ReplyDeleteI bet he and his girlfriends had a few letters sent to them from attorneys representing residents in the area. If I had money I would hire a few attorneys to send letters to the City of Encinitas suggesting if they gave the o.k to rezone rural property to ghetto zoning, they could expect a flurry of lawsuits. Thank the gawds for Encinitas Undercover keeping us in the loop. Watch out for goodson, he is up to no good.

I have sat next to randy goodson a couple of times at council meetings over the last two years and used that opportunity to poke the bear by suggesting he offer 50% affordable units.
ReplyDeleteIt was apparent where I stood. This was when he was pushing for around 140 units.
I was not surprised at all that he came back with such an increase. It is who he is. It what he does.
I am sure he will be back with a somewhat mitigated proposal, but anything above the original 140 should be just as vehemently opposed at the 277.
I have no idea how the neighbors felt about the 140 at the time or how they may feel if that number resurfaced. I seriously doubt he will come back with anything near the original 140 units.
Leave it to the miserable and cranky denizens of this blog to find a way to make this positive story into a negative shit storm.
