    1. I’d rather hear a million “er, um’s” than listen to Bob and Theresa again.

    2. That's how I feel about Campbell, nothing against him, but it's never clear what he's trying to say....

  2. someone needs to do a fact check on this State of the City address

  3. What does Molly Hintlian have against churches?

    1. I think it's being held at a church that provides outreach to the homeless/poor. The preference would be to not give icky places like that credibility.

    2. Clearly she thinks it should be on city property.....

    3. You think churches are 'icky places'? St. Andrews does a great deal for our community. They truly walk the talk.

    4. Of course you want to try to twist it 🙄

Why is city business being held in a church when there are numerous city properties?

    5. Remember when some people had a temper tantrum when a debate in the last elections was going to be held at St. Johns (I believe)? Same logic.

    6. St Andrews, not St. Johns, sorry.

No, I don't think it's icky at all. I support them 100%. I'm saying that's the motivation for not wanting the meetings held there. They don't want the poor and homeless to receive any help in Encinitas, their goal is to get them out of the city ASAP.

    7. See Elena Thompson's comments as further proof.

    8. Drink 2 times if you hear the term "homeless magnet"...

    9. Julie Thunder, Susan Turney, Alex Riley threw a fit and pulled out of the debate at St Andrews in 2020 even thought they got the questions in advance. Losers.

    10. Well, Susan Turney can't even understand how RHNA numbers work, but because she's a member of Our Neighborhood Voices, she thinks she knows everything

    11. Luke & Jim supporters/handlers also lost it when a debate was scheduled there. I'm guessing there was some overlap between the people involved with the two situations.

    12. The community center is an ideal location for all.

    13. Then lets hope our sensible and independent city council listens to whoever is behind the church hatred.

    14. Church hatred? Keep spinning it until you’re dizzy 😂

  4. San Diego got another "F" in air quality by the American Lung Association. California once again is ranked worst in the country. Keep electing Progressives who tell you everything you wanna hear.

In the meantime, hold you breath or get a SCUBA tank cause the ALA report is awful. CA leads the country COPD, ASMA, Lung Cancer, Cardiovascular disease and has more particulates in the air than any other country by a huge margin.

But yea don't let those little things called facts get in the way and lets keep paying for that clean gas, cause were making a difference or maybe it's Trump's fault.

    1. It's awesome that the MAGA Republican party is dedicated to improving the environment and US air quality. DUH!

    2. 8:45 Well we certainly know the Progressive Democrats don't care about the air quality in our state. They've failed on every level, and hoodwinked us on the clean fuel tax. Hopefully Blakespear will approve more hotels and resorts on our precious coast line this year. Love seeing all that runoff going right into the ocean. Thanks Blakespear.

    3. Now it will be exponentially worse due to the complete idiots in the white house. You make no sense.

    4. 9:02 I don't see the White House making any BIA, air quality, tax, road, school policy etc decisions in California.. I do however see Progressive Dems like Newsom, Pelosi, Shiff, Remer, Horvath and Blakespear making plenty of bad decisions.

But hey, you be you and don't let those little things called facts get in the way. Go team Blakespear!

    5. Pay attention to changes to national environmental laws. You must at least check out national news from time to time. National means all of us.
