Police ticket people congregating at sunset

We heard through the grapevine this was a bunch of young people above Swami’s.

Patch:
Citations were issued to 22 people found near the beach in Encinitas for violating the state's stay at home order, authorities announced Saturday morning.

The tickets were issued Friday to people who "were watching the sunset, having picnics near the beach," according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

[...]

The violations carry fines of up to $1,000 or six months in jail or both, the department said.

    1. This is an excellent idea. It is the best idea. Be sure to stay 6 feet apart though.

This needs to happen. We need to get 20,000 "staystrong to do this.

Let's round them up and pay them...out of towners welcome. With so many unemployed this should be no problem.

The authorities and leaders have crossed the line.

Social breakdown will ravage our cities and leaders will be hung in the public square is two weeks when they announce this tyrannical garbage is going to continue not just thru the end of the month but for another 6-18 months it will take to create a fake vaccine.

  4. The state officially closed the beach at Cardiff State Park. Earlier beaches controlled by the city had been closed. Today (Saturday) there are No Parking signs along 101 in from of the state park. Not a single car can be seen. Previously it had been a solid line of parked cars. Many are still walking the Cardiff Rail Trail without face coverings.

  7. Why aren't the sheriff's deputies writing citations to the construction workers on all the developments in Encinitas. These projects are non essential. The luxury hotel under construction on 101 at La Costa has construction workers who may be from other parts of California or out of state. The council will do nothing and won't shut down construction. The council is encouraging the spread of the virus. Fine the council and throw them in jail.

In a week or two Newsom (Josef Mengele) will decree the complete fascist lockdown will roll thru the end of June. By mid June with social fabric and order breaking down he will then decree thru 12/31. They will never open this up. There will never be a "vaccine." How many of you have gotten the flu after having the flu vaccine? The only way out of this is a combination of herd immunity, antibody testing and quarantine of those most sick and those most vulnerable.

More to the story than what was reported - most of these people were SDA kids, and they always hang out there and some drink and smoke pot, the neighbors have been complaining about this for a long time and now finally the sheriff does something so they look like they are enforcing the stay at home order.

  20. I've seen these groups there often and being local and often driving by that local 2-3 times some days this does in fact make sense but would need further proof to validate. However.

The narrative the Sheriff placed on this and video made due to it is extremely troubling. They really should have detailed the fact you mentioned above rather than poking the beehive that they are horribly over-reaching which reflects directly on the local leaders which are currently on very think ice.

98% percent of the fatalities are those with weakened immune systems or really old people. Its a part of the evolution process. Thin out the herd. Lord knows there are enough humans on earth and I thought we were looking for a more sustainable existence moving forward. Many people who are susceptible are obese and have type 2 diabetes. Did you ever think many people should address their overall health and get out in the sunshine and walk or some kind of exercise. Many look like they are already killing themselves daily by not exercising.

Trying to close down the world every time there is a new virus is not good for public health. The overall effect due to the tanked economy - suicide, stress, drinking, non exercise, lack of sleep, will surely have a much bigger negative impact on public health than this virus.

The so called world leaders blew it with this one and did not look at the big picture common sense alternatives. This is a sad lesson to learn the hard way. I give them an F for creating this self imposed depression and all the negativity associated with this depression.

  29. Viruses for Dummies

    1. So is there a cure for the virus? No.
    2. How do you survive the virus? your immune system fights the virus.
    3. How do you support a strong immune system? Plenty of sleep, exercise and eat well. Vitamins like vitamin C and D help. Reducing stress is also good for the immune system.

    4. Will keeping distance help one improve their immune system? No.
    5. Will someone losing their job have an impact on their immune system. Well that depends. Would they sleep less, exercise less, and eat worse? Would they be more stressed. Some people lose sleep, have worse drinking and eating hablits when stressed.

    6. who are the most likely to be affected by the corona virus? those with weak immune systems and people over 80.

7j. Does flattening the curve have an impact on the economy which is tied to people getting work and income? Yes. The longer the curve the longer the drain on the economy which has in impact on one immune system as explained in

Conclusion: 6:42am crawl back under your desk. I heard there is yet another virus out there with a different strain. I heard they are going to call it the Pepsi virus and have the media whip the world dumb ass public into another frenzy. Oh, there.is another strain starting in Australia called the Fosters virus. Be very careful about that deadly beast, it results in a fever, cough, and body aches and if your immune system is weak it possibly may lead to complications.

Be very careful out there and make sure you do not breath. There are viruses and Bacteria that will get you. More on bacteria in a later post. Have a good day on your screens under your desk!!!! Booo!

Don't look at the statistics - the fatality rate is higher than .002% Oh my.... But what about the people with super weak immune systems. My suggestion would be to help most people get stronger immune systems. One thing that would help with that objective is to open the coastline to walkers, runners, and ocean enthusiasts. Have a great day, not working , suck inside worrying about your TP and finances, and on your screen rotting your brain and listening to the bad advice.

  43. 8:06am Your reposting the same ignorant opinion on different threads here indicates your need for attention and nothing more.

What a sad excuse for a human being your messaging in these unique times exhibits.

We are all in this together, or should be, on the same side.

That you have chosen your path is on you alone. History will be the judge.

Continue to spout your literally poisonous view point will ultimately focus on the source, and you will be the exemplar of who not to believe about anything.

It may take a proven failure to have everyone here to recognize you have no soul and care not for the rest of our treasured communities welfare.

  45. This lockdown has everyone stressed to the max and its totally unnecessary. The COVID numbers for San Diego have been consistently low, pre lock down and since.

Sweden has it right and did not harm their citizens by a self made Depression. Now we get to experience all the death and negative impacts to public health from the bad call and City of Encinintas City Council making the wrong call and closing everything including the coast. The State didn't even want to close the coast, until the City of Encinitas was pushing for it.

Now, COE gets to live with all the blood on their hands for this self imposed lock down and closing the coasts. I heard job loss is huge like over 40% of people lost their job or had an associated reduction in income. I heard alcohol sales were up 250% and other stress related stories. I sure hope we do not see a spike in suicides and felonies. All the deaths and hard time above the previous projections are all blood on the CEO for their poor leadership.

Be more like Sweden, keep the parking closed and open the beaches for starters.

The longer you wait, the more unnecessary blood on your hands.
