  1. Mayor positively giddy at Busby's rereading of Levin's proclamation before Congress over Hubbard.

Now gushing over her special proclamations. Maybe not giddy for long.

Catherine, put down the spiked Kool-Aid and try to pay attention to the doses of reality coming up.

  2. Good Job Julie Thunder- At least you speak up against AB- 9 nad AB 10. Our City Council does not give a shit about Encinitas or its citizens. Its all about supporting the retards in Sacramento densifying the coastline.

    Thank you Julie!!!

  3. Kellie tried looking more bored if you can. You're not rolling your eyes enough. Crack your neck and do Zoom yoga more often. And try to find a bigger thermos to slug from, the one you need both hands to lift is too small.

Are you really not that interested or just noncomprehending virtually everything that's said? Pick one.

  4. Crimmons for planning commission will get the nomination. Speaking in code to the mayor and BIA: "I know how to get to Yes." BAM! Done.

    ReplyDelete
  5. First two commissioner applicants were spot on. The should run for City Council. The last guy was a tool. Guess who they will appoint.

  8. Robert, Program Manager for aerospace. Wife with roots since 1960s. Spoke nicely to the City Council. He is spot on - yes vote. He said climate change. Is he going to say equality? If so, he's a shoe in. Joe suck ass joined in to sell Robert. He didn't even have a question.

He spoke as a suck ass so he's perfect.

    5. It's a good thing that everybody isn't as dumb as 8:33. Shoo-in vs. shoe-in isn't grammar, you idiot, it's knowing one word from another.

The sign and the city say the beach is Beacon's, so where did you get those other names?

Figure out the difference between "your" and "you're." It's not "try an convince," it's "try to convince." Did you make it past fourth grade?

    6. No... English is not my preferred language. Did you do anything good with your life?

you sound like an old privileged loser to me.

    7. 8:48 You can't write a simple sentence. What makes you think anybody values your ignorant opinions?

What book? "Images of America: Encinitas"? "Legendary Locals of Encinitas"? "Miles Minor Kellogg and the Encinitas Boathouses"?

Post in your preferred language so readers can see how smart you really are.

    8. Why are you picken on me gramps? Have a bad day or life?

I wasn't thinking about if someone values my opinions. I was merely posting a stupid blog post. I know you will spell check this post and prove you know the latest proper English language of 60 years ago. Wow. I really respect you old loser geezer.

Not to happy about they things turned out aye?

Well, you not alone. Why not try and mediate. Find your interpeace. Try not to be such a previleged ass wipe.

I doubt the meditiation will happen but good luck. Watch the scrooge twice a year is your best hope. Oh yeah- turn in your keys. You are a menice to society.

    9. 10:15 You're right about one thing: Your blog posts are stupid. That's because they come from a stupid source. You're an idiot who should stop posting. You have nothing positive to contribute, and your criticisms are worthless.

They seem to be looking the other way concerning the re-zoning of horse property into ghetto apartments of seven stories. Maybe some people need to pay a visit to these asshats.

  11. Let see of BIA says anything, or is she focused on the state passing higher density for Encinitas and other coastal cities.

I'm shocked they picked Christine. She is smart, pretty and quick. She will run circles around them. Next up, Christine should run for City Council and punt these losers.

    Vote out these clowns... ASAP.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Kangaroo court vote kicked off by Hinze, just one rung below Blakespear on the party tool ladder.

Christine, their not-mysteriously unanimous pick already said she supports Streetscape...but will listen...but has made up her mind...but will listen. Yeah, right. Listen to the BIA is more like it.

Did they charge for the BLM paddle out?

Just tell your family/friends not to invite a lot of folks to your paddle out when you kick the bucket!

  15. Hell yeah. Each $450/ permit helps to pay back their $9 Million dollar debt for all the Moonlight monstraities like the $6 million dollar cop and lifeguard fort with screens galore to watch all the videos and social media and blocking the towel space and natural beauty of the area.

yet another failure of these clowns of City Council.

