The councilman didn't lie. He stated that the councilmen refused to apply for a grant to address homelessness (true), they refused to supply partial funding for the safe parking lot (true), have completely failed at supplying sufficient affordable housing (true), and are for some reason backing out of Buena Vista (true).

Many of us voted for them because we could no longer tolerate the way the City was being run. DeleteWe were all fooled when Bruce Ehlers promised not to appoint someone to his vacant seat after becoming Mayor. He lied. And then that for replacement Bruce demanded that they would commit to not running for the seat in the next election cycle. The appointee was Marco San Antonio, who of course is running for the seat. More unkept promises, just like the promise to stop developers-- even if Luke had to pick up a rifle to stop them. How's school going? Maybe he will get a second PhD in anger management. Staff can't stand Jim, because he is a jerk, and there's no fixing that. They will still be here long after Jim is turned out.
