  1. Tony's plan to build the homeless industry is working. Lets open the homeless shelter next your your house and lets look just like Oside Blvd with all the sketchy drug addicts chasing your teenagers pushing drugs and boners. This is great news Tony. Thanks!

The latest report from the San Diego Regional Task Force on Homeless found the number of people who fall into homelessness continues to outpace the number of people who are housed.
Data compiled from October show 1,343 people became homeless for the first time that month, while 647 homeless people found housing.

Those that voted for our town dunce are responsible for this failure.

Tony saids let open the homeless shelter and get this party started.

  2. The parking lot and prospective shelter get homeless off the streets, out of parks, offer them safety and services to help them get back into their feet.

    Sounds good to me.

But for some reason, the less intelligent amongst us prefer them to remain on our streets and in our parks.

  3. The small number of homeless living in their cars that make use of the homeless parking lot does not equate to the vast number of homeless sleeping by councils permission in their vehicles all over our city along with the even more vast number of homeless without vehicles that have found our city to be so welcoming because of our current council majority's decision to invite the homeless here without our having a say is frustrating, to say the least. Now we will have our own homeless shelter which will attract even more to our town.

Why? Who is pushing this on us? What are we supposed to be gaining from becoming so welcoming to every homeless person from all over who hear how 'nice' we are by allowing anyone to sleep in their vehicles all over town besides in the approved homeless parking lot?

  7. Good Morning!

Well I'm happy to report that Tony and John's new welcome homeless sketchy neighbors that they have invited to live in front of your home and will soon have a new homeless shelter build by your tax dollars and inviting more homeless sketchy drug addicts to pillage your home.

Here is my favorite part of this mornings homeless report:

About 45 minutes later, he allegedly carjacked a Ford F-250 at gunpoint at a gas station in the city of Monahans, in Ward County, Texas, but he was shot once in the chest and crashed. He was arrested a short time later.

Found in the stolen pickup was a 9mm handgun, registered to Villegas, according to the warrant.

On Sept. 23, San Diego police served a search warrant at Villegas’ home on Garnet Avenue. Detectives found clothes that matched those worn by Garcia’s suspected killer: two black sweaters, a pair of tan pants and a pair of black Nike shoes with sand on the bottom. They found three 9mm shell casings — similar to the casing found on the beach where Garcia was killed — and an empty gun case.

Texas folks can apparently fend for themselves. Unlike the racist screaming commies around this area. Ha!!

Well enjoy your influx of homeless sketchy people from all of CA and around they world. Think of them as presents from Tony Kranz!

  9. What’s even scarier is that supposedly 47% (basically half) of residents who voted were stupid enough to invite more crime by voting for the dipshit. Or were they? I have a hard time believing the majority of votes went to someone as corrupt and asinine as Tony. Either I’m overly optimistic about the average residents intelligence and principles, or there was some major fraud that went down with the ballot counting.

What’s this “POS domestic terrorist party“ you are dropping.

Why are you throwing that term around?

Seems to me that Democratic Party trying to strip people from the freedoms is more of the terrorist party.

I think you need to read a few books on liberty and the constitution to understand all of the freedoms you were given .

  11. Look dummy, you can’t just send the homeless somewhere else.

First of all, that’s been ruled unconstitutional. Second of all, there’s nowhere else that wants them. So every town ends up trying to move the homeless “somewhere else” with a net impact of zero.

It’s a waste of resources with no result.

    Did I mention it’s unconstitutional?

Best if every town spends the resources that would have gone to ineffectively moving the homeless around into some basic shelter and services.

In summary, stop being a moron and an asshole to your fellow man.

  12. 10:48- there’s no hope for you. Your brain is too far gone. You are part of the group that is building the problem and creating an entire homeless industry.

Don’t focus on building, inhumane, homeless shelters in having people sleep in the car. It is completely evil.

Have churches and nonprofits and state organizations run psychological programs to help the homeless get off of their drug addictions, and put them in programs to help them develop skill.

A workingman is a happy Man. Or at least they stay out of trouble, and they’re happier than drug addict dead people. So pull your head out of your ass and starts supporting government programs that address the drug addiction issue and quit building, homeless shelters, and parking lots for people to waste their lives.

