Previously after going through regular school policy grade challenge procedures the grade was not changed. Mother of this student held a fundraiser for Muir in July and then suddenly the grade issue is worthy of a special board meeting, meanwhile school starts on Tuesday and some districts schools like Oak Crest Middle School don’t even have an assistant principal, a nurse, or the Principal’s secretary hired yet despite having the whole summer to prepare. The interim superintendent can’t seem to handle the job. Muir lives in Tahoe, she should stay there.