    ReplyDelete
  16. So to sum it up: 11 candidates, all 5 council members miraculously picked the same person. All you math majors out there, what are the odds? Factor in virtually no discussion and they're even longer, right?

    2. Dummy. when did he vote for it? City Council hasn't voted on the project yet. Planning staff report is opposed.

      Delete
    3. 3:53 he voted for it when he voted to approve that site as part of Measure U. Perhaps you weren't there when he did this or were not paying attention?

He was warned at the time of his vote what could be built on the site. But like a good little Blakespear foot soldier, he voted for it.

      Now who's the dummy?

Planning staff has no decision making power, much as they try. What they oppose/support means nothing to anyone with half a brain.

    4. The zoning has been changed...who did that?????? Hmmm???
      It didn't change itself !!!!!!

  18. Unofficial poll: Mosca or Kranz going for mayor?

If judged by weight, Kranz wins.
If judged by virtue signaling, Joe wins.
If judged by volume of words, it's a tie.
If judged by who threw their district harder under the bus, it's a tie.

They said YES to putting it on the 5th Cycle map. They said YES knowing what could be put there.

    3. so when they vote no, what happens then?

    4. 1:33 you're joking right? Goodson sues, the council backs down immediately and settles, Goodson gets to build the thing, and the council will use it as "evidence" as to why they have to do the BIA's bidding.

    1. Yes. He says he is as shocked as residents to learn of it. LIAR.

  20. Olivenhain and Leucadia are getting everything they deserve for voting in the losers of Mosca and Kranz. Now you get to choke on the endless upzoning of stack and pack and all the additional rats around town.

Both are clueless and both support BIAspear and Sacramento's mission to make Encinitas and all other former cool beach towns into Redondo Beach. YUCK. Idiots. Run them all out of town.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 6:31 neither are clueless. They know exactly what they're doing. Follow the money.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The colossal Goodson project in its current form was not proposed before the 2018 Measure U vote. When somebody here refers to it and asks Mosca's history on it, he/she means the now-proposed project, not what might have been when Measure U failed by less than 6%.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Council/Mosca apologist, that won't fly. Neither will your weak "failed by 6%" snark. Measure U failed by a majority.

The council was warned that R30 on that parcel would absolutely enable a project just as monstrous as Goodson proposes. The council voted to approve it on the map anyway.

No pass for Joe and good luck to him convincing D4 to support him in 2022. He'd be better off starting new and carpetbagging in another city.

      Delete
    2. Not a council/Mosca apologist, not a fan of any Goodson project. It's a fact that Measure U failed to pass by less than 6%. Talk to the jerk who thinks Blakespear "almost lost" while the spread was 10%.

The whole point that you missed is trying to find out what Mosca has said publicly about the project. If he's reelected in D4 or as mayor, the public is more out of touch than anybody thought.

If you looked at reality rather than your imaginings, you might stop losing.

      Delete
    3. There's no "trying to find out what Mosca has said publicly," we know what he has said. Ask anyone opposing the Goodson project or who attended one of his glad-handing coffee klatches and they will tell you that he came out publicly as "shocked, never saw it coming." That makes him either deaf or a liar, pick one.

      Delete
    4. If I knew what he had said, I wouldn't have asked.

      Delete
    5. well now you know and don't believe it ask him yourself.

    2. 8:21...I suspect you are on the money with both observations. I'm still reeling from the zoning change in Olivenhain...did these buffoons on the city council think no one would notice? as for Mexico, oh' hell yes. Any time, any one, that thinks Mexico is our friend.
THINK AGAIN. They will be your friend for the right price.

  24. EG in FINE FORM this week!

Encinitas City Attorney Pens Self-Help Book

With a tip of her bonnet to Dale Carnegie, Encinitas City Attorney Margo Gonzalez has written and self-published a self-help book titled How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.

