That middle turn lane is tough.

  1. Why?

I've never had a problem with it.

  2. Try turning out when the car carrier is stopped there and unloading cars. Some of the BMW employees park across the street in the residential area.

Los Angeles is painting their roadways with white paint for global warming. Would white paint have prevented this accident?

  7. Sell L7 to car dealerships, call it Quail Car Garden, and put 3 story affordable housing where BMW and Ford currently are.

  8. BMW is right next to some apartments, that is a good idea. Only please put in enough parking for the apartments. Right now BMW is using Beechtree Drive for its employee parking lot and being a very bad neighbor.

  9. The Shea homes density bonus subdivision Leucadia Blvd gets to bury contaminated soil under the houses.
Approximately 3,150 cubic yards of on-site soil were estimated to be potentially contaminated with elevated levels of pesticides identified as 4,4’-DDE and Toxaphene. This estimated volume would be refined based upon additional soil sampling that would be collected and analyzed prior to grading activity for the project. The contaminated soils are proposed to be buried and capped with clean fill material a minimum of seven feet below the finished grade of residential building foundations, front yards, and side yards.

  10. Our city claims there is not a problem with the decades of pesticide use.

How convenient. Sounds like Scott Verbuffs, haha, not funny one bit, usual incompetence at work again.

A mitigated negative declaration is not good enough and everyone should demand more. Call them out. Thanks Brenda [NOT] for falling in line like so many others in your position have in the past.

What a stinker. Just bury the toxics and cover them up. Not good enough, never was and never will be.

The city chooses to ignore the facts about percolation. That is the fact. This stinks. Sorry neighbors, you are screwed again. You have a toxic waste dump going in over your backyard fences.
