DeleteFriends? We've known Paul and Kristin for years, and our kids went to preschool together. I had a fine relationship with Kristin for a time despite many disagreements on policy issues (e.g. County stance on cannabis). However, when she jumped squarely onto Trump's proverbial lap, that was it. As the son of a Mexican immigrant and with multiple family members and friends of Mexican descent here in the US (including many that have struggled with our country's immigration system), I was appalled by the anti-immigrant rhetoric Kristin spewed. I took that personally. Not much else to say about it.

Gaspar was extremely outclassed by her professionally qualified opponent in the County race and fortunately, her political career ended.
