Lots about the bicycle crashes at the mayor's brand-new road configuration. The city engineer Mr. Bandegan has posted a long and heartfelt "not here as a city employee, but just Abe" open letter on EV and the new "Please restore safe cycling in Encinitas" Facebook page (over 600 members joined in the last few days).
Bandegan's letter is at odds to say the least with unsympathetic responses he's written to residents who wrote to complain about the new bike lane configuration. It's also at odds with one poster's question on costs. Bandegan replied immediately that those inquires must be made through public records requests (city often takes longer than the legal 10-day limit to respond).
Many are discussing privately that his post was all about damage control and protecting the mayor. If Bandegan had not written the blame the victim emails and not told a poster to make a records request to get public information, his mini novel would not have fallen so short of sincere.
The small support for the concrete queen is banding together with Roger Ogden and the rest of the hard core racists and anti-semites in San Diego.
EU knows this is a losing strategy, and it will cause his “shit on local government” movement to again come in at 15%.
EU hates that, so he makes up some bullshit false flag conspiracy without evidence as pretext to delete the honest rantings of his racist fringe followers.
