Rail engineers are no longer required to sound their train horns along the railway corridor just north of the San Elijo Lagoon in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
The City of Encinitas established its first ever “Quiet Zone” this week as part of the North Coast Corridor transportation project. The zone is along a half-mile stretch of the railway corridor on Chesterfield Drive and San Elijo Avenue.
Great.......now the bums, the drunks and the brain dead fools with their poor dogs off the leash (against the law) will be in the
ReplyDelete"crosshairs of death"..........this should interesting.
Per the FRA, the train engineer can still sound his horn for any safety reason, such as pedestrians nearby.
ReplyDeleteWish we had representation in Leucadia
ReplyDeleteNo shit. Cardiff get everything. Leucadia get section 8 from Krappy Kranz.
ReplyDeleteIt sucks!
If only. We're getting luxury rabbit warrens to line Krappy's developer friends' pockets while he claims to be one of the "people."
DeleteAnd that's just the tip of the Krappy iceberg.
You had it right up to "LOSER!" You have no self control do you, 4:04.
DeleteWC, time to take out the trash!
TRASH TIME WC!
DeleteKrappy-kranz is a nut job that needs to be sued for his negligence to the residents of Leucadia( big pig traitor) just to do his developer handlers bidding..
DeleteAn Amtrak bearing down at 80 mph should lay on that horn at every crossing.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the underground crossing they PROMISED us. Jody told me that she'll make it happen.
ReplyDeleteTasha told Neptune she'd get the Waze app to take all the streets west of the 101 off their maps so they wouldn't worry about cut-through traffic. Like Krappy, she'll say anything to get her way.
DeleteShouldn't make promises about things you don't control. Good rule to live by.
DeleteGood ol' boy Kranz wasn't in school that day.
DeleteLeucadia is sooo spoiled, they get all the affordable housing!
ReplyDeleteWhat? No Blakespear in the news report? She never misses a chance to get her mug on screen. Not to worry. We will see the photo op in her Sunday newsletter.
ReplyDeleteBlakespear is a transgender male. Just look at those legs, lack of chest, those bulging veins in her arms, that YUUUGE head and cheekbones, massive hands and to top it off she rarely wears make-up. She's a full on she-male, just take a look for yourself. Oh yeah and he's married to a nurse.
DeleteMaybe it's Bruce Jenner is disguise?
Delete4:08 PM Oh right, and the other MEN council and staff members are the very flower of male standards of health and fitness. Last council "guy" was 200 pounds overweight, current ex-football "hunk" is 60 pounds over the scale. Our last Mayor had a horse face, no boobs, and fake bleached hair and didn't know how to wear make up.
DeleteAnd the point is not how they look. The point is how they connive against residents on virtually everything. VOTE THEM OUT.
DeleteBlakespear can't think without her daily dose of her bff attorney, Kranz turned coat from the day he was in, and Hinze is a Blakespear puppet. When the next round is here, can the remainders.
Speaking of remainders, check out EG. The latest is an outstanding summary of Mosca's inane blurt outs.
Collusion isn't a federal crime, but maybe conniving is!
Delete4:56 PM Do they bring the Supervisor's Meetings to order with 'Hey Willlllber!" then hand out carrots?
Deleteasolutely a transgender male.. unfortunately for us she ignores it.
DeleteAt the quiet zone ceremony? Word is she was there, almost no residents present. You will see the photo op, that's a fer shure.
ReplyDeleteCardiff gets a quiet zone, Leucadia gets the shaft.... again. Thank you council, it's nice to know you can crap on us at will. But hey, Keep Leucadia Crappy!!
ReplyDeleteTony takes that to heart. Take our taxes and give all the improvements to Cardiff.
ReplyDeleteHe is such a dumb fuck and your right, he shafts Leucadia.
Tony is an honorable man. He says that if he's going to support affordable housing, he's going to walk the talk and offer his own district first. It's time for the others to step up and follow Tony's lead. Tony also says that Leucadia has the most vacant lots to achieve our housing needs.
ReplyDeleteA Tony devotee - drank the Tony Kool-Aid!
DeleteWhat about Olivehain. They for sure have the most open space for section 8 housing. Oh, I forgot that's where Tony lives.
Delete8:20- I think its a joke. No one but developers, the State, and our City Council wants Encinitas to transform overnight to Huntington Beach.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah and the City Manager to pay all the fat pensions.
ReplyDeleteOnly on EU can no one celebrate, however small, a positive step forward in establishing a quiet zone here in Encinitas. You people are pathetic. Any chance to vent your spleen no matter the topic, good or bad. That's what makes this site irrelevant. Such a shame.
ReplyDeleteIf EU is irrelevant, why are you reading and posting here?
DeleteI just check periodically to see what the fringe is saying.
DeleteCan anyone ever remember when someone on this blog has supported a City Manager or ??? After awhile you'll realize that the problem is not with them, but with YOU. Get a life people. If you were right, people would vote along with you, but they're NOT (e.g. JP)!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, just wow. Someone's off his meds.
DeleteAnybody who thinks JP was a legitimate candidate who ever had a chance of winning has mush for brains.
DeleteHey blakespear!! Any chance you could take a few minutes out of your busy schedule of ribbon cutting, handing mayoral awards to Girl Scouts for selling the most cookies and call CalTrans and ask then to..... FINISH the FRICKIN underpasses on Santa Fe and Enc Blvd?? 7 count them SEVEN weeks and NOTHING has been DONE !!! Thousands of residents of Encinitas are disrupted every day by the needless K rail protective barriers. Why?? There aren't any CalTrans workers to protect!!! Do something!! Anything!! Just don't sit on your ass like a bump on a lot.
