  1. Tasha campaigning hard on everything from ERGA tax burden on residents to sexual harassment reporting practices. Endless trying to show she's doing her homework, almost.

Could her campaign be in trouble? She sure sends out enough daily reminders to send her money....

  2. Jesus blakespear wake up and do the right thing. Scrap your precious streetscape and other trophy projects and spend it on safe streets and make them ADA compliant.

Guess that's not as good a resume builder though as the developer-driven checklist she's currently working off.

This is the second time she's telling the same fellow in a wheelchair "you'll be happy" we're looking into this, all dependent of course on a drawn-out undergrounding of utilities that bye has no due date.

She is a disgrace. They all are.

    3. According to the MyEncinitas site: Kranz Family Trust.

  4. So the feasibility guy states that density bonus increases land value and he modeled his calculations based on developers using density bonus.

The city assumes zero density bonus in its Measure U units they're claiming we'll get.

The usual lie of omission we've come to expect: the city downplays the impact of Measure U.

  5. Baldwin dude up there way past his three min. City do love their developers.

  6. Kranz asks Brenda what a workshop means to her. She wouldn't know one if it fell on her head. Witness her performance last week at the Beacon's "workshop." She got hammered.

    1. She needs to go. Under her direction, the staff at the bottom are bullied and the high profile--highly paid are worse than ever.

  7. The top manager needs to go. This city is run like a sad joke. It makes Oceanside and Huntington Beach look like a well run Cities.

  8. Catherine and Karen going in circles over whether a vote was needed on a SANDAG item was pretty funny. Catherine didn't want to vote and dug in like she must've done at age 5 and asked Karen why she was trying to "force her to vote." Sabine backed up Karen. Something about the rail trail and a screw-up between SANDAG and the city. Shocking, not shocking.

    1. Why is Sabine still City Attorney? He has siphoned off millions into his private practice over the years and is firmly entrenched with the developer cabal. He should have been flushed years ago! Blakespear - are you listening??

    2. Referred legal issues to his practice for consideration.

  9. In case this doesn't get its own thread - from a Facebook post by Tasha opponent Elizabeth Warren:

Tasha promised no dirty tricks. Guess she had her fingers crossed at the time. The latest finance report shows she spent upwards of $20K on the attorneys who represented a shill challenging my ballot designation. Talk about waste. I defended my designation--and won--because we had truth on our side. I don't worry about the PAC money she wasted, but I do feel sorry for all the nice individuals who gave her donations. I wonder if they knew this was how she'd spend their money? What about integrity, fiscal responsibility, and keeping your word? This was money down the drain--for nothing positive. (Imagine how many yard signs she could have bought with that much cash!) #SmokingGun #FollowTheMoney #CheatersNeverProsper #Stick2TheIssues

The post includes the FPPC expenses filing form showing the expenditure.

  10. This is classic Tasha. Remember how she drew the maps and wouldn't fess up until caught? Something is seriously wrong with a person this far removed from having the ability to walk the straight and narrow.

No doubt like Shaffer and Blakespear, they know best and will do anything to impose it on us.

How anyone with any ethics can support her is beyond me.

    1. Horvath is not fit for office. She thinks her gerrymandering will help propel her upwards into higher political office. She is untrustworthy and needs to be stopped at the midterms.

  11. # 1 Cancer at city hall is City Attorney. Everyone knows this but council.

  12. Tony Kranz and Kurt Groseclose spotted at the Oktoberfest with a yes on FU table. Anyone get close enough to hear the propaganda?

Tony will say anything to pass the developer's' plan. Kurt's already proven he will, too.