The more you encourage people to give up all of their freedom and live on the street, the more you are encouraging that type of bad behavior. You’re probably in the ass wipe that gives the bomb on the corner a dollar and promotes his alcohol problem. You are a part of his problem..

  19. SANDAG's failed rail plan that BIA supports along with our town dunce has flown off the rails. Its a train wreck and here is why:

Most urban mass transit wet dreams are centered on "light rail." Building and running choo-choo's (damn the cost, or the usage) sends a tingle up the legs of central planners.

But in America, passenger rail seldom makes sense (if EVER). Most U.S. cities were built around the CAR. The resulting low DENSITY of people makes shoe-horning fixed rail, hugely expensive, seldom-used trains into such cities a horrible waste of money when gauged by the cost per passenger mile.

Arguably it works in NYC. Arguably not. But the density issue makes passenger rail an idiotic choice for 98+% of America's cities.

Again, the key is population DENSITY per square mile:
    NYC -- 27,013
    Manhattan -- 69,468
    Los Angeles -- 8,749
City of San Diego -- 4,020

Buses are also inefficient, but the total cost per passenger mile using trains is 15-30 times more than cost per passenger mile using buses.

And BTW, remember that just about ALL big cities are losing population to the suburbs -- if not to more distant, smaller, livable cities and towns. The big city traffic load will stagnate or reduce over time -- not blossom like the bureaucrats love to claim with their bogus population projections.

  33. More on the great SANDAG boondoggle that of course our town dunce supports.

All this "planning" is based on a fundamentally false assumption -- that the population of California and San Diego will keep growing as in the past.

The CA population started shrinking BEFORE the pandemic. Since then, our CA population has been dropping even faster, with NO sign that this trend will reverse.

Moreover, the CA age 0-17 state population peaked in 2004! Since then that population number has dropped -- EVERY SINGLE YEAR.

San Diego's population (city and county) has all but stopped growing, and the trend indicates that both will start slowing shrinking in coming year or two.

Check out the comments below the article. They are spot on.

    SAN DIEGO

A 30-year-old man who got into a fight near the Old Town transit center early Monday was stabbed twice in his chest and rushed to a hospital, San Diego police said.

The victim left the Old Town trolley station shortly before 7:30 a.m., and was near the intersection of Taylor Street and Pacific Highway when he was approached by an unknown man and the two began to fight, police said. The victim was stabbed twice in his upper right chest by the assailant, who took off and was not immediately located.

Police responded, and the victim was taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is expected to survive, police said.
A detailed description of the suspect was not released. No other details were immediately available.

But there were criminal charges against Lorri Greene for shoplifting. And of course there’s the inappropriate patient client relationship/s that resulted in getting her license to practice counseling taken away. It’s no wonder Lorri Greene was encouraging the EV community to rally behind Cremona. Unethical people typically surround themselves w/other unethical people. Maybe Conkey can take over the page if Lorri steps down like she keeps threatening to do, now that Conkey’s legal problems are done. Or are they? Anyone know what Tracey Conkey’s punishment was/is? 2. So call her out 3:49. Surely not everyone is blocked from EV who has 1800 members. Who welcomed her back? And would you please let it go with Green. OK you hate her. We get it. However, the only person who spends this much time picking on a a 75 years old woman with health problems is either Jeff or Kim. The rest of us don't care. What exactly did she do to hurt you to make you such aa spiteful person?

      Delete
    3. 5:24- I can tell you what she did. She didn't kiss Kim and Jeff's butt and blocked both of them from EV. They said it was unfair and they would get her. I guess the only place they can get her is under an anon. post. My concern is over Kranz giving Mali a seat at the table. That is a real concern, not some bullshit nonsense K and J keep spinning.

  38. 5:36 K & J haven’t spun anything. Believe it or not, the rest of us in the community have eyes and ears. Awareness is not exclusive to J & K. We’ve all noticed how Lorri kicked anyone off EV who didn’t bow down to her and agree w/her(not just J & K). Lorri built EV by falsely claiming she was neutral. Yet she made it known she was gunning for another unethical person like herself with Cremona. Lorri’s “Safe Space” psychobabble claimed to provide people a place to express their views, but it was a farce. Instead she was axing people right and left. Bullies like her on a power trip shouldn’t be Therapists. So thank God she lost her license. People who are feeling down and out, don’t need a bad Therapist who kicks people to the curb for simply expressing a different view. And btw, most of us aren’t falling for the “poor me, I’m a 75 yr old lady act.” If she can’t take the fire, stop dishing it out, and get out of the way! But she won’t. She LOVES the power trip!

