I was driving home from Trader Joe's this morning after I dropped my son off at summer camp and saw ICE tying these people up at Home Depot.
I watched as these two people were disappeared into unmarked vehicles, with one of the ICE vehicles trying to back into me when I wasn't looking.
Another woman tried to help. An ICE agent tried to slap her phone down when she tried to get a phone number to call this man's family. They wouldn't let her. Instead, they whisked him away and accused her of obstructing justice.

It takes years to negotiate the details of a single trade agreement before Congress can enact it through legislation.
What’s being announced are “concepts of a plan.” Frameworks. No details. Congress cannot enact a framework with no details.
By analogy, it’s like the owner and a buyer of a house talked at a cocktail party and agreed to sell a house. There is no contract, no specific price, no real estate agents, no agreement on how much the RE agents will be paid, or who is responsible for paying them, how much will be placed into escrow, which escrow, how long escrow will be, title insurance details, home warranty, inspection, if the inspection finds mold and radon, who is financially responsible for mitigation.
Without details, THERE IS NO “DEAL.”
In an emergency the President has the power to levy tariffs, just as other countries have been doing to us for the last 40 years.
