What's a spring egg?

  1. Good question.

A long time ago, some guy was tortured and mutilated and people created a death cult around the event. They honor him by pretending to be cannibals and drinking his blood. Some of them are also expected to divulge their darkest secrets to a team of child molesters, even though the Bible doesn’t say anything about that.

Every Spring we celebrate the torture/mutilation cult by lying to children about a fictional rabbit and colorful eggs, even though rabbits don’t lay eggs, and the Bible says nothing about rabbits or eggs, colorful or otherwise.

Some folks like the part about the bunny and the eggs which seems like harmless fun, but are a little queasy about the death cult/cannibalism stuff, so they just call them “Spring Eggs.”

    I hope this helps.

  3. I am struggling with the metaphysical implications of Easter and April Fools Day both falling on the same date this year. It might be the end.

  4. It’s an egg that a fire princess lays when they sit in their movie lounger for too long at the station.

  6. "Spring Egg Hunt" is a deliberate and political end run around using the term "Easter" because it supposedly honors Jesus Christ and that's politically incorrect today by our government to even hint at the story of Jesus being credible, citing it as unfair to other religions, atheists or any number of others looking for a frivolous lawsuit they can win. "The word Easter is of Saxon origin, Eastra, the goddess of spring, in whose honor sacrifices were offered about Passover time each year." Way back when, the string pullers basically let the peasants know "We'll let you keep your pagan holidays, but we're calling them something else." Typically, they're calling them other things again.

    1. There's this little known, particularly among anti-Americans who like to pretend they're ultra patriotic, concept called "separation of church and state". It's crazy, I know, but there are probably some countries in the middle east where lots of religious stuff influences the way things are run, so I'm sure you could find a place you'd like over there.