Did she steal something from one of the, Funny, her email to the City said she was too ill to participate, but hey, that's probably bulshit too. God, of all the things in this town, you are concerned about a woman that has no power, is not liked by the Council so she is not looking for the D1 position, and oh yes, she is a racist. That one I put in for Mali. Did I miss anything. Now, go suck on your drink and let the rest of us have a conversation about things that really matter in Encinitas. By now I am sure she has heard about your bullshit and is setting you up well. But you're too stupid to get it.

  40. Lorri G lost all credibility with me when she posted a sexual harassment or assault claim against a member of council and then immediately deleted it.

If the claim is true, then make it and stand by it. Making the claim and immediately deleting it certainly seems like she knew it was BS and she was going to get her ass sued off. Putting that kind of cloud over someone in a way that doesn’t allow them any avenue to challenge it and clear their name is a very shitty and chickenshit thing to do.

But Lorri won’t delete any of them. She likes to keep dysfunctional people like Tracey. But Lorri eliminates anyone who is ethical who has a brain. It makes her feel superior to everyone. It also gave her the false illusion that she was the smartest most powerful person on her Facebook page when she continually deleted nice folks.

In a real one on one race where Morris would be exposed, he wouldn't' have a chance. He had ZERO issue solutions, just vitriol and rhetoric.

  43. 9:21 Sexual assault? Wow, I can see where Lorri lost all credibility when she falsely accused a CIty Counsel member of that. As much as many of us don’t like the current CC members, claiming sexual assault when there was none, is what people here are talking about when they describe Lorri as unethical. And this is only one of many incidents that have earned her the reputation she has. Her reputation is no-ones fault but her own. And anyone that defends or condones her behavior, I’d have to question their morals and ethics as well.

      Delete
    2. Not Turney.

If you want to know, it takes some homework. I did it years ago.

      1) Go back to the earliest days of the blog. Ask yourself what was the subject that this person was so passionate about that triggered them to start the blog in the first place. You’ll find one wonky topic that shows up out of proportion to what the average person would care about.

2.) If the moderator of the blog was so passionate about that subject, it’s likely they were also writing op-eds and speaking at council meetings on the same subject during that same timeframe. Go do some research on who was publicly speaking out on that topic under their own name.

3.) If you come up with a name or two, compare your possibilities to what is known about the person behind this blog. For instance, they moderate another blog on wonky finance topics that only people in the finance industry would care about. Also, the early videos on the WC Varones YouTube channel are all from San Francisco. Look up your names on LinkedIn etc, and see if they were in SF during the same period.

      You get the idea.

There’s a bunch more clues, but I won’t divulge them here, lest WC starts deleting the bread crumbs.

It’s not that hard. Probably took me an hour to figure out and confirm.

  51. When Lorri Greene removed and blocked Mali from EV, she later claimed that she never did it.

A while back, on Encinitas Politics, EV member Jim O'Hara kept arguing and arguing with people because he believed what Lorri said when she claimed she never blocked Mali...despite the fact that there where MULTIPLE threads elsewhere where Lorri talked ad nauseum about how she removed Mali and blocked her from EV. Why Jim O'Hara couldn't let it go or listen to anyone else's point of view is beyond me. It's like he had this strict narrative (Mali=bad, Lorri=good) that he can not let go of.

Lorri blocked Mali from EV and after the 2020 election, she removed a lot of people for no reason. There was no rule breaking and she even commented in Progressive Unity that she removed those people because "EV will be changing direction and they won't like the changes"

Um, did she ASK them if they would like the changes? No, she just assumed. And the changes never happened anyway.

