Leichtag Foundation executive Charlene Seidle still pushing “anti-Semitism in Encinitas” trope

Nextdoor.com and Facebook:

The article she's complaining about is here:

It doesn't seem to be either anti-Semitic or written by anyone in Encinitas, and Seidle has blocked comments on the Nextdoor post.

  1. If there’s no anti-semitism in Encinitas, then what do you call that garbage you have to keep deleting from this blog, EU?

    1. There’s one internet crank who tries to post racist comments. We have no reason to believe he’s from anywhere near Encinitas.

    2. We have no reason to believe that you, EU, are from anywhere near Encinitas. Or me. Or anyone.

We could imagine that this blog is a bunch of people in Somalia debating the issues affecting a place they can only imagine.

      Except that would be silly.

  2. I read the article that was supposed to be offensive. Perhaps I missed something, but I don't see what the fuss from the Leichtag Foundation is all about. Was the article written in a juvenile way? Arguably, yes. Worth sullying your reputation over by fighting it hard on Facebook? I think not. Definitely not impressed with the Leichtag Foundation spokesperson....

  3. There are countless examples of racism and bigotry among the homeless lot opponent group now going by NC3. It was truly eye opening and frightening to get a glimpse at this side of so many of my neighbors.

At the same time, this so obviously isn't an example of that. It makes no sense why they chose this completely innocuous article to take a stand on. The author and article aren't only NOT antisemitic, they are actually pro-jew, pro-Israel and praising the homeless lot effort.

  4. This just dilutes their entire cause.

  5. Charlene Seidle must be buckling under the pressure to post this harmless article. Did she even read it carefully? Jim Farley, her boss, is going to be very unhappy. The writer Derek Rielly has already said in an email that the article is pro-Semitic. He was contacted through his website.

  6. My favorite part of the article was when he described the parking lot solution as “cheapish.”

Because nothing says not anti-Semitic like linking “Jews” to “cheap.”

I felt like the author missed an opportunity to mention noses.

  7. The Leichtag Foundation is an embarrassment. See author Derek Rielly's rebuttal against Leichtag Foundation spokesperson's charge of anti-Semitism:

  8. "Righteousness ... forged in the fires of the Holocaust." ... Absolutely right Varones. Nothing antisemitic about that phrasing ...

  9. Julie - a local hard working honest person focused on keeping Encinitas a safe chill beach town.

Blakespear - an attorney living in Mom's home coddled by Mom her whole life and is selling out Encinitas to developers (Mom's family owns alot of undeveloped property) and homeless builders. (Follows Newsomes failed policies.)

Hmmmm - I think I've heard many people say, you can not really trust attorneys. They speak out of both sides of their mouth depending on their interest.

Bottom Line - Anyone but Blakespear next election and her minion too.

  11. The Encinitas Guerrilla (10/28) hammers home the concrete queen’s profit project:

“ . . . look across the street at the new building on the north corner of H and 101. It’s a hulking mass of concrete fancied up with wood and glass,” Gram said. “It’s imposing and off-putting. I wouldn’t want to go inside for fear of being affected by the coldness and sterility of the place. I suspect that no real people work there, just robots.”

The Concrete Queen will say she’s for community character to get elected, but she secretly profits off the destruction of Encinitas.

    1. Correction. It’s ONE OF MANY projects the Thunders rang the register on by dumping dozens of concrete trucks on our beach town.

  12. ABC = Anyone But Catherine is what you'll see on my cars.

9:44/11:49 is one guy talking to himself and each time sounds more and more desperate.

You want to talk truckloads of cement? Just look at Blakespear's voting record and witness her BIA backbends. She's the one destroying paradise.

    ABC.

  13. ABC for sure. Blakespear represents high rises development and high rates of homeless all over town.

Not were I want Encinitas to go in the future.

  15. The anti-Semitism routine is the attempt to neutralize any criticism or opinion that doesn't align with Leichtag's mission. The "never-again" anthem is now multi-purpose and is over used. Injustices in history does not indemnify a group from debate on their motives or ambitions in current day affairs.

  16. Any sentient human being should know that beachgrit is theatrical garbage even worse than MSDNC or CNN (clinton news network)

The stupid must be re4ally thick at Leechtag.

BTW - I read the entire article and while it was painful and I lost brain cells because of it - it was pro Jew!

harlene Seidle you had one job and you failed miserably.

Immediately resign for the good of world order.

  17. This woman is the executive VP of that foundation and she pens tripe like that?

We live in an era where people are so ridiculous blinded by ignorance and hate that an "executive VP" of a large foundation like this cannot even have the common sense and intelligence to realize that beachgrit is mostly parody and furthermore the parody written by clowns.

She needs to take a class in common sense and reason stat!

Of course only after someone rescues her from her fainting couch.

    LOL

  19. Blakespear Supported by BIA, approved doubling density on Encinitas, and Newsome's action to house homeless on state public lands, is advertising for all the world's poor and homeless to come to Encinitas for free room and board.

Results- Encinitas will be super crowded with crowded beaches and people crawling all over themselves in our previously family friendly town. Drugged out homeless are skyrocketing in town and along with that sketchy crime.

Blakespear is the WORSED Mayor in Encinitas History. She is even more damaging to Encinitas than Stocks if you can possibly believe that fact. Possibly the worse Mayor in the County of San Diego history.
