Cardiff Chevron targeted in manic I-5 crime spree

A man suspected of shooting up parked cars in Mission Hills and trying to rob an Encinitas gas station was arrested after carjacking a box truck in Torrey Pines and temporarily shutting down the Interstate 5 freeway early Tuesday morning.

At around 4 a.m., San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported knifepoint robbery at a Chevron station at 805 Birmingham Dr. in Cardiff.

    Of course, in the EUniverse (TM), there are only three answers to any topic: "vibrancy," "corrupt council and staff," or "evil profit."

      This nightmare was obviously due to someone drinking in downtown Encinitas again. When we outlawed liquor in Mayberry, Otis moved to Mount Pilot. When will crazy Californians ever learn?

    The Coast News said that David C. Meyer is suing the city on the density bonus issue. Gaspar was advised to recuse herself from the council vote to defend the city's position due to a "conflict of interest" with Meyer's attorney. Pretty obvious who she is in bed with. No to Gaspar for any political office in the future.

    Gaspar is running for County Supervisor against incumbent Dave Roberts. We could get her off the Council by voting for her for supervisor.