Lorri is a well meaning person, but she is troubled (as witnessed by her suicidal facebook post several years ago that resulted in the police going to check on her and the 51 50 she had not too long ago)

Lorri has created an echo chamber where people like Bob Nichols and Steve Golden think that posting negative comments is actually a productive use of their time. Keep it up, fellas, because the way Nichols, Golden, Graves, and Flores constantly trolled Blakespear's page only demeans your own points and your trolling helps get Catherine elected. (I'll throw you a bone, Bob, and let you in on the secret, only because I know you are too narcissistic to actually set your ego aside and contemplate the truth of this: if you post your truth once, it carries weight. But to post it on EVERY post of Catherines, to post it mulitple times in the same thread, to post it in response to supporters as a way to argue, to respond to people one, two, three, six times arguing with them? It makes you look crazy. It turns off undecided voters. You may have legitimate points to make, but the way you do it is like the boy crying wolf. You aren't changing any minds with those tactics. It comes across as childish and mean spirited and it draws the focus to YOUR behavior, not Catherines. Hell, even suing her didn't help take her down...and she was in the wrong in blocking you! My respect for Ruben has taken quite a hit after seeing how he conducted himself. I want to be fair and assume that he was well intentioned, but we see this played out all over society: people get so worked up that in their tunnel vision, they don't realize how their posts may be coming across to others. And when we point it out the them kindly, they lash out and explain why they're right, or why they do this, or what's wrong with the person they just have to attack. But, dude, you lost the forest for the trees...

Ruben used to talk about servant leadership, which certainly can't be seen in how he conducts himself on social media.

When the group can get to a reasonable size, her idea is to do what she attempted 8 years ago.

  56. This is what Lorri lives for, literally. More manufactured drama to provide a pittance of self worth.

  57. Interesting that Lorri mentioned tonight this blog, and made a joke about ‘oh, apparently I’m a murderer, ha ha.’

Note that she chose to address only something that was obviously unserious.

At the same time, she chose not to address the more serious issues, like her losing her license to practice for ethical violations, a shoplifting allegation, and her nutter posting and immediate deletion of a sex crime allegation against a council member years ago.

She chose to make a dumb joke about the easy thing, and not to address the hard things.

    Interesting choices.

  58. 8:07 & 9:07 Yep! Lorri is slurping up every drop of attention she can here on UC. She’s so starved for validation that she broadcasts this on EV, even though it’s negative. Very telling that she only addresses the one thing someone said as a joke, and not her actual real crimes. Next she’ll start seeking sympathy by threatening to shut down EV again.🙄 Then she’ll seek even more attention by bragging about her measles list of accomplishments. Her lame claim to fame redundant mantra is quite pathetic:

    1) “I walked with Martin Luther King.”
    (In the dark ages).
    2) “I marched with feminists in the 60’s
and burned my bra, b/c I hate men...
    3) ...except my husband, b/c he was a
‘Rocket Scientist.’ I don’t really like
him. But marrying him is on my brag
list of accomplishments, b/c I’ve been
able to live vicariously through him.
(that was in the dark ages too).
    4) “I built EV by lying and telling people
it was a safe space to express their
    views, b/c I’m a poser. I did a bait and
    switch lopping off numerous members
for no apparent reason other than I’m
on a huge power trip. Well b/c, you
know, I’m the only person to have
ever had a FB page. I tell everyone
it’s stressful and ruining my health, b/c
    whining garnishes sympathy I crave.”
(It’s the only thing I’ve done in “ages.”)

    2. Wait till you're all old and repeating yourselves over and over and living through your past while managing age related illnesses.

Be nice, because one day you'll walk in those shoes.

On the other hand, when it comes to Stan, just keep blasting away! There's no insults bad or low enough for that moron.

  59. Man, who brags about the Measles these days?

    ReplyDelete
  60. 10:10 Yep! As you say, it’s not an age thing. As we’ve repeatedly seen, Lorri’s been burning her bridges for years now, and it’s biting her in the ass. She’s done this to herself. So enough w/her “poor me” act. I think people were actually overly kind sugar coating things and saying she looks good for for her age. Because in all honesty, she looks like a POS. But we digress, b/c no one cares that she’s let herself go. The real problem is how she treats others and who she is on the inside. And it’s not pretty. She’s repeatedly shown what a POS she is on the inside, so no one is buying her “poor me,” victim act. Lorri’s the one that’s been perpetrating evil deeds on everyone right and left. Didn’t she learn anything about this before her license was yanked for her illicit behaviors? If a 75 yr old woman still hasn’t learned to take responsibility for her actions, at her age, she’ll never learn how to “own it!” The first step for her, is recognizing she has a problem, which we know will never happen. So sadly, we’re stuck w/the cranky old bat!