“There’s no better way to release a self-help book than to self-publish it,” said Gonzalez. “Anything else would be contradictory.”

Self-help books usually point out how people can improve themselves and their relationships with others. By doing that, the books assert, people will lead happier and more successful lives. Not so the Gonzalez book.

“Sure, I know other self-help books are about kissing ass,” said Gonzalez, “but mine is about kicking ass. Nobody’s going to get anywhere by brown-nosing and volunteering to get steamrollered. That’s a recipe for failure.”

Gonzalez acknowledges her approach is contrarian, but she has her justifications.

“Anyone who goes around sucking up to everybody gets no respect,” said Gonzalez. “It’s humiliating. It squashes your self-esteem. It makes you weak. To succeed in life, you have to be strong, you have to whip your enemies, you have to vanquish your foes. It’s not honorable competition. It’s dog eat dog, and the dog with the biggest teeth wins.”

Gonzalez says she didn’t get to be city attorney by being a pushover. To hold her position, and keep her handsome salary, benefits and pension, she says she has to maintain a defensive crouch. If challenged, she has to come out with both guns blazing.

“So, no, I’m not in the business of winning friends and influencing people,” said Gonzalez. “I take the opposite approach, and I recommend it to everybody. That’s what my self-help book is about.”

  25. Hey BIAspear, beside all the poor in Mexico, Central America and South America, you better plan for Encinitas to invite 200k-300k poor Iraqis and Afghanitan refugees. Oh yeah, how is that message going to play out since barely any other county is vaccinating or gives a shit about COVID?

No Worries!!!! BIAspear's message is out throughout LAs homeless community and the world. World- Give us your tired, poor, homeless, and criminals.... its not their fault and they deserve a nice place to live in beautiful Cardiff by the Sea. We provide free room and board.... come one and all! There is plenty of room to camp on the nice streets of Cardiff. Try Rubenstein Drive the local residents welcome new campers.

Thanks BIAspear. I've seen the reports and all the other north county cities are sending their homeless to Encinitas as well.

PS- BIAspear is a complete failure for Encinitas. Worse than $tock$.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Right, 7:14, with a population of about 65,000, we're going to absorb 200-300K refugees. It's hard to believe you're really that dumb.

      Delete
  26. 3:20pm - I see your the type to judge others without reflecting on your own understanding.

Encinitas used to be a town of 65,000... No longer. BIAspear has upzoned many parcels and is welcoming all the world homeless to Encinitas. The word is out and we are seeing the homeless increase here thanks to her efforts. We have plenty of open land and she supports approving much more dense developments. Her freinds in Sacramento are proposing to convert former 1 house per lot to 4 units per lot by rught. Check it out yourself - https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220SB10

Under Blakespears plan - Encinitas could easily be a city of 200,000 in 10 years.

The BIA loves her and is laughing all the way to the bank.

Its doesn't matter that there is no water in our watershed or that people saved and bought homes here because they liked the former character. https://news.unm.edu/news/feds-announce-historic-water-cuts-what-does-this-mean

So what is BIAspears plan to shed her guilt? She is promoting free living at the beach to all the poor in the world and densify Encinitas to more like TJ. Thats BIAspears plan. Plain and simple.

BIAspear knows best and needs to shed some of that self inflicted shame of being born white with a silver spoon and a lawyer mom. The originally Janet. Do as I say, not as I do.

  27. WC, there's another council meeting tonight! Please put up a thread so we can discuss all the predetermined votes and how Mosca and Kranz are locked in an embarrassingly full force duel to the death to determine who gets to run for mayor.

Kranz: manages to sound dull and slow on virtually every topic.
Mosca: says less with more words than anyone in the history of the Encinitas City Council.

Not running, but get honorable mention:

Blakespear's deer in the headlights look every time the clerk announces public speakers.

Hinze: finally put down the giant sippy cup and stopped the endless neck cracking, still looks like she'd rather be getting a root canal than sitting up there.
