Braking Badly

From the Inbox:

This was reported not a vibrancy-related incident.

  1. Just icing on the cake of loads of obnoxious activity last night. 7 pm a trio of drunks urinating in the smart & final parking lot, bent over street signs, and a council that doesn't give a hoot where vibrancy is taking us!

  2. As long as the businesses are happy, Council is happy, and isn't that what it's all about??

  5. No, I believe it's business as usual in Encinitas.

  6. 3:53 - did your report this or simple take a pic with your phone OR are you just making this shit up?

  7. Well documented, nothing made up. Tired of reporting to sheriff, love to put people on hold.

  8. So start a petition to abandon city hall, close all businesses, tell the fire and Sheriff to take a hike and see how many signatures you get.

  9. No need to close all business, just the boisterous bars.

  10. Is there such thing as a non-boisterous bar?

  11. There's obviously something between no new bar business and unfettered bar business.

The Council and Vina, though, in their headlong rush to maximize revenue, won't even consider enforced restrictions that work for residents and business.

  12. 3rd corner is a far cry from union.

  13. 3rd is a far cry and not located near residents, but the holy dollar at Union dictates Council inaction.

Vina must really be screaming at Council "need more revenue" in one ear and "lawsuits coming" in the other nice and loud, to keep the five in line.

    1. I'm sure you all realize that the Union is Marco Gonzalez's baby and he is the head of the Hospitality Committee. His firm, Coast Law, just joined DEMA and one of their attorneys, Dave Peck, is already on the board. Teresa loves Marco. he can do no wrong in her book.
