  1. Great emails--monotone delivery!

It reminds me of how Planning staff messes around with slide when citizens are trying to give presentations in a passive aggressive way.

  2. Crony Kranz aware it's an election year pretending to think critically.

  3. Hinze the beyond-lightweight is "enthusiastic" that SANDAG is giving the city a whopping $5K to reduce traffic lanes and force us onto bicycles. She doesn't work, has nowhere to be, so of course is over the moon. She deserves a lollipop.

How much will $5K buy, folks? Two bollards? Half a block of paint to restripe?

Time for adult supervision in November 2020.

    And ABC.

  4. Well, there you have it folks. Blakespear "looks forward to the next reporting period" for Leichtag. Guess they're getting their extension and not a single one of the 100 letters yet to read will move her needle. Pre-determined outcome much, Cathy?

  5. Well... why is no one demanding 100% opening including Beacons.

this COVID crap is a wolf call. No more deadly than the common anual flu. Look at the facts folks. Wake up sheep. You are minion.

    1. ABC guy is building a "brand" as an anonymous poster on a local blog. SO bold. Massive CLACKERS!

  8. Wow. Blakespear/council packed the emails with their supporters who support a homeless parking lot with only 3 Encinitas residents in April with the rest outside the city. Yet, the lies continue from Blakespear that it is only for Encinitas residents.

    1. And Tony trying to be peacemaker and seem reasonable to both sides.

Election year for Dalakranz! Someone's feeling the heat!

  9. Another Blakespear victory. Promised quarterly updates on the homeless parking lot went from every quarter to posted online from time to time with her "let's just vote and get out of here" bang of the virtual gavel. Zero oversight despite her original assurances.

    1. Yes, Joe Mosca gave JFS what they wanted - no written monthly report as required under the contact. Another big councilman rat that needs to be voted out unless he leaves voluntarily.

    2. I watched the livestream, if I remember correctly a female staff member asked the CC immediately after they voted in favor of extension of the parking lot "oh by the way did you want to hear the quarterly report"? Why was that not brought up before the vote? That really seemed intentional, geez. Why do the cities directly North and South of us have their act together so well and we are so lame??

    3. Mosca is a carpetbagger. He does whatever, if the price is right. He needs to be deposed off the council.

  10. Unanimous continuation of the parking lot and no need for further reviews thru the next year. Crime in the area was due to the parking lot antagonists according to Capt Taft, and no (zero) crime due to the program.

My opinion: No data regarding increased homelessness in general and so no way to associate the anecdotes of the community with the parking lot. Success stories from the lot are tangible and real, thus the lot was destined to pass. And the Homeless Action Plan gets delayed another month because of the current pandemic situation.

    1. Taft didn't address it but anyone that looks at the crime data would see that there was a massive increase in the number of upstanding Saxony area homeowners assaulting their spouses and neighbors during the month under lockdown.

    2. Why did the Jewish Family Service only need $52,000 to run one of the homeless parking lots in San Diego. Here in Ecinitas the JFS needed $256,000? Regional task force for the homeless didn't do a good background check on JFS if they didn't know JfS was taking the taxpayers for 5 times what they used in San Diego. Encinitas council/mayor ask JFS about the $52,000 in San Diego.

  11. What city council would be fool enough to not require reviews on a project. The Encinitas council.

Marcos brief progressive fantasy of forever lockdowns, sharrow shames, police state fckery and sea walls as big as the empire state building is on borrowed time.
    Vote them all out.

  17. ABC

She always makes bad calls for Encintas. Bad and expensive. Lawsuit costs are sky rocketing from all the injury claims being submitted for unsafe known conditions.

  18. Catherine, Tony and Kelly are Marco's Choices. That should be the new campaign slogan.