  61. She should have sued $tocks to high heaven years ago for his unbecoming atrocious behavior at a party with his wife there, no less. You trolls are despicable. What goes around, comes around, and you trolls are overdue for some instant karma. If this is not moronic behavior..... it is. Lorrie has always warned people before deleting them from her site when they ignore her requests to keep it clean and on topic. She is worthy of our respect for those that can grasp the meaning of respect. You trolls show your lack of an awareness of respecting others, whether you agree with the topic at hand or not.

There is an easy fix. Don't go there. Create your own blog where you can spew all the vitriol you care to.

Lorri is on the hit list because she didn’t and wouldn’t let the Morons and his right wing crazies destroy her page.

      Pathetic.

  63. Not Lorrie, but you knew that. She would use her name, not like you, you moron.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Note to everybody commenting on EV: Lorri Greene spells her name as you see it in this sentence.

    ReplyDelete
  65. BFD. No one cares how you spell your name.

    ReplyDelete
  66. If you're going to post about someone, you could do the courtesy of spelling the name right. Plus, it would lend some credibility to what you post. Do you live in Insinitus?

  67. 4:42 Love the auto correct typo/Freudian slip of “hugeness” rather than your “highness.” Thx for the chuckle! On a serious note, I’ve seen Lorri in person many times over the years, and she is in fact “huge.” So I’m having a hard time picturing any men making a pass at her. To be fair, I’ve also seen Stocks around over the years. And although he’s no looker himself, I never got the feeling he was someone that strayed, or is a player. I’m not sticking up for him if he did something inappropriate, but he doesn’t have a reputation for being inappropriate. Maybe he just complimented her, and she blew it out of proportion like she does almost everything. After all, in addition to her other flaws, Lorri has gained a reputation of being a drama Queen who fabricates almost everything.

    1. Wow is your picker ever off. You can keep trying to drum up fake news but it escapes no one’s attention that you are talking to yourself on most of this page.

Starvin’ Garvin no longer in the spotlight? Off the newspaper’s “call for an opinion” list? Off EV? Basically no longer relevant if he ever was.

  68. The pompous one has me wondering who brought him here to muck things up. He is a good mucker fracker. I have to hand it to him for mucking this recent election up. That is being more polite than he deserves. That a candidate sold out and bought into his crap, is worthy of a wtf?

  69. 3:00 Wow is your guesser ever off. Just b/c you talk to yourself doesn’t mean others do. I just got home from a business trip and was surprised to see the slug of comments about Lorri. But then not really. She’s been burning her bridges for a long time. So I added my own personal comment and observation. And we DO still have this thing in America called Free Speech. So sorry to disappoint you, but you can’t delete me like Lorri does to people.

    1. The first amendment right to free speech does not apply to privately held social media. Whoever owns the site can include or delete whatever he/she wants.

It applied to Bleakspear's Facebook page because she's a public figure using the page for campaign, self-promotion and other public purposes.

  70. What is the big deal about Lirti deleting people in her FB page? It is no different than Jeff and Kim deleting all the people that didn’t agree with their rhetoric. Geez it is just social media people.

  71. The difference between the morons and Dr. Lorrie? Where have you been? Hiding your head in the ground? What is wrong with you people. Attention deficient disorder? Too much time on your dumb smart phone?

    ReplyDelete
  72. No one is hiding their head, the point is why are you all making such a big deal about to FB pages that have less than 4% of the population as members. No one cares.

  73. 2.43. I care. Those 4 percent on EV vote. And since I can’t stand Kranz and cronies I want to be a part of taking them down. The only FB group that tries to do this waa EV. So no one complain when you’re blocked come mid January.

  74. Sorry who has their head in the sand this time. WD routinely blocks people if they don’t like what they. As well as Encinitas Now and Encinitas Progressve Unity.

  75. Lorri Greene is the only site that has consistently deleted people the vast majority of the time for no other reason than, she has a bug up her butt. And she’s also on a power trip and loves to whine and get sympathy over nothing. She really needs to get a real problem. “No one cares” about her hang nails, metaphorically speaking.
