City to create permanent homeless bureaucracy

 From the Inbox:

On the 2/26 City Council meeting agenda that as usual, this council downplayed until game time.  The Homeless Action Plan will ratchet up expenses and increase homeless operations citywide:
  1. New position creation for a dedicated City Homeless Manager and Coordinator
  2. increased/newly-created temporary and permanent housing
  3. Expanded safe parking lots
  4. Additional brick and mortar operations for drug treatment/walk in clinics and day centers
This plan is far more comprehensive and extensive than was presented previously to the public.  City funding will create an entire range of services that include ADU incentives, motels, developments, shelters, parking programs, clinics, etc.

  1. This sounds like another sweet job or jobs for someone at the City.

    1. Fat salary. fat pension, city car, expense account - this should be the county's responsibility.

  2. It may also be joined into the housing element that will allow the state to sue Encinitas which means everyone will have to pay for these bait and switch by the state agencies and the current council of Kranz, Hinze, Mosca, and Blakespear.

  3. Why does our council HATE Encinitas residents??

  4. It sounds like our mayor is setting up a position to hire Mali Woods Drake, the BLM advocate. More virtue signaling on the or our mayor.

  5. That is a given since Mali will be working for the city/Grover/Gonzalez with this little addition at the end of the Fox Farms appeal: "Near the end of the appeal at our City Council meeting, the project applicant, who is a longtime Encinitas resident and civically active, offered additional community and environmental enhancements as a gesture of good will.

Some of these additions included contributing $100,000 to purchase California carbon offset credits and investing in micro-transit in Encinitas, purchasing a 12-passenger van and agreeing to shuttle students to local elementary schools for at least five years, and $10,000 to a local nonprofit, Encinitas for Equality, to monitor and market the shuttle program to best serve those who live in the new community." BLM are an extreme Marxist violent group formed to overthrow all systems of a civil society. Marxists/commies. The BLM group changed its name to Encinitas4Equality. Reminder the BLM riots last year.

    1. Developer Brian Grover for the Fox Point Farms approved by the city council on a residents appeal is on the city traffic commission. He stands to make millions of dollars on this deal. Encinitas attorney Marco Gonzalez represented Grover against the residents appeal to the council. Gonzalez also put a campaign money PAC together to get the Mayor Blakespear, Kranz, and Hinze re-elected and to defeat the residents running against them. Big money involved.

  6. Days Inn on Encinitas Blvd. west of I-5 is apparently a voucher center now. The cops were investigating a corpse in a room a week or so ago. Sounds like this place has really gone downhill.

    1. Reads like those Hollywood murders in motels that were always in the news for decades.
Blackspear the fool, is ruining Encinitas.
Let's recall her and her leftist buffoons.

  7. This is so great. Building homeless shelters and creating high density low income housing in our neighborhood. I am so glad I bought my dream house in Encinitas and the Mayor is fucking up everything we loved about Encinitas.

How did this entitled B&*tch get elected?

I saw in the last election, she barely won by a mere 2,000 our town over over 60,000. Hopefully, next time the outcome has her as the loser she is. LOSER!

    1. Blakespear won by 3,829 votes. Before you post, get the facts straight.

    2. 7:32: She won by 10% over Thunder, 55% to 45% of the votes cast. No matter the story you tell yourself, it wasn't even close.

    3. Her challenger back in 2018 received 15% of the votes. Two years later the challenger received 45% of the votes. You draw the line on the graph and look at the projections for 2022. The Challenger will get somewhere between 75% of the votes or possibly a bit lower.

We are so excited to have hope that the destruction will stop and we will get a better Mayor.

    4. 9:11 - I made $0 when I was 12. When I was 15, I made $8,000. When I was 40, I made $450,000. You draw a line, and when I'm 80, I'll be making $10,000,000,000 per year. You really can't be this stupid, can you?

If you reread my post, you will hopefully see that I wrote, " or possibly lower."

Your projections are close to my earning numbers, but maybe not under-performers like you. :)

Have a nice day and study hard retard.

  8. Have I missed where "all the homeless people are"?
I go to the downtown area and beach all the time...where are they?
The left is thankfully unraveling thru out the country so blackspear needs to wake up. Blackspear, if you read this it's time for you to dump your America hating leftist garbage and grow up.

  9. I highly doubt that any of the council members truly won the election. Same goes for the communist Terra Reamer (sic) who supposedly unseated the popular county supervisor incumbent, Gaspar. The county used the questionable Dominion voting machines, and handed out sharpies. An audit is in order. These losers will stay in office until we demand election reform. We have turned into a communist utopia through fraud, ignorance and apathy. We get what we fail to research and challenge.

    2. Gaspar barely won against Roberts, and she lost to Lawson-Remer. Gaspar was not popular, as the election proved.

    3. 6:24 - Questionable Dominion voting machines? Add yourself to the list of those being sued! OAN, Newsmax, and Fox T-hole lickers Hannity, Dobbs, Bartiromo, and the gruesome Ingraham. These people are going to be broken by their stupid march for Trump. Trumpy dum-dums. Traitors!

  10. Let's not get distracted from the issue at hand and recognize the bait and switch just perpetrated on the good folks of Encinitas. Tweekers & transients will be heading to our city from all corners of the homeless universe. Crime, drugs and excrement loom large in our future. Mali, by the way, will be too busy on the new Equity committee to bother with a few loathsome homeless....

    2. 8:09 - Tweekers and transients don't plan their trips. They may end up here but your notion that they come here as a destination, as a result of city policy is dirt-eating-dumb.

  11. Come to Encinitas!! A sketchy tweeker on evercorner damanding your 9 year old engage them and give them their lunch money, human poop and smeared paper (not sure how all the bums are able to always have TP) in every corner and all beach access, and crowded littered LA beach conditions with developers laughing all the way to the bank and buying more personal property in Rancho Santa Fe and Del Mar where they care about quality of life issues for their small group of community residents.

    BIAspear is destroying Encinitas.

  12. Anyone even know where this Woods Drake person came from? She moved here only last year and instantly ingratiated herself with the mayor and Hinze. The buzzwords and virtue signaling must have drawn them to her like moths to a flame. Woods Drake came out of nowhere and has now wormed her way into city government.

    Cue Blakespear Kool-Aid drinker....

  13. I love how E4E is cofounded by several entilted white Bia&ches and then they have the gall to hire a few men of some color to do some fund raising.... these Jane entilted white bit*hes are the worst.

    Congratulations!

  15. Why wouldn't E$E have their front public facing representatives be all people of needing Equality issues addressed instead of entitled Janets doing the typical bleeding heart signaling?

Why don't they set up an educational program to help those that need help to be more successful in this world.

Actions speak louder than words.... Always.

These Janet's offer only Janet squawking.

    This gets so tiring.

  16. I suggest the city council import some homeless from other areas so that they may support the thesis for creating such a department. But, let's not stop there. The homeless must be of all races and colors. That way, the leftists can feel good about themselves.

    1. 9:56 - hey racist - maybe you've not noticed that there are very few homeless people of color here in Encinitas. 90+% are white male - most-likely vets. Please try to reconcile your anger toward homeless people with your bullshit patriotism. Suck yourself.

    2. 7:26...apparently you missed the dry humor of 9:56.
And, a leftist you must be as everything is "racist" to you people. When you can't debate, "scream racist" to make your points.

  17. I sneezed the other day walking near the city hall complex.

I was wearing 4 masks and when I sneezed my neutral gender partner threw a huge blanket over me before I did the deed.

Much to my surprise a bunch of folks began chanting racist towards me and I needed to run away fast because they had renewable pitchforks made out of burlap.

    It was kinda weird
