The reason is the Federal Reserve printing presses are still going brrrrrrrrrrrr even after they turned it up to 11 in spring of 2020. Printing trillions, creating 2% mortgage rates and massive liquidity still ongoing has nothing to do with homeowners who saves and were prudent enough to buy and hold for the last 20-30 years. The boomers did the right thing and the trustafarians such as Catherine Blakespear want to punish them. Here is a woman who never really worked a day in her life, was given high end residential and commercial properties for free, maneuvered right before the tax code laws changed so she would not need to pay "HER FAIR SHARE" ( reassessment at substantiually higher taxes) when ownership changed and now is literally fucking over the most prudent people in ENcinitas. The sad part is most of you that now dislike her shit policies voted for her. Good job!
