When the community is locked out of decisions, when council stacks hand picked speakers, we are no longer represented and it’s basically a dictatorship. Under Blakespear an extremely un benevolent and dysfunctional one at that.

What was their first step? To move in to Mommy's compound on the whitest street in Cardiff where they talk to all their white friends about how terrible it is that people did not mix and have multicultural family, freinds, schoolmate, and working mates. All while their brown landscapers, maids, and other servants cared for all their compounds needs.
Do actions speak louder than words?
Oh yeah. If our whitest princess Mayor backed her talk, she would suggest a homeless camp in our biggest park and parking lot the Community Park in Cardiff.
Our how about the free public parking along San Elijo Drive between Mozart Ave and Chesterfield Drive(man- I love those ultra white neighborhood street names!)
Come on our whitest of white Mayor, walk your talk and invite our world neighbors into your wonderful white neighborhood!

Shhhh- its our secret")
If she really walked the talk, she would suggest the bum parking lot at much more fitting locations closer to the beach. After all, that why the world's homeless come to Encinitas. It is the free beach living.

There are some who are comparing CC meetings to Game of Thrones with Kelly now going for a power grab by being as cruel as her mentor Blakespear. As Tony and Joe compete for the throne, Kelly appears to be positioning to overtake them. This is the most embarrassing council of all Encinitas history.

I say it's time to start electing Council members with real jobs, lives, and experiences so we can get better results. These tools just do not have real world experience to make good decisions based on sound judgement.
Anyone with real world experience will do a better job in 5 hours a week than these clowns do spending all that time yammerin and making bad decisions like increasing homelessness and density (more water users in our desert)in Encintas.
Ruben was outstanding. He pulled back the curtain to reveal what so many have observed: Blakespear pretending to be the Great Oz. His repeated use of the word "dictator" was spot on.
The old let's have 2 presentations before the meeting to waste time and discourage speakers. Not a good move.
