There is no reason that those who are managing the grant should be getting six-figure salaries while the the people in the program will be living in their cars and using porta-potties. The people who are running the program should not be making anything but the bare minimum from this program, and the majority of the funds should go directly to the recipients.

Second, the mayors emergency status to get around public input is what it is. Completely worthless and illegal. It either meets the one thousand number or it does not.

Some young mother claimed a bum appeared ready to attack her little kid at the Moonlight Beach playground - she got inbetween them and stopped his forward advance. I know because they would walk up and down my easement several times a day. respectful hardworking and polite homeless men. They didn't steal anything and never left trash down in area. Now we have anew breed of entitled mostly white guys and they are mean and feral. How is it the people from other countries were willing to DO ANYTHING and this new breed does nothing. Do you ever see any new homeless mowing lawns or pulling weeds? I've run out of compassion for this new bunch and I could care less. Today I am putting new locks on all my sheds. Never worried about that in the 80s'. Pity.

On the corners of Encinitas Blvd and Manchester one can see at times, over thirty individuals waiting to be picked up for what I can only guess is work, everyday. They are seen coming from canyons, walking thru neighborhoods and trespassing on the Rite Aid property. I talked to the manager at Rite Aid. They contacted the authorities, nothing. The canyon dwellers stand there talking on cell phones. Where do they come from??? Why there at that spot?
Hmmmm? And not one person at the city council makes any attempt to remedy this issue.
I guess it's more important to ban plastic straws and consider banning new natural gas services. And most of all, rezone land for ghetto apartments and bum parking as I am sure these bum mobiles carry the correct insurance.
I'll say this: I've never had a white face show up at my door, asking for house or yard work.
