing crime and pestilence to Leucadia.

  9. That is seriously screwed up. What a way to attract bum and ruin property values. Who is running this shit show?

    1. Now they've added a hand wash station.... of course there are no towels to dry your hands after washing your hands but let's not focus on details. Let's focus on stopping the spread of a disease that doesn't exist in Encinitas.

    2. We should definitely wait until tens of people have died like in San Diego before doing anything, right?

  10. 10:18pm. You are wrong. Encinitas is not immune to Hep A. There have been some cases here.

Antibiotic wipes do not help. It takes hand washing with soap and water to be effective in stopping the spread.

This is a good thing for those that don't have any other means. Providing a solution for their toxic waste is a good thing.

As for paper towels, maybe that needs to be addressed, if true.

A little compassion for those less fortunate doesn't cost you a cent.

There but for fortune, is something to consider.

    1. I have a lot of compassion for those less fortunate, I have no compassion for the hooker that is using the porta to wash her hands after her john then wipes her hands on her T-shirt. The city has given her a " home" and guess where she'll stay during the winter rains?? How many condoms will go into the CAN??

    2. 8:41. That’s why I don’t use condoms or wash my hand after banging a hooker. Don’t want a raccoon going through the trash and getting herpes.

  11. Fricken City... Clean up Road side park.

    This is not San Fransisco.

City Council - You will be voted out of office so quick for not addressing this shit.

Get the fucking bums out of the park. Its called vagrancy. Enforce it!!!

Let the bums stay next to your house on in Cardiff, old enciniitas, Leucadia, new Encinitas, and Olevahain...

We should be feeling sorry for you.

    2. Quit whining Gary, it's just a porta-potty. The park is not your property.

  12. Saving lives.... ha

Wasting money and ruining property values.

Why not put a porta potty next to your home and invite the homeless to hang out.

    1. They are putting port-a-potties next to their homes. Only they are for the contractors remodeling their homes, not for the homeless. That's one of the perks they get for directing the homeless to your community. This park situation is interesting because it seems the homeless are being chased off from everywhere else.

  13. It would be nice if Gary did own the park, there wouldn't be any bed sheets laid out to dry in the sun, no cardboard boxes used as protection against wet grass then abandoned. No hookers!! No bums!! No needles!!

  14. 2:24- Good. Get the ones with severe mental problems help and the rest should get a job and "earn" some money.

Beggers are lost souls and those who support continuing the lost souls are losers. Encourage all to not give to the beggers and the cops need to flush them out and suggest they move to San Francisco or some other shithole were they are welcome.

  15. I agree. It would be much better if Gary owned the park.

The City only seems to screw everything up it attempts to fix. Bad leadership big time. Who is running this shit show?

I think it time for a needed change.

  16. 6:17 am - do you greet every day with your warm welcoming bile? Beggars are losers and those that may help them are lost souls? Or visa versa? Either way, you sir, are the real piece of human garbage.

  17. Just want everyone to know that I went to McAufiffe Middle school and Los Alamitos High School from 1989 through 1996 with Justin Parker. He was one of the worst bullies who had nothing better to do but make life hell for me and my buddies, and lots of other students I didn't know.

I had hoped that he would have turned a leaf and become a better person after all these years, but these events with him not caring about his victim, trying to get away with seriously injuring someone, and making fun of his victim just remind me of that same horrible person that I knew back so long ago.

And yes, his dad is that famous TV lawyer Larry H Parker. Guess some people make great lawyers but raise terrible kids.
